Elena made her way towards her home.

She was quite joyful today.

Normally, today is her love anniversary with her boyfriend.

Andrew and Elena have been together for two years now and things have been going smoothly for them.

They loved each other and cared for one another.

"Haah! I wonder what Andrew would feel about this". She thought, as she wondered

Andrew's reaction.

"I'm sure he will be happy about this". She muttered as she placed her palms on her belly.

And there was a faint reaction to life .

Yes. She is pregnant.

Ever since a week ago, she has always felt something different within her.

Though she didn't think much about it, she decided to visit the hospital for information .

Today was the day that she visited the hospital and to her surprise , she was pregnant.

Elena smiled as she thought of the event that happened at the hospital.

{Flash back}- at the hospital

Elena made her way towards the doctor's office.

Knock!

She knocked.

Crik!!

The door slowly opens and at the other side a young man in his 30s came into view.

"Ooh! Miss Elena". The man said in surprise.

But almost instantly a smile appeared on his face.

"Long time no see, Miss Elena. What make you visit my humble hospital Miss". The man bowed in respect.

Elena simply smiled and said.

"I'm here for a check-up Mr James". She started.

"Lately, I've been feeling something different within me. Though it's faint but It's still noticeable. ". She continued.

"And it has been so uncomfortable ". She concluded.

The doctor massaged his chin for a moment in his thoughts.

'hmm! It's not difficult to notice it, isn't it? She's pregnant. But I'll have to first confirm my thoughts '. He concluded with his thoughts as he glanced at Elena.

"Miss. You don't have to worry, we'll quickly run a test and confirm what's the matter, so you don't have to worry at all". He said reassuringly.

Elena nodded in understanding and simply waited while Dr. James began the preparation.

After some while of speaking and explaining her class conditions, they quickly ran a test on Elena's situation.

Soon, the result was brought, and Dr. James instantly mentioned her situation.

"Miss Elena, congratulations, you are pregnant". He calmly said.

Meanwhile, Elena's head was spinning wildly.

Pregnant? How?

But soon after, she steadily put her expression together and asked.

"Doctor James, how many months is it?". She asked, trying to confirm her thinking.

Doctor James instantly checked the results and responded.

"No Miss. It's just a week old, not a month yet". He replied professionally.

Elena nodded in understanding as her memory began to come together.

She understood the situation and was somewhat happy that she could finally form her family with the one she loved the most.

"Thank you doctor James for your help. I really appreciate it". She instantly thanked him and readied her self to depart.

Suddenly, doctor James instantly said as she was at the entrance.

"Miss Elena ". He started.

"Please take good care of yourself. The pregnancy is fragile, so avoid overworking and other activities ". He warned.

Elena nodded and simply thanked him

"Yes I understand". And with that, she left.

{Present}

"Huff! All of this is tiring". She thought out loud making the driver to glare at her.

She quickly retorted.

" I wasn't talking about you". She said in a clam tone which made the driver to relax and continues the ride.

The ride continued and eventually, the car directly stopped at their destination - Elena's home.

The house wasn't that huge though, it wasn't like Elena's real Mansion.

But..

For her, it was enough as long as she had her love of her life with her, as long she could stay close to him and spend her time with him.

As far she could depend on him for her worries and stay with him comfortably , it was enough.

She steadily payed the fee and went inside

She walked steadily, but then suddenly she stopped.

"What's that sound". She thought, as she continued hearing the strange sound.

She calmly walked towards the room and saw her boyfriend, and someone

... Someone she remembered.

"Rumi?". She muttered to herself.

Meanwhile, inside the bedroom Andrew and Rumi were kissing passionately

Suddenly, Rumi suddenly broke the silence.

"Well... Andrew, why don't you break up with Elena". She suggested in a disgusted manner.

Andrew just smiled and said.

"Well! I'll sooner or later '. He casually said.

Elena's heart instantly broke.

"Andrewww". She shouted at the top of her voice in both anger and pain.

Andrew instantly turned around and saw Elena at the door front.

"Hey Elena! What are you doing here ". He casually asked.

"Yoouu! Cheater ". She shouted in pain.

Rumi- her best friend casually stood up from the bed and slapped Elena across the face.

"How dare you talk to my 'Man' like that?". She asked in disgust.

Elena in anger looked at Rumi in hatred.

"I. I trusted you. Why do you go to my back and cheated with my boyfriend?". She asked as tears began rolling from her eyes .

Rumi just scoffed.

"Your boyfriend? Ask him for yourself". She casually said pointing towards Andrew.

Elena with her teary eyes looked towards the one she loved, the one she cared about.

"Andrew". She called towards him.

Andrew just smiled and said.

"I loved Rumi for a very long time, and you? I saw you as a plaything". He casually said.

Elena instantly broke into tears.

"But I I love you! I've always cared for you". She said.

"Love? Come on ! Open your eyes. I've never loved you. I've never cared for you". He said.

"Like I said, I saw you as a plaything". He said.

Elena instantly broke into despair, her heart shattering every seconds.

Her eyesight began to blur bit by bit

"But... I'm...pregnant ". She said in a slow tone.

Instantly, Rumi's eyes darken.

"You think, you can tell that stupid lie of yours. I know you Elena, I'm your best friend since highschool, and I know your character, you poor puper ". She said and started beating her with a mop stick.

"Stop.. stop ". She shouted in pain.

But Rumi didn't but continued beating her with a mop stick.

Slowly but surely

Her eyesight began to blur until finally she passed out.

But before she passed her, she swore that if anything happen to her unborn child, she will avenge its death
