Chloe's POV

"Chloeeeeeee" My best friend Layla and Beta of my pack, just comes barging in to my office. "Yes, Layla? Also have you heard of knocking?" I respond to her, while continuing my Pack work. "You need to have a break from all your Alpha work for a night, can we just go out to one of the clubs in the human Territory and just have fun?" she says, with pleading eyes. "Ugh fine, We will go out the Saturday night, I have a meeting with Alpha Noah in two days and I need to complete this stupid Pack work" I say to her, before she exits the room. Pack work. My parents had to defend me from Rouges. I was their only blood born Child. After that My mother couldn't carry anymore Children. She ended up adopting my younger Brother and Sister, Oliver and Grace. I soon found out they were twins from a different Alpha Bloodline who didn't want two 'Ugly Children' but they grew up in to beautiful people. I found out their Bloodlines Pack, The Royal Moon Pack. They are Royal's, But the Old King And Queen just put them out for adoption cause they didn't want them which still hurts my heart, now their older brother Colby has taken over being King of all Wolves. I was 5 when my mum adopted them as her own, they were 2 years old at the time. I guess that's what a Luna does. When my Parents got killed by Rouges, I had to take them in at 16. I was 16 years old looking after two 13 Year old's, and with Alpha duties on top. Its was hard lucky I had Layla and Ava to help me.

While I was finishing up pack work in my office, Oliver comes barging into my office "Doesn't Anyone know how to knock?" I say frustratingly signing. "Sorry, Sister. But apparently someone very important is here and Beta Layla told me to come tell you" he says, while twiddling his fingers "Its Okay, Oliver. Send them up here to my office" i say sitting back down in my chair. I swear if its more pack work to be done it can wait until tomorrow. A knock comes to my office door "Come in" I say while looking at my pack work for tomorrow, I heard the door open "Alpha Chloe". Great. Its Alpha Luca Stone from the Red Stone Pack. The one Alpha I became Best friends with. "Alpha Luca, what has made to come to my territory?" I say in a Alpha voice. "Oh, you know you got to find yourself a mate soon. Its almost time, for the Alpha and Beta ball the Royal King is hosting in 3 months" he says "Luca, you know how I feel about mates, yeah its your other half but if I get a mate, then I have to change my title to Luna" i say but then add quietly "I don't wanna change my title". Luca looks at me and walks over. "Chloe, You do have a choice of Accepting or Rejecting. Just you'll end up with a second chance mate" he says and sits in front of me. "ugh, The Moon Goddess hates me. I don't want a mate, Luca" I sigh and groan about it. He just sits there and laughs. I'm now 22 years old. The Youngest Alpha. I was supposed to find my Mate on my 20th Birthday but I didn't. I was stuck in my office doing paper work.

"Well Chloe, I must go back to my pack. Just to make sure Samuel hasn't messed up the Pack house and that Mia is okay trying to deal with him" he laughs and waves goodbye, while i smile back at him. I wish I was Mated to Luca, but his already found his mate, Mia. He is the most caring Alpha out there. Especially helping me become an Alpha at 16 years old. He was 20 years Old at the time. His like that one older brother I wish I had. Stupid Mood Goddess. I might as well go to this Royal Ball in 3 Months. I don't usually attend any Alpha parties, I just sit in my office doing work. Its all I ever know how to do. I finally finish up in my office to head down and have dinner with my siblings, my Beta and Gamma. "Royal Alpha and Beta Ball is coming up" I mention at the table "Are you going to go this year?" Ava said while taking a sip of her water. "I might, just Layla will have to come too since she is my Beta" I say while taking a bite of my bread "It also means I have to have every single bit of pack work done before then, it may cause me to have sleepless nights as there is 4 months of pack work to organize" I add. "Chloe, what happens if you find your mate at the Ball?" Layla says, I give it a little to no think and just clearly say "Ill reject him, I don't want a mate. Mate's make you weak and I am not weak". I shortly later stand up and head back to my office after telling everyone goodnight. What If I do find my mate? Do I really want to reject him? Of course I will 'Chloe, you are not rejecting our mate' my wolf Summer replied 'I am Summer, I don't want to be weak' i say back to her and all she does is whimpers. Ugh why did I get such a caring wolf?

I sit down at my desk and just start on tomorrow work. I should have just headed straight to bed but everyone has slightly angered me today about this whole mate bullshit. I looked at the time 12:45am, I mind linked Layla 'You will be in charge when I go to Alpha Noah's Pack, tomorrow. Make sure Oliver and Grace get to classes and training' i cut the mind link off and just packed up my paper work for the night. I guess it's time for me to just head to bed, but I need to let Summer out for a run. Nope, Summer can wait until tomorrow I'm too tired to deal with her wolfly antics. I head towards my bedroom which is connected to my office and just walk through into the bathroom. I just stand there and look in the mirror at my crystal blue eyes with a purple ring around them. I have unique eyes for a White and Grey Wolf. No one ever knows why I was born like I am, but I head to the shower just to clean myself up before I jumped into bed. I had to make sure I am up at 5:30am for Summer to have a run before I get stuck into pack work.
