"Mom aren't we going to the downtown today?
My mom looks at me and smiled and said.
"Baby we have to go home early your Dad still need to go to work early tomorrow"
I pouted my lips and felt a little bit disappointed, so I grab my panda stuff toy and hugged It.
I've seen my dad looking at me from the rear mirror while he was driving.
"Elise don't be sad, okay, next week I will try to make it up to you.."
Dad said, he smiled at me and look back on the road. My dad was driving the car while my mom is in the shotgun seat and I was in the back seat.
"Do you want us to buy your favorite pink cotton candy?" Mom said in a sweet tone.
and immediately a smile was flash on my face.
It was so dark outside, I look at the window and it was raining outside it's a little bit scary and there's lightings too in the sky and some loud thunders, but since my mom and dad are here It wasn't that bad. Beside we are used to passed into this road since our home is 30 mins away from the city. Luckily my bus from school was also passing through our neighborhood so mom and dad doesn't have to send and pick me up in my school. We'll I just have to wake up early to catch it.
"Hon, Should we invite more?"-Mom
"Well the numbers are okay now, besides she will met her cousins for the first time.."-Dad
"I just hope they get along well"-Mom
"I think the food is okay"-Dad
"Should we add more on the menu?"-Mom
"Relax Erene, its her 11th birthday, everything will be fine.."-Dad and he holds my mom hands.
"I just keep on thinking I cannot help it, its the first time we're inviting people into our home. Especially your older sister is coming too. You know what happened to us before" -Mom
"It's Okay Hon, who cares on what they think. The only important thing is Elise will be happy on her birthday okay?"-Dad
I heard my mom and dad talking about things I don't much understand maybe they are planning on what will they do for my upcoming birthday. The thought made me so happy.
"Elise baby, would like to have a clown on your birthday?" Mom ask.
"Yes, would the clown give me more gifts! Mom!?? by doing magics tricks??" I excitedly ask..
"Haha maybe" -Mom
"Why are you not afraid of clowns?"
"Clowns like to eat little kids.."
Dad replied and tease me.
He tried to scare me but I just laughed sarcastically.
"Ha-ha-ha no Dad clowns are human too they put on a lot of makeup so they look a bit weird and it's unique and they don't eat kids were not food duh..." I heard mom laughed at me.
"See she's a smarty kid Leo..
She proudly said. And they just laughed together. Dad plays a song on the radio while we are passing a wide dark road with a lot of pine trees on the side of the road. It's help me not to her the loud thunder of the lightings outside. Suddenly a familiar song was played on the radio.
"Wise men said...." dad
"Only fools rush in..." Mom
"But I can't help, falling in love with you..."
Mom and dad sing it together and looks at each other.Their eyes say it's all cheesy hahaha.
The song goes on as we are passing through the quiet road. The rain has stop pouring and there's still lighting and thunder but I cannot hear it because of the song. I was still hugging my panda stuff toy, as they are singing I suddenly felt my eyes becomes more heavy.
I fell asleep, well it's not the first time I heard them singing or maybe their song made me fall asleep.

"ELISE!!!!!!"

I wake up and my head is hurting much. I heard my dad calling my name so I look around.My eyes widened as I saw my dad in the driver's seat and there's blood in his head.
"Dad what happened!??".
I cried out.
"ba--by I'm glad yo-ah! you're okay.."
He's having a problem talking, you can hear him having a hard time talking.
This made me more worried.
"Lis--ten Elise you have to ge--get out of the car okay??" He hurriedly said.
I've seen smoke coming out in front of the car there's also a fire. And I can smell the gasoline everywhere..
"Dad where's mom??" I quickly said as I've noticed mom is not in the car.
I was suddenly nervous at the scenario I saw. I don't know where we are, I just look in front of my father who seems to be running out of breath, and his head is injured.
I immediately removed my seatbelt and got off then I opened the driver seat door.
I look around and we're not in the main road anymore. Instead we're surrounded by big tall trees and there's a thick fog everywhere you look. And it was not raining anymore but there's a loud thunder and lighting.
The wind was cold and howling fast.
"MOMMMMM WHERE ARE YOU!?"
"MOOOMMMMMM"
"MOOMMMM!"
I was crying as Im calling my mom.
But no one responded. So I turn to dad panicking as I've tried to help him.
"Elise stay away from here.." he said again and my father touches my face and he mentioned my name again.
"E--lise go na-now ugh" even though it was hard for him to speak.My tears never stop falling when I saw his bloody body.
"Dad I'll call for help!, I'll help you get out of here!!!" I said as I was trembling in fear and confusion. He just moves his head in a motion that means "no". The fire in front of the car gets bigger. My hands were shaking as I've tried to pull him out of the car because anytime the car might explode.
I tried to pull him out but my body cannot do it as I am just a little child. And his feet are stuck in the broken car! what should I do!?..
"Dad!, please we ha-have to go"
I was crying wildly and my chest is hurting much and it's hard to breathe as the smoke became more thick.
Dad opened his eyes and smiled at me and look at me in the eyes.
"it's okay dar--ling da--dad has to go*ughh* your ma-mom will be back don't wor-ry, al--ways *ah* take care of your---self"
"I love you my sweet daughter"
"No dad stop talking! I will get you out of here"
I hug him and I'm about to try to pull him out again but his head suddenly falls down on my shoulder.
I turn to him and his eyes were closed.
I can feel my heart stop for a moment, my chest breathe slowly, my ears cannot hear anything even the thunder outside I cannot hear them anymore it's like the time has stop for a moment, and I look at my dad and realized one thing on my mind my dad is DEAD.
"DAAAAAAAAAD!!!"
"DAAAAAAAAAAD!!"
I cried wildly and shakes my dads body while I'm crying. The fire in front of the car starting to reach his seat so I tried to pull him out-.
*BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGG!!!*
I felt someone grab me from behind it was very fast and save me from the car exploding. It was so fast that my hand slips away from the hand of my dad. I lost hope as I've seen the fire devouring the car and my dad's lifeless body.
