**Thelma**
I sat up carefully on the bed as I stared at the dark-skinned handsome man sleeping beside me.
It had been an unforgettable hot night between us, and I could still feel the throbbing between my thighs from how hard he had pounded me the previous night.
How did it all start?
I was ridiculed by my best friends, Sandra and Ella, for still being a virgin at 24 years old, and I was pained at the realization that I looked foolish in front of them.
I rushed down to the nearby club to gulp down any available liquor they had and to forget my sorrows. But then a man approached me and asked, "Hello, miss."
I stared back at him and wondered what he wanted, but I was too sad to listen to him.
He grabbed the bottle from my hands and pulled me along to follow him.
"Who are you? Let me go!" I screamed, wearing a slim-fitted long red gown with black low-heeled shoes.
I was the only daughter of my billionaire parents and the sole heir of BeeH Group. The people in the bar didn’t dare to interfere; they were all absent-minded and drinking from their own bottles.
"Calm down, miss. I don’t mean any harm," the man said to me, and I paused to stare up at his face.
He wore a black suit and looked older than me—a middle-aged man, probably in his 40s.
I had never fantasized about having an affair with an older man who seemed fit to be my uncle's age-mate, and I immediately struggled to pull my hands away from his grip.
"Calm down, miss. I don’t mean any harm," he repeated as he took me to a corner in the bar.
"If you don’t mean any harm, then let go of my hands," I said, and he sighed before quickly speaking. "Look, miss, I need your help, and I think you’re the best lady for the job."
"What job?" I asked him, my sharp blue eyes staring into his dark face.
I wondered if he was a boss or a servant here. In this City B, only billionaires could afford to live there. I was curious about what help the black man standing before me needed.
I was fair-skinned, and he said, "Look, miss. I know that you don’t know me, but I saw you when you rushed in here, and I could tell that you're heartbroken."
"So, what do you need me for?" I asked, and he released my left hand that he had dragged me with. "I want you to accompany me to spend a night with my boss."
"Your what?" I asked him again in utter disbelief.
I was the daughter of the richest man in City B. How could this man be offering me such a ridiculous task?
Well, I already looked heartbroken from my two best friends' insults, and I heard him say, "I will pay you handsomely, miss, but please come with me first, as I don’t have time to waste."
I wanted to protest.
First, I didn’t know him.
Second, I had never gone out with a stranger before, as I was always heavily guarded by my father's bodyguards.
My dad didn’t easily allow me out of his sight, and at the bar I had rushed into, my dad's security team was still outside on the ground floor, waiting while my friends and I had been celebrating my birthday in the private hall before they all laughed at me.
I thought it best to follow the older man, as he seemed responsible and honest from his demeanor. More importantly, I wanted to lose my virginity quickly to avoid further ridicule from my friends.
My father wanted to arrange a marriage with a top billionaire's son, but he hadn't found the right match for me yet—someone who met his requirements for the type of groom he wanted for me.
I silently followed the man, and we got into the back seat of his car. He drove me away from the luxurious hotel, and I noticed two guards seated silently in the back while I sat in the front seat next to him.
We arrived at a magnificent building, and I wondered who owned the powerful mansion that stood before me.
"Step out, miss," the middle-aged man said, and I remembered that I hadn’t even asked him his name yet.
I gulped and stepped out as he instructed. "Come with me."
I followed him into the magnificent building that stood before me.
The building looked as powerful as my father’s mansion, and I could see all the guards stationed around, standing watch over the premises.
"Welcome, Sir Adam," the maids greeted the old man who had brought me into the mansion, bowing to me respectfully as well. I waved my left hand in dismissal, and I noticed that Sir Adam looked surprised by my action.
"Come with me, miss," Sir Adam said, and I followed him.
We walked upstairs to the second floor of the magnificent two-story building, and he paused, saying, "My boss is inside. Please wait here for a moment while I attend to him."
I was scared and curious to know who the boss of the magnificent building was.
Was he my father's age-mate, or a young handsome man like me?
I was scared and intrigued at the same time as I admired the artistic painting on the wall, depicting warriors from ancient times.
I stood admiring the beautiful view of the second floor when Sir Adam later stepped out and said to me, "Come in, miss."
I gulped and followed him into the sitting room.
I could feel the air in my body stand on end as the cold air conditioning blew against my skin.
I stepped into the sitting room, which was painted white, and it seemed every item in there was also white, invisible to me.
"Look, miss. Just do whatever my boss wants. We drugged him to have sex with you."
"What?!" My eyes widened at the revelation.
"I'm not a prostitute," I said, in case that’s what Sir Adam thought of me when he saw me rush into the club.
"I know, miss. Just go in there, and you will meet my boss. I promise to pay you as discussed, and I will take you back home safely."
"Is this a joke? Pay me how much?" I asked inquisitively, even though I wasn't broke; I was a billionaire and owned a black card.
So how much did Sir Adam think he could pay me?
"One million," he said, and I chuckled.
"I'm worth way more than that, sir. I cannot go in there; I'm scared," I replied, afraid of who the man in the bedroom was that Sir Adam was asking me to meet.
"Please, miss," Sir Adam begged me.
"Call me Thelma," I said. I didn’t want to mention my father’s last name, as mentioning Sebastian made it easy for anyone in City B to know who my father is; my family is well-known as the richest in City B.
"Okay, Miss Thelma, but we cannot continue to delay. Just name how much you want, and I will speak to the old master about it."
"The old master? Who's that?"
"Who's there??" I heard a deep male voice call from within the room, and I froze, as the voice sounded powerful and cold.
"Please go in, Miss Thelma. I will be outside waiting," Sir Adam said quickly as he sneaked out of the sitting room, shutting the door behind him, leaving only me in the white room.
