Introduction
Lydia, a science and medicine prodigy, is reborn into the body of a girl with the same name following a lab explosion. As she gains access to the namesake's memories, Lydia learns about the girl's tragic life, including a mother who never cared for her, a disappeared father, and a stepfather who treated her like a servant. Her half-brother even pushed her into a river, which Lydia suspects led to her death. Grateful for a second chance at life, Lydia is determined to seek revenge for her namesake and live her new life to the fullest. However, she never expected to find support from a handsome and dependable man along the way. "Why are you being so kind to me? I owe you so much!" Lydia asks him. "Don't mention it. That's what suitors do," Marco responds.

"M-Madam, she seems to die. Should we take her to the hospital?"

"What hospital? Declan pushed her, and he was only ten years old! Do you want to send him to jail?"

"Her father is already dead, and no one will care about her life! Bury her alive!"

"Can we really do that? What if we get caught in the future?" the other nhesitated.

"What's there to fear? I'm her mother! I gave birth to her! Her fate is up to me!"

Lydia John gradually regained her mind.

She overheard a conversation between two women.

Fighting to open her eyes, she was momentarily blinded by the harsh light.

When her vision adjusted, she weakly surveyed the unfamiliar surroundings and the faces of strangers.

What in the world was going on?

She was a teenage prodigy, hailed as a genius in technology and medicine, developed by a laboratory from another world. How on earth could she have ended up here?

Her last memory was of the laboratory exploding...

She had reborn?

As the idea took root in her mind, the original owner's memories flooded in.

The girl's name was also Lydia John, and she had a tragic past.

After Lydia's biological father disappeared, her mother, Heidi Boyer, the woman shouting to bury her, abandoned Lydia in the countryside and moved to the city to marry a wealthy man.

There, she formed a new family.

Heidi gave birth to a half-brother, Declan Cox, for Lydia, who pushed her into a pond, causing her to contract a high fever that led to her untimely death.

Lydia lived with her grandfather until he passed away six months ago, and before he died, he managed to find Heidi for her, fearing that she would be left alone after he died.

Being a wealthy and influential lady, Heidi could not neglect her daughter, or else she would be the talk of the town. Thus, she went to the countryside to bring Lydia back with her.

Behind her public image as a loving and devoted mother, however, Heidi never gave Lydia a single shred of kindness at home.

Besides, it was because of Heidi's leniency towards Declan that he dared to push Lydia into the water. If that wasn't enough, he even resorted to physically assaulting her during her high fever.

Lydia let out a cold hum as she absorbed all the memories.

In front of her, Heidi and the nanny snapped out of their shock, their pale faces gradually regaining warmth.

Heidi frowned. "Y-Your fever is gone?"

Lydia lifted her gaze at her, her eyes full of disdain. "Of course, if I didn't recover, would you and your son have continued to plot against me?"

Heidi's face immediately turned sour. "What are you talking about? You wanted to play in the pool and even wanted to splash dirty water on your brother!"

"Declan found you drowning and immediately ran home to call for help. You are slandering him. Are you even worthy of being his sister?"

Lydia sneered. "No wonder Declan is a little beast. He has a mother like you! Sorry to say, unlike you both, I'm a human. As for being his sister? He is not worthy!"

"You!" Heidi couldn't stand when someone insulted her precious son. She raised her hand and was about to slap Lydia's face.

Lydia's beautiful eyes grew cold as she lifted her foot and kicked Heidi hard in the abdomen!

Heidi was thrown half a meter away and fell to the ground, grimacing in pain. "How dare you hit me?!"

"Hitting you is doing justice and is morally right!"

Lydia got off the bed and walked past Heidi, looking at her contemptuously like she was looking at garbage. She lifted her foot and kicked her in the shoulder, pushing her aside. "Don't block the way. You're bad luck."
