Ugh. My morning alarm wakes me up at 7am, knowing I have school in an hour...

Yesterday, we arrived at the Red Lake pack, as my dad & mum was hired to help the future warriors of this pack, of course, my mother and father had trained me from when I started to walk, so I'm good, but I was forced to do training after school. Fine with me, I can kick some asses later if they even dream about making my first day hell.

I'm 16, I turn 17 next year, so as for now, I haven't met my ''destined mate'', and I don't want too.. I have some temper and anger issues, I swear it's because I'm a redhead, like naturally, not the box dye red the fakes use, even my beautiful wolf is the color of fire. I love her.

''Honey, Breakfast & school''. My mother shouts up at me.

I get a quick shower, throw on some faded blue ripped jeans, a t-shirt and denim jacket with my white hi-top trainers, I throw my hair into a side braid, grab my bag and off to school I go..

Driving to school, I park up, ignore the stares and try find my first class.

Looking around lost, I run into someone.

''Sorry, I'm lost''. I mumble.

I saw a petite, blonde girl smiling at me, my wolf immediately stood to attention, clearly aware of my issues.

''Hi, I'm Ellie, do you need me to help you around''? My wolf calmed down and inside my head got a message of ''she's not a threat, she's okay''

Instantly I calmed down.

''HI, I'm Sapphire, and yes please! I'm new here''.

She takes my paper and looks over it.

''Well, good news is, you're with me most of the day, bad news the rest of the classes you are stuck with my two annoying friends, Josh and Jake''. She lets out a laugh.

Speaking of the devils they turn up.

''Hey Ells, who's the newbie''.

''Jake, be nice, this is my new friend Sapphire, and now your friend''.

They both nod and I think I have new friends.

We agree to meet up with the boys after lessons for break and lunch because me and Ellie are together until lunch.

Classes went ok, myself and Ellie chatted while we could, and I found myself liking her, she could be my friend.

On my way to my classes though I felt someone staring at me putting me in an anxious state, but I put it down to being the ''new girl''. I got a few death stares from girls, but shook that off, maybe it's because I wasn't wearing a face full of make up and clothes that barely covered anything.

The guys joined us at a table for lunch, and the banter started, it was only my first day but I already loved these guys.

''So guys, Do I make the bff club or not?'' smirking at them..

They raised their eyebrows and burst out laughing and then I knew I was in.

Jake threw his arms around me and said ''Yep, Firecracker, you're in!''

I laughed at the nickname but I liked it.

Jake looked around the room, then back at me puzzled.

I punched him in the arm. ''Yo buttnugget, whatcha staring at''?

He winced, and punched me back, I laughed it off and called him a girl for his punch.

''I think Sapphire has a secret admirer, but not so secret part''.

I looked around puzzled, then allowing Josh to speak.

''Firecracker, that's Jackson, the future Alpha, he seems quiet taken with you, he hasn't taken his eyes off you''.

I shook my head.

''Alright you two cheerleaders, I'm not interested in him or his little squad giving me death stares, eat up girlies, then we can head out into the sun for a bit''.

So, our lunch hour consisted of laughing, talking, and punching. I love these guys, they are so fun.

I walked with Josh and Jake to my next class after hugging Ellie.

We all had our arms linked with me in the middle. I found somewhere for all 3 of us to sit.

Then I felt a strong presence. Jackson I'm guessing, you could practically smell the amount of perfume the stupid girls starting throwing over themselves.

All I heard was the word MOVE. I looked up to notice he was talking to Josh.

''Josh sit yo damn ass down boy'' I said.

Josh did.

Then I looked up at Jackson and said..

''Who the hell do you think you are, he sits next to me, learn some damn manners''.

He just smiled and sat at the table in front of us.

Josh nudged me..

''You've just disrespected the Alpha and he did nothing''. Smirks played on Josh's face.

''I don't care if he was the Prince of the world, no-one talks to my friends like that, Alpha or not, dude needs to learn some damn manners''. I said it loud enough so he'd hear me. Josh hi-fived me and I heard some dark chuckling coming from the front.

Alpha or not, I won't take crap from no-one.
