"Hurry, drop your fee" The receptionist bagged at an old lady; Mrs Fort.

"Ain't there any patience in the world, now?" Mr Fort spoke back, more sharply and the receptionist would have almost lost her tongue if words were knife.

"Everyone is waiting too so drop your fee early, get your tickets and get into the train. It's so simple" The receptionist spatted, her eyes burned with anger.

"Oh, now you wanna hit me....do it! Hit me!" Mrs Fort yelled back and an argument began. Many people grumbled as both the receptionist and Mrs Fort kept bickering with each other.

"Argh, won't they stop already. We would be late to the Showdown event if they continue like this" I whispered to my Dad who was by my side in the queue.

"Shhh, you don't want her to hear you and assume you're taking sides with the receptionist, do you?" Dad furrowed his brow as he whispered back, I slightly chuckled.

Mrs Fort was one of those people who spoke loudly and won't take any form of corrections or retortion. She was an old lady who stays down the hill in a little cottage along our path, she often talked about her grand kid whom she said was the best grand kid but everyone says she must be seeing things due to her old age since this grand kid has never payed her a visit. Besides, no one knows if it is true or not.

Today, everyone was at the train station wanting to attend a event held by a new organization from a foreign city. They invited all the communities to meet at the Silver House and Dad was also invited so I tagged along. The Showdown event has been the talk of the town for weeks now and just an hour to this long awaited moment, Mrs Fort chose to cause a chaos with the receptionist, how petty.

Spiky rubbed his head in my embrace, "don't worry, it's just a few words between adults" I coed as I pat his head.

"So now, you lie to a little dog?" Dad pouted and I hit him with my shoulder, "It's not lying, it's just a simple twist in the truth" I blinked severely trying to evade the question.

"A twist in the truth" Dad laughed.

"Yeah, it is" I insisted but Dad continued to laugh. I gave up trying to convince him and after a while, he stopped.

"Look over there" Dad pointed to the nearby tree.

"There?" I also pointed at the tree and Dad came behind me to redirect my hand to the sky then he whispered in my ears.

"Some things look this way but in reality, they actually look in another way" I was confused, I didn't get what he meant.

"What are you trying to tell me Dad?" I twirled around to face him, he was dressed in a head to toe black suit matching his wavy black hair from which one could tell that he was very handsome and his face looked solemn compared to his usual funny expression.

He placed his hands on my shoulder as he looked at me with a mixed expression.

"Ana, I want....?" The sounds of a train on wheels was heard as the train suddenly came into the train station, causing Dad to stop midway through his sentence, the noise died down after the train came to an halt.

"Everyone! Get into the train!" The train driver shouted as soon as he appeared with the train, he got down from the train and waved at the crowd with his hat.

"But we haven't gotten our tickets yet" A man with blonde hair complained waving towards the receptionist, indicating that he was being delayed.

"Yes, we haven't gotten it yet so why the rush?" A young lady with jet black hair also commented and everyone chorused the same. I watched in awe as the people argued with the driver, I saw as his face switched from anxiety to dismay. This people were really a pain in the ass, just now, some were murmuring about not having a free ride to the Silver House and now they were asked to get in, yet they still argued about not having a ticket, how pathetic.

"Just hop in! The train tickets has been paid for by the Scottish Men so you don't need one to get a ride! All passengers going to the Silver House, get into the train! We have less than forty minutes before the event commence" The train driver shouted again, this time, more aggressive than before. Everyone started moving in the direction of the train and the whole station suddenly got crowded even those who could not afford the tickets started entering the train.

"Come on, let's go" Dad held my hand and dragged me along with him when Spiky whimpered. "Hey buddy, what's wrong?" I asked as soon as I stopped walking. The way into the train was already crowded so Dad and I stopped while waiting for everyone to get into the train.

Spiky whimpered again, then I tried to figure out what went wrong. Oh no! I left my building plan.

"What's wrong?" Dad questioned,  looking worried.

"I left my building plan at home!" My eyes opened wide in realization.

"Which plan again?" Dad arched his brow, seemingly confused.

"The one I wanted to show Mr Marcellus!"

"Oh! So what now?"

"I would have to go back home to get it since he would be leaving town as soon as the event is over" I explained as I removed my hand from Dad's.

"Hey, the train is about to move!" The train driver shouted from behind Dad as he tagged on his sleeve.

Dad stared at me before facing the driver, "Can we perhaps wait for a little while?"

"I don't think that's possible" the driver glared at me, furiously or maybe in disdain.

"But she just wanna go back to get something" Dad tried to explain, hoping that the driver would agree, I put on my best pleading face.

"Alright but only for twenty minutes" The driver threw his hands up in defeat and with that reply, I took on my heels.

"Hurry, kiddo!" Dad shouted from behind me.

"Sure" I yelled back.
