Acton was cool that night, the sky had darkened and the stars were shining very bright. The wind was calm and it carried a unique smell of flowers. The moon which had succesfully arrived gave light to the whole of london.
Screams could be heard from a large room "Adam!" She called, "don't leave me please."
She whispered,gasped and woke up, taking in the familiar surrounding of her room. She reached up her hand and felt her eyes, felt the moisture and she chuckled, hating herself. "Is anything worth tears?" she asked herself.
She felt someone enter her room and she looked up.
"Uno?''
Her dad walked towards her "laura is it a nightmare?"
She slightly nodded, stood up, and left the room, leaving her father standing somewhat uncertainly in the room.
She needed to take a walk, needed to clear her head, to be one once again with the night.
She inhaled the scent of the forest as she steped out of the safe house. It was not full moon yet so howls could not be heard. She walked further into the forest not caring about anything.
Laura wanted the wind to take her worries away. Her blue eyes were bright and brillant. The breeze swept her blond hair to her face and she swept it away. She leaned against a tree and closed her eyes to understand everything around her.
She could hear the little ants walking miles away. The chirping of the birds so loud, she could feel the little flowers blooming. 'Nature' she thought always had a way of making her forget reality for a while.
She opened her beautiful eyes, regaining her stance as she walked back to the the safehouse. Everything around her was clear. The mammals giving birth far away, the happiness of birds. She was connected to nature.
She knew her father would send people to guard her from a distance. She could hear the rhythm of their breath. She sighed and went inside.
"Laura" her father called, and smiling now, she walked to meet him.
He was sitting on the couch with a newspaper on his hands. Laura sat down on the couch and he lowered the newspaper and went straight to the point. " we are leaving the safe house at dawn. Full moon is in 7 days" he said. We have to prepare for war. "Uno is it against the blood moon clan?" laura asked.
Her father nodded slightly and she sighed. Her father who was the Alpha of their white moon clan had always protected his members. Her father was her role model. Ever since her childhood, her father had always protected her and trained her to be a strong leader after him. She had been trained since a young age how to rule and be strong. She has passed every test she was put to. "Laura?" Her father called "did you hear what i just said?" He asked. She smiled and nodded then she headed to her room to take a quick nap before dawn. She laid on her bed and let sleep take her away from this cruel world.
