"Miss Gu, this is my pregnant test report. It's been positive for two months."

In the cafe, Gu Qingcheng sat on a sofa and observed the frail and unfortunate woman across from her.

She took the document and looked through it. The bottom part of the report was appropriately marked with the word "positive."

After glancing at the woman, Gu Qingcheng took out a check from the bag without hesitation. "This check is worth two million yuan. You have two choices now. The first option is to have an abortion and the money is yours. The second option is to give birth to the baby and become the mistress of Mr. Jiang. You can get a decent amount of support every month."

The woman became anxious after hearing this, "What do you mean? Who do you think I am?! Don't forget that this is Jiang Shaohong's child. Do you think I will not show up with this pregnant belly of mine and cause some trouble to the Jiang family?"

Gu Qingcheng took a sip of coffee and kept her professional smile, "I believe you. However, Mr. Jiang has dated countless women, some of whom are pregnant. I am afraid you will still have to wait for your turn."

"You..." She knew that Gu Qingcheng was telling the truth. She was furious, but there was nothing she could do.

Gu Qingcheng was calm and was ready to take back the check, "Since you are so high-profile, then forget it."

"Wait a minute!" The woman stood up and grabbed the check from her hand. "I did not recall telling you that I am not keeping the check, right? Jiang Shaohong is a jerk, aborting his child does not mean anything to me!"

She picked up the Chanel purse that was next to her as she talked, then walked away in "righteousness."

This was completely within Gu Qingcheng's expectations. She leaned on the soft chair and watched the woman's figure as it slowly disappeared.

She lost count of how many women Jiang Shaohong dated. It would take her more than half a month to settle his love affairs.

Why in the world would she even agree to be his secretary in the first place?

She decided to apply for a raise.

Otherwise, it would not be fair.

After resting for a while in the cafe, Gu Qingcheng went to the counter to make a payment. She walked out of the cafe and down the street. There was a shopping mall nearby, so calling for a car would not be difficult.

She was wearing a professional suit, a hip-wrapped skirt and, her long legs were straight and slender.

When she reached out to stop the car, the hair on her temples was blown away by the wind from time to time. She habitually raised her hand to tuck her hair behind her ears.

"Sir, am I mistaken? Why does that person looks like Mis..."

Outside the mall parked a black Rolls-Royce. The driver saw Gu Qingcheng at the crossroad at a glance. The driver could not say ’tress' out of fear.

"It seems to be really Miss Gu..."

After the driver mentioned "Miss Gu", Shao Ze stopped typing on his computer keyboard and raised his head subconsciously.

However, a taxi happened to stop in front of Gu Qingcheng. She opened the door, bent down, and got in. He could only catch a vague side view.

It looked a bit like her.

Three years! It had been three years since she had left Tong City. He could still clearly recall her parting words to him at the airport.

"I will never return to this city anymore. Take care."

A picture of that rainy night emerged. The 30-year-old man was preoccupied with his thoughts. His serious visage was highlighted by the tailored black suit as he sat silently in the back seat. He had a reserved, frigid demeanor.

He might have mistaken her for someone else.

"Sir, do you want me to catch up with the taxi?" The driver saw Shao Ze's expression through the rearview mirror and knew that he should be thinking about the past...
