It's just a regular student tradition every year, the first day of school.

　　I am now officially in high school, well second year of middle school for other countries.

　　I'm actually excited yet nervous, I get ready like what students normally do and head to school, I checked all my things and went to the class I was assigned to.

　　I went inside and sat at a vacant chair, a girl waved at me. Of course I waved back. We talked for a while then I noticed the other girl beside me. She looks tough but sweet. We became friends but didn't hang out. Tiring first day :

　　It is now the second day and we had regular classes. I tried to talk to the new girl that was beside me and it doesn't really seem like she's interested. I tried to talk to another girl but it also looks like she isn't looking for friends...

　　Lunch time came and I invited two of my new friends, we were at the table chilling and just talking.

　　I invited them a few times thinking they would always accept the offer but they found new friends. Of course I'm happy for them but I also wish that I'm with them. I just didn't mind it and eat alone for a few times when a random girl went near me and talked to me....

　　I never really thought or expected that someone would come up to me. She started talking and asked why was I sitting alone? Where are my friends?

　　I didn't know what to say so I had to lie to her and said that my friends were busy. I feel bad for lying but at the same time I don't want her to think that I'm lonely. She then started talking to me until she sits with me everyday and eat lunch with me. Of course I was happy, I was too shy and when my friends left, O thought I'm going to be lonely for the rest of the year with no one to eat with.

　　Every school day was just the same. Having classes, eating lunch, talking with friends and school work.

　　When our school had a sports day event. I was kind of excited since we won't have classes but it also means we need to play. I'm going to be honest, I'm bad at sports, I'm afraid the ball will hit me in the face. Then, I had to play dodge ball, last time I played, I hurt my knee and my leg felt pain. Of course I can't say no, I took off my glasses and played.

　　We finished playing and I looked for my glasses since I gave them to my classmate. My classmates were no where to be found..

　　I came looking for them but I have a blurry vision that I didn't even noticed that my friend

called me. Being unaware of my surroundings, I ignored her.

　　She thinks I must have hate her now, we didn't eat at the same table for a few weeks. I was lonely again.

　　Who knew that the girl was actually a temporary happiness? At that point, I was about to give up when I thought that I should at least speak to her. We made things ear and understood the misunderstanding.

　　I was really happy that we were talking again. I was so proud for not giving up and so far, we are still good friends...
