With a heavy heart, Tessa Romano walked down the street littered with wealthy and lavish houses, of course, most of them were mansions and she wasn't surprised as she didn't expect less from the householders who lived in the expensive estate.
She felt a pang of jealousy within her, she had lost her house to mortgage after her father passed away a few months ago, it wasn't as well primmed as the ones she was looking at but it was still her home. Now, the bank was going to demolish it and a few other houses in her former neighbourhood to make way for a mall for the rich kids.
Now, as she rolled her suitcase down the road, she reminded herself that after the storm comes the silence, something her father always used to say, these words she kept closest to her heart in times of distraught. Although they were never rich, her dad was well educated and he made sure she also got her own education till now. She was a senior in highschool at the moment but had to halt when her dad died to get her life back together but failed miserably to do so.
She didn't understand how it happened, how could she loose the house her father worked his ass off to buy? She decided from then On, she hated O'Connell Banks and Enterprises with every fibre of her being even though she was currently walking in the estate owned by Andrew O'Connell himself.
That man had built an estate after knowingly sabotaging other people lives and happiness. She knew she was very sour and bitter about how his bank has so willingly destroyed her life and forced her into living with a woman she had not seen in years.
Stopping in front of a huge gate, she pressed a bell and waited for anyone to reply, she was growing impatient as the telecom came on signifying there was actually someone at the security post although the surroundings were eerily quiet.
"O'Connell residence, how may I help you?", the deep voice had spoken through the device,
"I'm here to see Bethel Agrest, she did mention I was coming today, right?", she had to ask, was it possible that the woman had forgotten about her arrival? Well, she wouldn't have been surprised since the woman did abandon her to live as the chiefmai
In the O'Connell household.
"Tessa Romano? Come on in", after the words were spoken, the gate immediately slid open, allowing her to walk into the gated residence. She was about to walk past the security post when a handsome man in his late twenties came out wearing a guard's uniform, he looked incredibly sexy in it but she knew he was way too old for her. "Are you okay with finding your way to the main mansion or do you need a map?", he asked her. Her jaws slacked, a map? Was this place actually that huge?
"I'll be fine, thank you Mr...", she trailed off realising she did not even know his name,
"Call me Andy or Drew, either way is alright", he said with a friendly smile,
"Ok Then, thank you Andy", she preferred Andy to Drew cause it sounded friendlier and less manly like he actually was. After a nod, he went back into his post and she started routing her way to the main building.
After thirty minutes of walking in circles, she regretted not collecting the map, she didn't think it would be so hard to get there but this place was huge and she had gotten lost a mile back. She was about to give up when she heard the sound of an engine revving in the distance, and in seconds, the luxury car was right beside Her, she didn't know what make the car was but she knew it was high class and expensive.
But that's not what made her jaw drop, it was the god that was inside the car. This strange guy had the body of a god and a smile that could make any girl drop their panties to the ground, his blue eyes shone brightly and had her captured within seconds.
"Hey beautiful, wanna hop in?", he smirked at her when he saw her reaction to his gorgeousness. He knew he was hot and he wasn't one to not brag about it. He loved everything about himself and having money was just a bonus to his marvellous looks. Even she couldn't hold in her blush when he called her beautiful. She had been called this before by many guys but this one stood out. Was it the way he said It? Was it because he just topped the list of the most handsome guys she had ever seen? Was it because he was visibly wealthy?
She immediately scratched that thought out of her mind, she had never been one to get attracted to a person's money, she wasn't a gold digger and she was in fact sure of that.
She wanted to get into the car with the attractive guy immediately but he was still a stranger, STRANGER DANGER! She remember what every responsible parent told their kids when they were younger, never follow a stranger.
"Thanks for the offer but no", she said sweetly, maybe if she was calm and as sweet as possible, he'll let her go if he were actually a kidnapper,
His smirk tilted slightly, he had never been reflected before, it felt new that a girl would ever say the two dreaded letters to him, "Why?", he said slightly annoyed, he did not like that word and she had used it on him. NO? How absurd!
"Cause you're a Stranger", she shrugged and he let out a laugh of humor laced with inward relief. He was happy that his charm hadn't died down but this girl was just conscious, it was smart though and very cute.
"Ok then. I'm Alex but you dear can call me zaddy", he smirked at his own sexual joke as she blushed ten shades darker. "And what's your name sweetheart?", now she knew he was purposely trying to turn her into a mushy tomato with the excessive compliments.
"Tessa", she giggled, her eyes on the ground as if her worn out sneakers were the most interesting thing to watch.
"Well Tessa, cute name by the way", he paused to wink at her in the middle of his sentence which made her heart race, "If you're planning on getting to the main house before sunset, you better hop in, cause, with those short but darn sexy legs, you have a long way to go". This time, she couldn't take the compliment and she began rubbing her thighs to get some friction in between her legs. Of course he noticed this and his mind went haywire, she was so hot and he really wanted to bed her then and there but he doubted she'd want that.
Since she realised he was going towards the same place she was going to and she was in fact lost as deer in headlights, she decided to hop into the first ever luxury car she had ever rode in. There was a huge different from these seats compared to the ones on the bus. The car smelled of his cologne and she couldn't help but savour the sweet smell.
