Introduction
During this time, when I was insecure, I realized that my friends had been alone in a moment of frustration, which made me feel uncomfortable even though I had just started my first day, and I only just started my journey with a friend who had just left me a message that I had never seen before or since.

The multi-colored lights of the place are enough to disorient and stun you, they move from one place to another without settling in the same spot for even a second, the music is so loud and deafening that to talk to the person who's mere centimeters away from you requires shouting with considerable force, if you're not blended into the environment easily, you would end up with a headache.

Nightclubs were like this after all, at a table in the place sits Presley. She is seated with her arms crossed, extremely bored and somewhat sleepy, she observes her boyfriend Matthews with disinterest.

Unlike her, he is having a great time dancing with another woman on the dance floor. One of his hands rests on the woman's tiny waist, while in the other hand he holds his drink, both of them rubbing their bodies to the rhythm of the music in an attempt to dance.

Presley seems to be neither bothered nor affected. She's waiting for Matthews to finish his drink so they could leave for home and rest. Undoubtedly, she would not be there if not for her boyfriend who insisted much that she accompany him, although in the end they always ended up leaving her alone.

She was his trophy. He liked to take her everywhere, not because he enjoyed her company or loved her very much, but simply because he loved showing off to others that she was with him and not with the ones who also wanted her by their side.

But Presley was no stranger to what was happening, she was also with him so the others would not bother her. Matthews had a respected position in the university, so she'd rather put up with an idiot than have thousands bothering her every day. After all, they both had their own interests to be with each other.

"Would you like to dance?!"

A tall and handsome young man with a dark complexion approached Presley to ask her to dance. He'd been watching her for a while as she seemed distracted and apparently bored looking towards the dance floor.

She did not look like the other girls in the place. There were heels, short skirts, revealing necklines and totally tight dresses everywhere, but Presley wore a dress that was tight up to her waist, the lower part was wide, a bit fluffy, it was somewhat short but not totally noticeable, it was long sleeved and did not reveal her neckline so her appearance seemed cute and adorable to him.

Presley turned to look at him with somewhat furrowed brows. The boy, on looking at her face, was oblivious to the cold gaze of the beautiful woman. She had intense green eyes, that shone under the lights of the place like a cat's, no matter how much he studied her face, he was unable to find any defect or imperfection.

He was instantly captivated by her, Presley restrained herself from laughing in the face of the boy who had a lost look on his face like he was traveling among the clouds, she found him very foolish.

"No thanks, I'm here with my boyfriend..."

She responded to him in a crisp and dry manner, then turned her gaze to the other side, hoping that as soon as the boy felt her coldness he would leave.

Although the boy was disappointed at the attitude of the beautiful woman, as soon as she turned her face away from him, he was caught by the fresh aroma of her dark hair that looked silky and shiny, which motivated him again.

"If you have a boyfriend... where is he? How dare he leave a woman as beautiful as you alone?!"

Presley sighed heavily and rolled her eyes, she said nothing, simply ignored the boy. But not far from them, Matthews remembered after a long time that he had brought his girlfriend with him and had left her alone at the table he had reserved.

It took him a while to focus his vision as he was somewhat drunk. As soon as he saw his beautiful girlfriend and a boy very close to her, he immediately sobered up. Abruptly, he pushed the girl who was dancing in front of him and made his way through the crowd to get to them.

Presley did not want to have a conversation with that boy, she chose to ignore him in the hope that he would leave but the boy was still there. She had made up her mind to subtly shoo him away when suddenly, behind the boy, Matthews arrived and gave him a strong punch in the face. He fell right into Presley's legs. She raised her arms and before she could push him to pull him off her, Matthews grabbed him by the back of his shirt and hit him again. They had already attracted quite a bit of attention, so Presley quickly stood up to take her boyfriend and avoid a scene, but the boy got up swiftly and lunged at Matthews, they started to fight like wild animals rolling around on the floor.

The security guards quickly began to make their way through the crowd of drunkards who were enjoying the entertaining fight. As soon as they reached them and managed to separate them, Matthews punched one of the security guards, in response, his colleague called for backup and there were more guards on their way.

"This is not possible..."

Presley complained softly as she rubbed her forehead, Matthews was a constant headache for her. Sometimes she thought it was better to deal with her university stalkers on a daily basis rather than deal with him, but this was the way she hid her feelings since deep down she was with him because she had grown fond of him after many months of dating.

Suddenly more guards arrived at the center of the fight, they grabbed Matthews by the arms and legs to take him away at any cost, as the other boy lay unconscious on the floor while Matthews continued to beat him like a crazed animal.

Presley watched as the guards headed towards the exit with him in their arms, so she grabbed her little silver purse to leave the place as well.
