Snow gazed at her notebook, a sigh escaping her lips. She felt safe and calm; this was the only place where she found peace—the library.

Every other student was busy in the cafeteria having lunch, but here she was, reading and not touching a single bite.

Although her stomach grumbled with hunger, she forced herself to stay still. His cold stare still frightened her; if she took a step outside, she would be bullied and end up the same as always—either injured or hospitalized.

She was just fifteen years old, studying among older wolves. It wasn't easy. The mocking gazes from others and Logan's bullying were enough to crush her spirit.

"Look who we have here. If it isn't the lowly omega," Tiffany said, arms folded under her chest and a smirk playing on her lips. She was Logan’s toy and known to everyone as the next Luna—the girl he had been with the longest.

"Please, I don't want trouble," Snow muttered, and Tiffany laughed before glaring at her.

"Did she just order me?" she asked her friends, Valerie and Rose.

"She did," Valerie replied. Snow bit her bottom lip, hands trembling in fear, her gaze fixed on the dusty floor.

"I didn't mean that," she whispered softly, barely audible.

"We should teach her a lesson. What do you think, Luna?" Rose added, her eyes glittering as she awaited Tiffany's answer.

"Hmm, no fun," Tiffany said, acting high and mighty. She made everyone address her as Luna—after all, she was the only girl in Logan’s life, the Alpha’s son.

"Hey, omega!" Tiffany snapped. Snow trembled, sweat trickling down her face, her lips sealed tight.

"Go get me an espresso, and it better be from outside the school. I don’t care if you sneak out—just don’t get caught. If you do, the pain you’ll receive will be ten times worse," Tiffany warned, flashing a smile that sent shivers down Snow's spine.

"Okay," Snow murmured, standing to her feet and rushing out of the library. Her heart thudded in her chest, full of fear and paranoia.

Snow didn’t want to hurt anyone; she liked keeping to herself and had never told her parents how badly she was bullied at school.

"You have fifteen minutes!" Valerie shouted, and Snow’s eyes widened. Fifteen minutes was too little for an average wolf like her—especially since she hadn’t shifted yet. Snow knew she had to sneak out of school and use her savings to buy the espresso.

She made her way to the school’s back gate, her steps light and quiet to avoid attracting attention. Her movements were smooth and sly; this wasn’t her first time sneaking out.

Tiffany had practically turned her into a stealthy servant. She was usually lucky and never got caught, but this time, luck wasn’t on her side.

"What are you doing?" Imogen asked, her gaze fixed on Snow’s extended leg, one brow raised knowingly.

"Nothing," Snow whispered, her hands entwined nervously.

Imogen’s gaze roamed over her. She had seen Snow being bullied by Logan and his disgusting girlfriend many times. She noticed the faint mark on Snow’s neck, and a frown settled on her face.

"Who hit you?" she asked, and Snow froze. Her thoughts flashed back to a few weeks ago when Logan had thrown a book at her. The scar was still visible.

It had hurt, but Snow was good at hiding pain. She had kept it to herself, even though it still ached. She didn’t respond, trying to avoid the question.

Imogen frowned. She had guessed it was Logan—the Alpha's son who took joy in bullying others, especially Snow.

Snow was small and timid, letting others walk all over her without a word. She accepted unfair treatment and still managed to smile through it.

Imogen had always disliked Logan, especially because of his cruel nature. She often wondered when he and his gang would finally grow up and stop their bullying.

Gritting her teeth, Imogen clenched her fists. She had watched Snow suffer so many times and had stepped in before, but nothing changed. This time, she was going to end it—even if it meant knocking Tiffany's teeth out.

"Don’t go anywhere," Imogen said firmly. Snow nodded in agreement—she didn’t want to sneak out anyway. Still, the thought of Imogen’s next move made her nervous.

"Where are you going?" she asked shyly.

"Just stay out of sight, no matter what," Imogen replied, walking away. Her words left Snow curious and a little uneasy. She just didn’t want any more trouble.

Imogen stepped into the library, feeling the sharp gazes of the girls on her. For a moment, they thought she was someone else.

Tiffany rolled her eyes when she saw Imogen—the troublemaker who always found a way to disrespect her and Logan. She was a rebel and a nuisance.

"What is it this time?" Tiffany said lazily, and Imogen crossed her arms.

"Haven’t you had enough?" she asked sharply, and Tiffany yawned, then glared.

"Five minutes. I won’t listen to your nonsense for longer than that," she said, making Valerie and Rose smirk.

"Wipe those smirks off your faces, puppets," Imogen snapped, making both girls frown. Then she turned her glare to Tiffany.

"You’ve had your fun. Leave the omega alone," she said, her voice raised slightly.

Tiffany stood up and approached her.

"Watch your mouth. You should speak to your Luna with respect, or should I humble you?" she threatened.

Imogen chuckled coldly. "We already have a Luna, and that’s not you. Logan’s going to dump you like he did the others, and when he does—I’ll be the first to laugh in your face."

Tiffany frowned and raised her hand to slap Imogen, but it was caught midair.

"Fake Luna, mind who you touch. I’ll break your fucking hand," Imogen warned, her eyes blazing. Tiffany gritted her teeth in rage.

She swore to make Imogen beg for mercy—and she’d use Logan to help. Having power was a luxury, especially when dating the Alpha’s son.

Meanwhile, Snow waited patiently, hoping Imogen would return soon. But her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of loud, heavy footsteps behind her.

"Imog—" Her words cut short as her eyes widened, trembling slightly at the sight of the figure staring at her.

Her hand dropped in fear and shock.
