[Breaking News: The daughter of the famous CEO of The Armored Air Administration was caught at a local bar using illegal drugs. Who knows if the first rumor about this Heir being caught was true or a lie? Brazie Armstrong was now held captive in jail...]
This is the world I live in, fuzzy, almost dim and only a shiver of light can get in. Everyone says I'm miserable but who cares? I like it this way...
I like it very much...
My lips were dry and I indeed needed cold water to quench the thirst I felt while looking at the people I was within this room, Some of them were just lying down, some were playing cards and some were just closing their eyes seated and crammed into this small room...
"Dear, you're too young to come here, what's behind you?" the woman who looked like she was 50 years old asked me.
I didn't answer her and just closed my eyes. My thought wasn't right and I didn't have the urge to talk to a stranger.
At this very moment, I was only wondering where I could get something to drink because I felt like I was on the verge of dying from thirst. But to keep myself cool I decided to close my eyes, but the scene last night wouldn't let me as it kept replaying inside my head over and over again like a broken plaque and how it happened quickly. Instead of panicking I chose to keep quiet. And as soon as I opened my eyes, my vision went straight ahead at the closed door in front of me, waiting for something or someone to save me here...
The other lady laughed which brought my attention back to where I was but I didn't look at her, I just kept leaning my head against the wall while my eyes fluttered from sleepiness.
"I'm sure that girl is from a rich family. Don't you see how she looks? Their utensils at home must be golden. Not only that, she's so disrespectful!" The lady said while a woman whistling on her shoulder just laughed.
"You guys are making so much noise! Was it because you've been here for so many years? You've adapted the criminal brain that you forgot to be civilized! Can't you see I'm resting?!" I shouted at her.
Everyone who was with me inside this room became silent, The eyes of the woman who had been massaging her back turned worry. The woman started to stand, and as her feet stood on the cold tiles, she began to walk towards me.
I did nothing but let her come and held my gut tight for I knew I might be beaten badly.
The lady grabbed me by the neck and used that to pull me upright, that pull sent electric shivers down to my toes that made my face wrinkle, all the people cheered and applauded because of the fight that was going to happen, she didn't let go of my neck and while struggling I pinched her left boob hard because I was losing my breath.
"You b*tch!" She yelled, and I did nothing but walk backward until my back was behind the door to catch the air that almost disappeared from my body.
The big african-american lady was so eager to charge in my direction when suddenly two officers appeared and opened the cell. Everyone was surprised and acted as if nothing happened and I was still catching my breath looking at the ladies with me inside ready to wrestle me anytime soon.
"Brazie Armstrong?"
"Y-yes?" I gasped in response.
"Come with us."
The officer then placed both of my hands behind my back and then cuffed them, I don't know what was happening but I went with them properly because I would rather follow these officers than die at the hands of that woman. When I turned my attention to the road I was on, I only realized how sad and miserable this place was. Only then, did I realize that I was actually in jail.
There were a lot of eyes looking at me, and I couldn't control my feelings, for I only knew one thing, after all this I would never choose to come back here again. I went to the room where my things were given, including my clothes, removed my handcuffs, and was allowed to walk on my own towards the last gate and before I could finally go out, there was this officer that halted me for the last time.
"Brazie Armstrong, congratulations on being released. However, if you happen to commit another issue like this you'll be put here again and no money can ever get you out." The officer seriously told me that my face was white, I couldn't see myself but I could feel the cold running through my skin.
I need to change,' I said to myself as I made my way to the last gate leading out of the prison I entered.
The wall I was walking through was white, and you wouldn't think what was inside this tunnel was scary. The small gate opened for me and as soon as I stepped out the gate my father's driver met me there. I silently walked and got into the car that was used to pick me up.
The driver silently drove the car and I didn't do anything but hug my things while looking at the moving scenery we were passing by, I don't know but I didn't feel like going home to a house that I couldn't call 'home'
A home that's light, peaceful...
loving...
welcoming...
I don't know what happened but the reason why I'm like this was because... my father never really appreciated me after that Alessia and him got back together.
I'm pretty sure it's not an immature thing but that's the reason why...
I'm rebelling against him.
The moment the car stopped I already knew were in front of the mansion. I was dropped off in front of the big door that was already opened. I walked towards the stairs and entered the mansion. It was the same elegant but not in the cozy mansion, its walls had a beige color that created warm vibes but I didn't feel the warmth at all, and all I wanted to do was to run away ...
I'm standing in the living room looking at the spacious mansion I grew up in. I don't know where my anger was coming from, my gut began to tighten as I was looking at my father who was now going down the stairs. After all, I wasn't using drugs but I'm more sure that I like to gamble, that's all.
The father I grew up with approached me elegantly, but I showed no emotion on my face as I looked at his aged face. His jaw was clenched as soon as he reached where I was and then his big hard palm met my right cheek.
I was numb, and all I know is that tears fell from my eyes.
But tell me, can a heart break again, if it's already broken?
Alessia came running towards my father whom I ignored and she was trying to stop him from what he was going to do next, but I couldn't care less.
"I don't know what to do with you! You disappointed me with how you behaved! Why are you being like this? Is it because you always visit that crazy mother of yours?!" He shouted which filled the whole house.
A smile formed on my lips, that crazy you were calling was once your lover...
"Didn't you know how worried we are?!"
Concern huh? Who would be worried to someone who's not related by blood?
I didn't know what to feel and I just looked at him with tears falling from my eyes, but deep inside I badly wanted to say that...
It turned out like this was because... I'm not your real daughter and when that unborn child entered this world...
I'm afraid, you won't remember me.
Nevertheless, the reason this house doesn't feel like home is because of...
You...
Dad...
