Do not tell me that she's here again." Alfonso said as he paced back and forth to his table. He placed his left hand on his left pocket, as he walked towards the table. He took his phone out of his pocket to dial a number.

"Why is he so tense?" Beau questioned. "Is it Georgina, again?" he added as Cameron was busy tidying the pile of papers on his desk.

"You can't blame him. Georgina is always involved in every crime scene we investigate," Cameron responded before placing the papers on his desk.

The two young men started looking through the pile of papers for evidence. Matching everyone to the murder which happened recently. They have been trying to catch a serial killer for the past two years.

They once caught Georgina who was accused guilty of murder, but further investigation says otherwise. This immediately led the team to a dead end. However, anonymous letters kept coming through, Giving them hope in finding the person responsible for all the murders.

"Alfonso," a male in a dark brown man-bun, comes rushing into the office.

"Got anything for me, Elijah?" Alfonso muttered towards the male.

"She's with Seth, in the interrogation room," Elijah responded quickly

Upon hearing the news, Alfonso quickly finished his phone call. He immediately walked down the stairs towards the interrogation room. When he got there, he saw that Chase and Alesso were busy scrolling through their social media feeds.

Seth was pacing around the small room as the girl was in her seat looking right through the door.

"I told you a million times, I had nothing to do with the murder," she scoffed which stopped the male from pacing

"What?" Seth asked as he sat down, "I'm not going to repeat myself," she said before going back to silence. As he sat on the chair, Seth ran his fingers through his hair before turning back to the accused, he opened his mouth and let out a sigh.

Alfonso waited outside the interrogation room, as Seth went out, his face painted a frown as he crossed his arms. Alfonso went ahead and dismissed Chase and Alesso, before talking to Seth, "Did she talk?" Alfonso questioned

"No," he answered as if the world turned up against him. They both looked back at the girl who was thoroughly clenching her fist trying to escape from the handcuffs.

"Go on and join the others in figuring out who's really behind the murders. I'll go ahead and talk to her" Alfonso sighed before patting Seth on the back.

After he left, Alfonso waited some time before walking into the room. He pulled the chair out and sat in front of the girl and prepared for the interrogation.

Sitting down he mimicked her posture, they both sat glancing and gauging each other.

"Georgina, tell me honestly are you involved with the murder?" Alfonso asked as he raised his eyebrow.

"Alfonso, you don't assume I am the murderer, right? I just got released from your past false accusations." Georgina said.

"If I'm in your position, I shouldn't be too easy to judge people. Especially after being so wrong about your previous ones." Georgina harshly advised as she smirked.

There was an awkwardness between the two. Alfonso was thinking of other ways to make Georgina talk. He knew that simple confrontations like this wouldn't get him anywhere.

"I think this is going nowhere, just let me go," Georgina mentioned after the prolonged silence.

"Not yet, I need to know why you are always spotted at the crime scene," he responded.

Georgina rolled her eyes and didn't even bother saying a word.

"I believe I don't need to answer and explain anything to you," she answered.

"Can you at least tell me why my men look grubby when they bought you here for interrogation?" Alfonso asked.

"Probably because they can't handle a woman. Besides, they are the ones who put me in handcuffs," Georgina replied as she tries to escape.

"Alfonso," Alesso peaked at the room, "We need to discuss something; we'll wait for you outside." the younger left.

Alfonso took a quick glance at Georgina before exiting the room.

"What is it?" Alfonso mumbled as he looked irritated.

"The chief wants us to include here to the team. She'll be of big help." Cameron explained.

"What, no!" Alfonso was frustrated with what he heard. Obviously, he doesn't want Georgina anywhere near the scene let alone be a part of their team.

"Think about it, why is she always ahead of us at the crime scene?" Seth joined the conversation.

Alfonso was silent for a few minutes. Weighing on the possible outcome of teaming up with Georgina.

"The chief wants her to help the team." Cameron broke the silence.

"We'll see about that," he replied. "Seth, will you go and-" Alfonso was interrupted by Cameron.

"I'll go talk to her," Cameron interrupted while walking up to the interrogation room, "maybe if we talk to her in a less hostile manner, we'll get something out of it," Cameron added.

"I'm with him regarding that," Beau said, agreeing to what the eldest said.

Alfonso went out to talk to the chief about the abrupt decision while the others stayed and watched Cameron from the two-way mirror.

While Alfonso was on his way to the chief, Cameron entered the interrogation room and sat down with Georgina. They both stayed silent, gauging who will break the ice first.

"I'm sorry about that, we've been through hell this past few weeks," Cameron explained.

"I'm Came-"

"I know who you are," Georgina mentioned while looking at the male from head to toe.

"I believe this is the first time we'll talk," he replied.

"I know a lot about your team. I know that you guys just recently moved here, and I know that you're less hostile than Alfonso." Georgina muttered, making Cameron smirked.

"I just believe that hostility will bring you nowhere," the guy immediately got the key out of his pockets and uncuffed Georgina. Seeing the pale white skin with red marks, Cameron let out a sigh of frustration.

Georgina was shocked by the gentleness and calmness of the detective. He started rubbing Georgina's wrist trying to alleviate the pain from the handcuffs. Her mind went blank, and her heart ponders as she looked at the young man doing everything to comfort her.

"I did not know the handcuffs were so tight, it might leave marks on your skin," Cameron scoffed as he continued to rub her wrist gently.

"It's no big deal, I'm used to feeling this," Georgina said while letting out a slight smile.

"You are not being nice just because you need something from me, right?" she asked.

"Who says about needing anything from you?" Cameron answered, letting out a soft chuckle.

"Do you prefer hostile people rather than just calm, friendly conversation?" he added.

Whilst Cameron and Georgina carried on with the conversation, the other members were watching them through the two-way mirror, clueless about how and why Georgina is being carefree towards Cameron.

"I don't see any problem teaming up with her. We could use a woman's instinct in our team." Chase asked while rubbing his fingers through his hair.

"Second to that, she's not as bad as what we thought of her," Alesso answered while drinking a cup of coffee.

"You know Alfonso, it's hard for him to adjust to new people. Let alone his enemy." Beau said sarcastically.

"Yeah, but he knows very well that we need anyone who can be helpful, we've been on and off with this case.

It's time we close it." Elijah added as he looked at Cameron and Georgina laughing,

"You know I've never seen Georgina this calm when being interrogated," Alesso mumbled. "Whenever Seth or Alfonso talks to her, she looks evil," he added.

"Don't be fooled. She can be manipulative at times," Seth said with annoyance.

"Then she will be useful for the team. We need her." Elijah said while the others hummed in response.

Alfonso was outside the door, he heard everything that the other members talked about. He stood outside of the room, thinking about the conversation that he heard. He still couldn't believe that he is thinking about teaming up with this woman. Well, he should think about the welfare of the case and how Georgina's attitude can very much help the team easily solve the case.

As he walked towards the interrogation room, he informs the team that he's agreeing to the thought of teaming up with Georgina. However, he needs to set boundaries and rules regarding this. He still can't move one from the past incident that happened between Georgina and him. He mentioned that Georgina can be unpredictable sometimes, she adapts easily to people around her. Moreover, they don't know why she's trying to solve the case on her own when she is just a normal civilian.

Going past the other members, Alfonso was about to enter the interrogation room. The ambiance suddenly changed as he entered the room. He glanced at Cameron and rolled his eyes at Georgina.

"Cameron, can you please give us two a moment to talk," Alfonso instructed Cameron to wait outside.

"Okay. Just take it easy, man." Cameron patted Alfonso's back as he went outside.
