I can officially say this is the worst day of my life,I have been sitting at the airport for two hours waiting for my dad to come pick me,his number has been switched off .I have been trying to order an Uber but it just keeps cancelling.i sat down at the waiting area as I watched people rushing to leave it was going to rain soon ,there was no one I could call mum was very sick and all my friends were still in Paris I had to come back to help in taking care of my mum .

I couldn't help the tears that was threatening to rush down my eyes i have never found myself in these kind of helpless situation before.i quickly stood up to use the bathroom and clean my smeared makeup . I just finished cleaning my face and was about to go outside when someone opened the door and bumped into me he seems to be in a hurry to use the toilet but was he dumb didn't he notice this was the lady's toilet and he was not allowed to be here .

"Excuse me but it seems you lack manners and you are also very dumb"I said throwing him my most dirtiest look . he just ignored me and tried to open one of the toilet doors I immediately stopped him . "This is the lady's toilet and you are not allowed to be here, am going to call the securities on you" I said as I made my way out .I think you are the dumb one he said before entering into the toilet completely. I could not believe this he was just too arrogant and disrespectful I am definitely going to call the securities so they could embarrass him out of there, I walked down the hallway to where my luggage was when I met an older security man he was directing a beautiful woman probably in her fifties to the toilet I quickly approach him "excuse me mr I think there is man in the lady's bathroom I told him to leave but he wouldn't listen to me "I said as the man told me a quick thank you and went down the hallway that leads to the bathroom. I immediately followed him along with the woman, we got to the toilet but he went to the next one and knocked on the door.well he seems to not know which one was meant for the female so I decided to help him "sir you have the wrong toilet he is in the first one " I said pointing towards the first door we just passed. He looked at me as if I was a confused person "that one is male toilet dear " he said and the woman started laughing. I was so embarrassed I told him a quick sorry and started walking away when I heard the toilet open and Mr arrogant was staring at me with a smirk on his face "well I guess you are very dumb and stupid since you decided to use the male toilet instead of the female one " he said as he walked past me to the woman and they left while she kept scolding him about how long he took in the bathroom. I stood there completely shocked and angry ,did this man just insult because of a little mistake I made, maybe I had insulted him first but that was just a misunderstanding right, he could have just told me I was in the wrong toilet the first time I met him at the toilet ,he was just an egoistic fool I concluded before I walked to where my luggage was. It was already drizzling and it might start raining anytime soon I guess I was going to sleep here then , this was literally the worst day of my life. I was stucked at the airport,I can't reach my parents and now I have been insulted by that arrogant man. I looked at my phone to see if I got any call but there was none and my battery is already low I was so frustrated I wanted to cry again,when I felt a light touch on my shoulder, it was the woman who had followed us to the bathroom, am assuming she is Mr arrogant' s mother was she here to scold me I don't want any more trouble today I already had enough .she smiled at me and I was more than confused am sure her son must have told her how I had insulted him why was she smiling at me now."are you okay dear"she asked with a little frown on her face I wanted to say yes but maybe she could help me get home ,I immediately shook my head indicating a no,she immediately asked me what happened and explained to her that I couldn't get through to my dad and for some reason I can't order an Uber and now my phone was dead ,I really wanted to cry at this point . "You can join our car I just can't leave you here it going to rain heavily "she said with a worried expression,I can't join her she was a total stranger and am sure her son would not even like the idea, I quickly shook my head "it ok ma I'd just wait am sure your son would not like the idea "I said trying to force a smile at her "it ok he would never dare to disobey me am his mom "she said with a lot of pride, I couldn't help but smile at her ."bring your luggage I'd make sure he drops you at home"she said as she helped me with one if my three bags she was so humble and beautiful at the same time .

She helped me arranged my bag at the back of the car and then we went inside the.

"What's your name dear "she asked as we sat at the back of the car, Amber I said with a little smile which she returned "am Alice, Alice miller " she said with a beautiful smile."nice to meet you Alice and thank you so much I said which she just nodded.

The rest of the ride was fun we chatted about little girls things and she even gave me her card so we could meet up for lunch some other time, Mr arrogant kept driving with a hard face he didn't even smile with all the jokes we had cracked,well maybe he was still angry .

"What job does your parents do "Alice asked me, "my dad is a business man and my mum own a fashion house" I answered with a wide smile, she looked at me with a surprised face"if your dad is a business man then I must know him what's your father's name " she asked with a lot of interest, Donald Matthews ,I said as her eye open widely "so you are don Matthews only child"she said and I nodded at her that seems to get her son's interest as he look back to get a glance at me before he kept driving .

Alice kept on talking about how my father was friends with them and they were also business partner I was so excited about that at least she was not a total stranger. I never met any of my dad's business partners before I just never cared about what happened in the company I want to be a chef so if I was not hanging out with my friends I was always in the kitchen trying whatever new recipe i learned that was pretty much how my life went .we came to a halt in front of a very beautiful villa or would I rather say a mansion they were lots of maids outside waiting for alice.some of them helped in bringing out her luggage while two where holding her hand bag and an umbrella for her she turned around to me and wave me a goodbye before she told her son to take me home, even though he kept complaining that he had something to do and he was going to call the driver to take me home but she still insisted, well she was right when she said he could never disobey her because he started the car and I gave him my address ******

Thirty minutes later he was in front of my house and he couldn't even wait to kick me out of his car well I didn't want to be here either I got down and took my luggage and told him thank you but he just looked away and then said "I wish I never have to see you again" I also don't want to see you Mr arrogant, I yelled to his face "it Edwards miller not Mr arrogant " with that he drove off and I went inside ,the whole house seems to be empty there was no one around so I went straight to mum's room I met Mrs Jane there helping mum with her medications I quickly went and gave her a hug and then spend sometime with her before retiring to my room for the night . This was one hectic day I hope I don't have to experience in my life again I wanted to wait for dad so I could tell him how angry I was but I had to save It all for tomorrow, I thought as I fell asleep.
