Westmead Hospital.

Dr. Elisa White rushed to the floor where her office was located. The fight outside her office caught her off guard late at night.

At that moment, nearly ten guys, all of whom were big men, were standing in the spacious hospital hallway.

They were all dressed in black suits and sunglasses, and their attitudes were tight as if they were confronting enemies.

When the nurses and doctors on duty saw her approaching, they exhaled a sigh of relief and almost cried. "Dr. Elisa, you've arrived."

Elisa nodded at them, looked along the corridor, and added, "Please wait outside in the waiting room first. The environment is too noisy, which would interfere with the work of the medical staff."

The doctor entered the room.

As soon as she stepped in, she noticed a mess all over the place. Plants in pots, books, pencils, papers, and glasses were all in disarray. There were several tea and coffee stains on the floor as well.

The only thing that was nice and clean was the tiny sofa.

A young child was sitting on the little sofa, his back was facing her.

Elisa no longer had to find out how messy her room had become.

Her heart surged with anger, and she planned to teach that child a lesson.

But at the thought of the people in the suit, she immediately corrected her expression and gently asked, "Hi, what is your name? What is the matter with you?"

The child slowly turned his head when she heard the sound.

Elisa was taken aback by the tenderness of the child's face.

An inexplicable feeling of kindness suddenly rose from her heart and washed away her anger. The child simply looked at her and did not say anything.

A pair of dark and brilliant eyes emitted blazing light, like two crystal grapes.

She took a glance at the child and observed that his fleshy little hand was making a fist on his tummy.

Dr. Elisa gave the sweetest grin. "I do not have the ability to read your thoughts. I can't tell what is wrong with you based on your expression. If you do not want to talk, could you please show me where you are uncomfortable?"

Elisa finished the discussion and smiled at him. The child stared at her in the eyes.

The office was deafeningly quiet.

When Elisa believed he would not answer, the child put out his fleshy little hand and pointed to his tummy.

She gently massaged his belly twice through his fitted clothing. "Does your tummy hurt?"

The child gazed at Elisa White for a moment, then at her hand on his tummy as if it were an afterthought, and slowly nodded.

She stepped up, picked him up with both hands, and since the child did not struggle, she carried him to the office bed for a thorough examination.

The child was surprised by her unexpected action and stood there for a few moments until she took him into her arms.

His beautiful and sensitive tiny face was expressionless.

The housekeeper at the room door probed and was taken aback to see the young master in Dr. Elisa White's arms.

The family's young master had never been close to anyone except for the young master, William Brich.

Even after five years of caring for the young master, he had not had the opportunity to become close to him.

In an empty parking lot, a beautiful new Maserati was parked, and the housekeeper welcomed him promptly. "Young master."

It was not much till the man stepped down from the driver's seat with his exquisite face and extraordinary clothes.

His beautiful lines squeezed strongly, dissatisfied.

"Where is Bruce?" William coldly asked.

"With Dr. Elisa's care, the young master has fallen asleep."

William asked, "Doctor Elisa?"

"That's a doctor from the hospital. When she hugged the young master, he did not reject her." The housekeeper said a little excitedly.

William somewhat frowned and speeded up.

The housekeeper escorted him to Elisa White's office.

William took a stop-off motion as he reached the floor where the office of Dr. Elisa White was located.

The housekeeper was silent.

William stepped out of the front door and clearly noticed the scene at the office.

Suddenly, his eyes blinked.

Bruce slept out in the office, where two heads were pressed against each other.

Bruce was leaning on Elisa White's arms like a delicate doll, and there was no restlessness in his delicate little face.

The face of Elisa White was seen by William. The eyes shone with a fleeting surprise.

Elisa had always had a shallow sleep, and when she became aware that someone was watching her, she woke up instantly.

She was shocked when she saw the man before her.

Elisa opened her eyes and saw that Mr. William Brich was still standing there.

Elisa White was familiar with him, not just because she was more interested in finance and journalism than in anything else.

Every day, the nurses and physicians at the hospital refer to him as "William Brich," and some of them could not wait for the day when they may consider him a masculine idol.

She was completely confused by it.

Those remarks, said by Mr. William Brich, in a way, symbolized the riches and prestige enjoyed by those at the top of the Australian corporate ladder. When the Brich family's power in Australia was taken into consideration, if the family stomped their feet, Australia would tremble as a result.

Bruce appeared to be aware of the doctor's feelings as she slowly turned around to wake up, his face was a little confused by what he was seeing.

When Bruce came upon William, he reached out with a set of chubby tiny arms to embrace him.

He was embraced by William as he reached out. "Does your stomach feel comfortable?"

In silence, Bruce snuggled his small head into the neck of his father, William, and slept peacefully.

Bruce's back was stroked by the big hand of his father.

Elisa's eyes were like obsidian, and they lingered on her face.

She woke up, coughed, and said, "Sadly, my pharmacist colleagues aren't working today and can't provide any medication. You can go home tonight and watch his situation at home, and he will feel better the following day. I'll write you a prescription for some medication."

William nodded slightly, as if responding. He then walked away without looking back.

Elisa rolled her eyes at the empty office. What's so great about having some money? What's the big deal about it? She thought to herself.

She went home to sleep after turning off the office lights.

_ _ _

The following day.

The phone rang on her desk in the midst of the day. Elisa picked up the receiver.

"Hello, this is Elisa White from Westmead Hospital."

There was no sound on the other end of the phone.

She blinked, her face flushed with perplexity. She wanted to hang up.

Before she was able to hang up, she noticed two faint tapping sounds.

Elisa White paused to hang up the phone and then placed the phone in her ear once more.

That time, on the other end of the phone, she could hear light breathing, as if it were coming from a child.

As soon as Elisa remembered the kid, she could not help but soften her tone. The doctor said, "Are you the little patient that came to see me last night?"

On the other end of the phone, there was a quiet thump.

"Does your tummy still feel uncomfortable?"

There were two tapping sounds that time around.

Elisa's lips twitched slightly as she thought about Bruce's father, and all of the warmth in her voice faded away completely.

"Now that you're feeling better, you should not have to go to the hospital as often."

There was another knock on the phone.
