On their first night, she said to the man lying on top of her, "Husband, it's fine. I won't tell anyone that you're a 'quick shooter'..." As a result, she inadvertently provoked a bloodthirsty CEO, leading to a life where she would be sweet and loving to singles during the day, but endure arduous exploitation at night. One day, she couldn't stand it anymore: "I'm not your wife!" The man smirked wickedly, "Your name is on the marriage certificate, and you say you're not?"

“Honey, only if you marry instead of your sister can our family be saved!”

“Anyway, you're twins, he won't find out!”

“All right... I'll marry him!”

At the Royal Luxury Hotel in the city of San Francisco, Brook Morgan, was in a sumptuous white wedding custom-made in Paris, France, walked hand-in-hand with her father Chris Wilson at the wedding ceremony.

Brook stood with clasped hands, palms already sweaty.

As soon as they reached the entrance, dazzling flashbulbs flashed across Brook's face. The wedding dais was packed with guests, not only members of both families, but also numerous business partners and journalists.

But only Brook and Chris knew it was staged.

Due to the elopement of her twin sister Brie Morgan, her father, whom she hadn't seen in eighteen years, had come a long way to find Brook, and ask him to marry in Brie's place.

Watching the scene unfold before her, Brook suddenly felt a great deal of regret. Why had she agreed to do this?

Brook glanced at her future husband, Dan Wick.

Dressed in a black suit, Dan stood straight in front of Brook. His handsome face was impenetrable, revealing no expression and therefore leaving no clue to his thoughts.

His eyes were bright and fiery, and his hawk-like gaze was firmly fixed on Brook.

The way his eyes stared at her made Brook uncomfortable. Chris had told him that Dan was very dangerous and that his ruthless ways were terrifying. Brook hadn't believed him at first, but after seeing him in person, she knew that Dan was truly mysterious and unpredictable!

Brook even had a hunch that if Dan discovered the truth, the consequences would be terrible.

Brook turned to Chris and whispered, “I've got a bad feeling about this. Maybe we should find an opportunity to tell Dan the truth?”

Chris stiffened at this and took a deep breath. If it hadn't been for the company, he'd never have taken this risk.

Doing his best to remain calm, Chris said, “There's no turning back now.... Brook, your father is begging you.”

Brook glanced at the aging Chris standing next to her; she couldn't refuse him. Gritting her teeth, she decided: “Let's go.”

Dan watched as Brook approached him step by step, as sensually charming as ever and exuding a heroic spirit within. At last, he was going to marry her!

Dan stepped forward to take Brook from Chris. Dad, I'll take good care of her for the rest of my life,” he said.

Only then could Chris answer. Thinking there were so many people around him, he couldn't go wrong, and quickly said, “Hmm, I'm definitely comfortable entrusting...I'll leave my daughter to you.Dan”

With that, Chris glanced at Brook, then left the stage.

Brook felt a wave of warmth coming from her hand. She looked up to see Dan standing in front of her. He was so close to Brook that she could see every detail of his body.

Brook was 1.7 meters tall, but Dan towered over her by a head, probably 1.9 meters. From her perspective as a surgeon, Dan's body proportions were as perfect as the golden ratio.

As she sized him up, the priest suddenly asked, “Miss Morgan, do you consider this man to be your lawful wedded husband?”

Brook paused until Chris cleared his throat to remind her that she finally responded, “Mm, I do.”

Dan thought she was nervous, so he tightened his grip on her hand in an attempt to comfort her, which only made Brook feel even more uncomfortable.

Dan was supposed to be her future brother-in-law...

After exchanging the rings, the priest announced, “You may now kiss the bride.”

Wait, kiss!?

Hearing this, Brook frowned, before she could react, Dan leaned over and kissed her!
