"My precious child, why did you have to do this to me?" a woman cried out, she was sitting beside Rionna on the bed.

Rionna Zane felt a huge pain when she heard the voice, her head was pounding like someone was hitting it.

However, when she opened her eyes a little, she saw that she was surrounded by a group of werewolves who obviously came from another unfamiliar pack. She quickly closed her eyes again in shock. She was afraid that they might kill her and that she has probably wonder there unknowingly.

‘Oh my, where I am? Who’re they?’ Thinking about this seems to give her more pain in her head as her heart beats fast in her chest

As she was still pondering on it, her wolf Agnes explained to her, ‘Rio, we are no more in the human realm again we have been transferred to the wolf realm where there is no human to hide from, and you don't need to fear you are with your new family,’

‘What! How did that happen?’ Rionna asked her wolf inside as she opens her eyes again to look around at the people standing by her bedside before closing them again

‘Your werewolf’s identity was revealed so you have been sent to the wolf realm and your soul also has been transferred to that of Rionna Zane in this realm, she tried to kill herself because her father asked her to marry a cripple, so she could have opposed it.’ Agnes continued while pointing at the elderly woman crying, ‘There, that woman crying over there, is now your mother.’

Hearing the woman crying because of her warns her heart. “Mum?” Rionna murmured.

"Oh Rio, my child, you finally woke up! Do you know you almost gave me a heart attack? Please don't do this to me again," the woman said as she held her hand pleading with her.

Rionna opened her eyes once again. Looking at the woman, Rionna was moved no one has ever shown her such kindness before. In her past life, she was an orphan who was treated badly because she has no parents to protect her.

“I- I am sorry Mum, I won’t do this again,” Rionna promised, tears walled up in her eyes as she look at the woman who was going to be her mother from now on.

"I know you were not in love with Carter Evan and didn't want to mate with him so you committed suicide, but you are the Beta's daughter of this pack, you must accept it for the pack, my child."

Before Rionna was immersed in her memory in Pack Mix, an elder man approached her and slapped her, "You shameless, how dare you seduce your sister’s mate? Have you no shame, uh? Why must you put us through so much trouble and shame in this family all the time?"

‘Who is this man that just hit me? Why is he hitting me?’ Rionna asked Agnes in her mind.

‘He is your father, Beta Zane. He is angry because everyone was going to mock him for what you did,’ Agnes explains to her.

Thinking about it, Rionna felt her father was a mean man and she doesn't think she was going to have a good relationship with him.

“I just gain consciousness and you didn't even pity me," Rionna looked at her supposed father, and tears ran down her face.

He did consider that there were other people in the room, and he has to disgrace her, how can her father not understand that she was not interested in mating with a cripple, how can a father wish her daughter to have a mate like that?

Rionna was very confused and wondered if this is what it met to belong to a family. This was her first time being part of a family and everything seemed to look strange to her as she has lived her past life, as an orphan without a family. The excitement of having a family doesn't seem to appeal to her again.

"Leave my daughter alone, please she just recovered, I almost lost her because of you, must you insist she marries Carter?" Rionna's mother scolded her father, and this made Rionna fall in love with her mother the more.

"Have pity on her, she just survived death now, Beta Zane,"

"Please, forgive her, she is still young, and she will change her ways as she advances in age,"

"Why hit her, she is still weak, must you be so struck all the time,"

"You know she was born weak, if you hit her much, she would die,"

"Yes, don't hit her, please,"

Other pack members persuaded Rionna’s dad not to hit her because she just survived and she was very weak.

"She has been using that to deceive everyone, what an insolent child," Zane was pissed off. before he did anything bad to Rionna again, a man in a wheelchair showed up.

"You are alive?" he said to her, without surprise or cheer.

Rionna could not speak because she was amazed at the appearance of the man standing before her. ‘Who might this man be, another member of the family,’ Rionna asked Agnes.

‘That is your supposed mate, Carter Evan, that you were mated to,’ Agnes explained to her.

‘You mean this was the handsome guy she rejected? Geez, what a pity that he’s a cripple!’ Rionna said with pity.
