It's only been a week since mom died and dad already packed all my stuff, he wants me to move to his brother's house.

So after a big fight I was sent away to live with my uncle Fil, aunt Filomena and their son Lou. Lou is my cousin and we share the same birthday, peopleeven think we're twins when we are together. We look really alike, the only difference is that he has orange eyes and I have heterochromia, so one eye is orange and the other is black. I'm the only one in the whole family who has black as an eyecolor. No one knows where I have it from, because our alphafamily is known for their orange eyes and red fur when in wolfform.

But enough about my so important family, back to what happening now...

I moved to my cousin's house in the town Tilsemond, where my uncle is the alpha of the Blood Fur Pack.

Once I arrived, after a 12 hour flight, my cousin Lou picked me up at the airport. He was superexcited to see me, because it is almost our 16th birthday. And that means we'll shift for the first time. He couldn't stop talking about it. When we arrived at their house, the pack mansion, I was warmly welcomed by Fil and Filomena. My uncle and aunt were the alpha and luna of the Blood Fur Pack, called by the red fur of all the alphas ever.

My aunt showed me around the whole mansion ,and said where my room was. Once in my room, I felt very tired. So I immiditaily fell asleep for what felt like days...

When I woke up, Lou was jumping excitedly around in my room, because today was our birthday.

Today we would shift for our first time, today a would maybefind my mate, today I might once feel proud about myself.

When I went downstairs everyone was already preparing the ceremonie. No one knew me, but they knew that I was family of the alpha, so they respected me anyway.

My aunt came to me, to help me change and prepare for ghe ceremony. My uncle did the same with Lou.

At around midnight we went outside and Lou and I were sent to the forest. Once in the forest, we needed to remove all our clothes. Because otherwise they would rip. Lou changed very quick into the most bloody red wolf I had ever seen, he really was the next to be big alphawolf. He howled at the moon and left to meet the other packmembers.

I was left all alone, naked and afraid, in the dark forest...
