Camry's POV
Seems like senior year was the most exciting for a lot of students. I could never share the buzz since I was a loner in this huge prison. There was no back story, I wasn't bullied, yet I stayed away from them.
My mother as a druggie who didn't care about anyone but herself, had be a bit wary about making friends. The last time I had a 'friend', she found out about my mom and blabbed about it hence the phrase trust no one, but people were curious.
And my abnormal pink eyes weren't helping. Ask me how and I'll tell you I don't know, these things have always been complimenting my mixed complexion. Humans stare and I can't blame them since I look like a freak.
Walking into the parking lot I could hear piece by piece the conversation topic.
"College!" Which I had no plans of going since my mom used all her and my money to purchase her drugs.
"Boys!" Which I stayed far away from since they were worse than girls.
"Hot new teacher!" Which I will stay away from because they are not a good trend to be associated with.
I let my freakish eyes travel around the yard as I walk at a normal pace. My stomach does a Summersault and I know exactly why.
Tyler Gold.
School's cliche football star, only thing was he didn't really do girls. Well at least I never heard from him or seen him with any other girls, and the hearsays from other people weren't realm factual.
He had dirty blonde hair that was short but still grazed his forehead. Bright blue eyes and I tall, firm muscular build. He was the picture of perfection, yet he still hit everyone with a scowl and I would most likely never get noticed by him because I was plain and ugly.
So I do what others do and dream about him.
Let's get another 9 months of pain over with.
"We need you students to do your hours which mean, participation!"
Collective groans fill the room while I just sit and doodle aimlessly on my book. I had already completed my hours with no entertainment and friends schoolwork was my escape.
The teacher went on and on about the importance of our points before the bell actually rung, I was slow to lift from my seat, the grey joggers feeling a bit tight around my waist so I loosened it a bit before grabbing my bag.
"Ah, Ms. Ioha." I pass the teacher a quick smile, before moving to leave but he frowns and motions me over.
"Sir?" I ask in confusion and he sighs.
"Camry I know you don't do well with other people..."
Group work, I always did by myself, pair work the same, anything involving note than one person, Mr. Path always spared me.
"Mr. Gold needs some help in Chemistry." He gives me a hopeful look but it goes shooting down as I scrunch my face up, my heart rate speeding up for no exact reason and I feel my hands sweat.
"Tyler Gold?" I nearly squeak and he nods. "Absolutely not."
He will eat me alive.
"Sadly it wasn't an offer Ms. Ioha, its either you help him or I erase all your credits and you do them all over again, I will also fail you if he fails." My mouth drops open.
"Blackmail Mr. Path?" I ask I'm disbelief and he shrugs.
"I can't have him kicked off the team for his bad grade, my son loves football."
"This is unbelievable." I scoff pushing my wavy brown hair behind my ear and he smiles.
"I'm guessing that's a yes. Great I'll inform Mr. Gold. Thanks C! I knew I could count on you."
You have got to be kidding me.
