She was walking along the streets with a stack of books in her arms when suddenly she bumped into someone.

" I am sorry", both voices were heard simultaneously as they started to pack the books together as their heads collided. There was an awkward silence for a minute.

" It's alright", a female voice was heard.

She raised her head and looked into his eyes. It felt like she was under a charm. Both were lost in each other's gaze.

"By the way, I'm Skyler Qin, most people call me Kai, nice to meet you", he said immediately she averted her gaze away from him.

"I'm Lily, Lily Chen, nice to meet you too", she said in a shy tone.

"I am sorry but I have to leave", she said as she walked away, her hair swaying with the slightly chilly wind.

"It's cold, why isn't she wearing anything", Skyler frowned slightly, realizing how weird he sounded.

It wasn't like she was his responsibility or baby sitter, so why would he be worried abut her.

When she left, Skyler felt his heart beat as if he has gone for a 100 metre race. He had never had this feeling before. He had the urge to call her back but he couldn't. Even if he did, she would only see him as a crazy person who was stalking her.

He was on his way to uni today and he had already bumped into two people today, one was with his motorbike which he didn't really pay attention to and the other was when he was just strolling outside campus. Afterall, no one knew which family he came from, because, he simply didn't appear for family events.

They were boring and annoying, who would want to go there except brainless socialites who would like to sell their sons and daughters to the media in exchange for money.

By the way, hhat the heck was wrong with him and bumping into strangers today?

Was today an auspicious day or something?

And why did his heart race? Why could he not stop himself from looking into her eyes?

When he asked himself these questions, he realized and said, "Shit. Don't tell me I have fallen in love?

Lily went to college. She could not concentrate on her studies when his face popped up in her mind all of a sudden. She smiled unconsciously. Her friend, Lacy spotted her smiling and she walked up to her desk. She asked" I see you are thinking of someone. May I ask who that person is?".

" Someone I saw on the streets", she replied.

"If that person is a 'he', then I tell you, he will be the one who will make you happy all your life", Lacy concluded.

"Don't just make a conclusion, Lacy", she retaliated in a cool tone.

"Besides I don't even know him and I don't want to rush into anything", she continued.

"Well, I won't pester you too much, just think about it sweetheart", Lacy said as she walked away.

Then she couldn't help but think," Why did I smile when I thought of him".

"Maybe, dear Lily, it's love at first sight"

"O C'mon, that's too cliché. I don't wanna have a boring life like that when Cinderella's already dead now.

The two best friends accompanied each other to the cafeteria.

"So, whatcha think, does he look like the typical uni nerd?"

"Of course not, he has this bad boy vibe around him"

"Ooh, this calls for a new novel. How about this title , "Stuck with You" or maybe "Fated" or maybe, "Grudge"", Lily's best friend always seemed enthusiastic when talking about her novels and creative ideas.

"Wait, wait, I could just add in a synopsis like this. An underground bad boy falls for a shy nerd who can only solve math equations. They fall in love at first sight and lived happily ever after."

"Aren't you expecting a lot too much form our story?", Lili didn't notice her subconscious actions of claiming ownership of her position by her husband.

Their love story began in a very cliche way. Love at first sight. Or more like Interest at first sight.
