The Genesis

People were gathered around, celebrating the coming new moon festival, which would be tonight. When the moon is full and shiny, with the night very dark, darker than it has always been, a horrific night. This only happens once in a month, and that day is always called 'the new moon' of every month.

This was their culture, and it has been celebrated by all the werewolves packs who have someone leading them, someone called their Alpha. In general, it's being celebrated by the werewolf kingdom as a whole. They all travelled down from all their packs, taking along their family, as they come together in the werewolf king's Kingdom to celebrate for the rising of the moon.

During this night, some werewolves were always fortune to meet their soulmate. I mean those who are unmated or those whose mate is dead and are being given what we call a second chance mate whom they would fall in love with just like they did to their first mate but. It takes a gigantic power to have a second chance mate and make them forget about their first love.

This is the reason people don't really part to have a second chance mate because the second chance mate would surely go through different mental break down and different unstable emotions which they might battle with until the end of their lives and sporadically, they get lucky to get and understanding second chance mate

Someone who wouldn't drive them, but they when they began to compare them to their first love or whenever they have high and gigantic expectations from them. Just like their dead or first love usually treat them or make them feel special among others. But if the second chance mate is not understanding, he or she could make him or her remember the horrible nightmare of what happened to their first love which made them this miserable.

And sporadically, it's not always death that do take away their first love from them. It can be rejection or a mistake which came from them, but mostly, it's always death that do rip off their first love from them. It might not be natural death, it might be due to war, especially a warrior watching as his beloved mate life is being ripped out of her forcefully.

Such warrior would never be the same because he would always remember it no matter how hard or what happens in the nearest future. Although, he only gets to have second chance mate if he does not lose concentration and get sweep off by war as well.

Dying with once mate, they say they would surely meet in the afterlife and would be able to keep each other safe from things that could be of harm to their relationship. Such as war, illness or natural disasters or death which would just come in anytime without informing anyone but take away what it can't give life to. Death is no respecter of anyone, regardless of who you are or what you are, it just comes like who cares pretending not to be death but, take what it comes for without being hindered.

This is the main reason you can't see the middle-class or poor people of the society talk about having second chance mate, it's either they die with their first mate or die after them to keep off the stress of ever having to please another woman or man aside the one whom they have been together for so long.

But as for the high class

chiefs

in the society, they can go around to have even extra woman for then aside their first mate or first love. Be is she is alive or not. This is the reason second chance mate is really common among them because they use money, wealth, and position to settle everything when it comes to their household unlike the poor man who has nothing.

Same as the Alphas, they have their Luna, and yet, they still seek another woman of comfort for themselves, someone they can rest their chest and soul on because they believe do not trust your queen, she might end up stabbing you Sam as your concubine.

But it's preferable to have the concubine sin against the Alpha rather than having the Luna herself, the queen, sin against the Alpha. It's only going to make everything complicated because Alpha's are not to show their emotions, and they are to uphold justice, no matter what options are laid down or who sin against the society even if it's his crown prince, he would have to punish him as well.

By punishing once mate, the wolf bonds would be hot that moment and threatening to get out of control,, especially the make wolf in them wouldn't want to watch his wife all beaten up just because she offended him.

This is the main reason why concubines are allowed in between the high status of the society and community household, same as the Alpha himself. Even if the Luna dies, he can easily get over it cause there would be someone in between the concubine he has that would be trustworthy enough to make his queen an if there's none, he can always step out to see if he would be mated with anyone, especially during the full moon Which could also be called the red moon.

But red moon only happens after eleven different full moons signifying that it is a New year already which everyone gets to celebrate it with their packs alone cause during this night, werewolves are not always their self. In order to save the Alphas, the issue of explaining the reason two people from different pack fought or why a place in their kingdom is being damage knowing the full strength of a werewolf would be given to them that moment.

But back to the new moon, people only get to meet the once they haven't met and different people who they have been longing to meet.

As people gather around because it's in the evening and the night would soon come up, some ran out of the forest and began to scream fire just like that, people began to run Helter skelter. It's the drum sound of war that came to pay them a visit... TBC
