簡介
The biggest regret of Luo Yunchu's life was walking through the wrong door and sleeping with the wrong man. "Trying to run?" The business tycoon, the empire's most powerful CEO—of course she was running! Did he expect her to just wait around to die? But with a snap of President Bai's fingers, guns were cocked, rifles lined up, and a marriage certificate was thrown at her feet. "Marry me or save your life. Your choice." "...Marriage it is?" Trembling with uncertainty, Luo Yunchu became the young madam of a billionaire household. She thought she had stepped into the grave of matrimony, doomed to a joyless existence—but instead, he devoted himself to spoiling her beyond measure. The biting wind howled outside as the heavy snowfall gradually ceased.

Luo Yunchu lay naked on the bed, her head tilted to the side as she stared blankly through the window at the snow-blanketed world outside. Her long, dark lashes, still damp with unshed tears, fluttered as a single droplet rolled down her flushed cheeks.

She shifted slightly, only to wince as a sharp, throbbing pain shot through her body, nearly causing her to collapse onto the unfamiliar man beside her.

Bathed in the pale moonlight, his chiseled features looked even more striking—his brows relaxed, his thin lips curved into a faint, satisfied smirk, his breathing steady and deep. Clearly, the night’s vigorous activities had left him exhausted.

Luo Yunchu gritted her teeth. If she weren’t so utterly drained, she would’ve kicked him straight off the bed.

This was supposed to be a rare solo mission—yet not only had she failed to apprehend the suspect, but she’d somehow lost her innocence in the process. And of all people, she had to end up with this insatiable beast, who had tossed her around like some kind of stimulant-fueled maniac. If not for her years of rigorous training, she would’ve been completely wrecked.

The memories of last night flashed through her mind, making her face burn with alternating shades of fury and humiliation.

She was never one to back down from a fight. So the moment he had pinned her beneath him, her first instinct had been to flip the tables—literally.

Who ended up on top in the end? She couldn’t even remember. All she recalled was him biting her, and her biting back just as hard. Him tearing at her clothes, and her retaliating with equal ferocity.

With a huff, she snatched her scattered clothes from the floor and dressed herself piece by piece. Once fully clothed, she checked her phone—unsurprisingly, her screen was flooded with notifications.

Her fingers swiped through the messages until one in particular caught her eye: *"Yunchu, get back here ASAP! The suspect cracked under police pressure and turned himself in!"*

*Damn it!*

She cursed inwardly, her mood souring as she shot a glare at the still-sleeping man sprawled across the bed. Then, a wicked idea struck her.

A sly smirk curled her lips as she approached the bedside, yanked the covers down to expose his toned torso, and snapped three quick photos with her phone.

Only then did she allow herself a satisfied grin.

How dare she force herself on him? She'll regret this!

Bai Chen woke up to find his left hand handcuffed to the bedpost, leaving him struggling in vain to sit up for quite some time.

When his patience finally ran out, his eyes darkened with fury. He wriggled upward slightly, reached his right hand into the bedside drawer, and pulled out a black pistol. Without hesitation, he fired a shot straight at his own left wrist!

The silver handcuff instantly snapped free from the bedpost.

The loud *bang* of the gunshot sent Ryan, who had been waiting outside the door, bursting into the room in panic. "Boss!"

At the sight of Bai Chen covered in red marks, Ryan's legs nearly gave out beneath him.

What... what the hell happened here?

Sure, some reckless socialite had drugged the boss last night, but hadn’t he refused to use a woman as an antidote and opted for an ice-cold shower instead? So where did all these marks come from?

Ryan’s mind conjured up the absurd image of Bai Chen biting himself—a sight too ridiculous to imagine.

"Pull the surveillance footage. We’re heading back to the company." The low, icy voice left no room for argument.

Bai Chen picked up his clothes from the floor, dressed swiftly, and after those six coldly uttered words to Ryan, strode out of the hotel without another glance.

That little wildcat from last night had been quite the fiery one.

He had even planned to take responsibility when he woke up—only to find her gone and himself handcuffed to the bed like some criminal.

Fine. If that’s how she wanted to play, she’d better be ready for what came next.
