Just witnessing her boyfriend cheating and rolling around in bed with another woman, Caryl's mood had hit rock bottom. The street was bustling with noise, but she couldn't hear a thing, only the nauseating scene played in her head.

Wandering around for a while, Caryl finally cursed aloud, "Damn, I must have been blind!"

She and Frank her boyfriend, have been dating for three years, and they haven't even kissed, so as to keep her purity till the wedding night. But who knew this guy was snacking behind her back! From their conversation, it seemed that they had been at it for a while!

Caryl was so blind, heart and soul!

Feeling too upset to cry, Caryl didn't know what to do now. Three years of relationship couldn't even compare to physical pleasure. How ironic!

Damn it! From now on, Caryl would definitely sleep with a guy before considering him as a boyfriend. Sweet talk was nothing compared to the reality of sex.

It's said that when one is down on luck, even drinking water gets in the teeth gap. Her life was on a downturn, filled with bad luck.

With a thud, Caryl, who was walking with her head down, bumped into an electric pole.

Squatting on the ground and holding her head, Caryl actually started to laugh. "Hehe, haha, haha…"

The people passing by avoided her. They had never seen a person who could laugh after hitting their head so hard. Either she was knocked silly, or she had gone mad.

The squatting Caryl didn't care how people looked at her. This bump seemed to have awakened her.

Since Corin was heartless, why should she torment herself? The man had rolled into bed; no one cared about her, a fool kept in the dark.

With a swoosh, Caryl stood up and clenched her fist. "Oh, damn, it hurts." She hadn't noticed the pain on her forehead until now.

Rubbing her head, she walked into a nearby cafe and sat down.

During the day, the cafe had sun umbrellas set up outside with tables underneath, giving it an open-air feel.

Caryl sat down and hastily pulled out a small mirror from her bag. The palm-sized mirror reflected a pitiful little face. Her forehead was red and swollen, bulging out a large bump.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. She snapped the mirror shut and felt upset.

"Humph, I must marry a good man, just to spite you!" she said furiously, and slammed her fist on the table.

And so, all the men passing by were scrutinized by Caryl's sharp gaze.

"No, this one won't work, he has a flirtatious look, definitely fickle in love."

"This one won't do either, he seems to have a bad temper, what will happen if he hits his wife in the future!"

"This one is even worse, too honest, definitely lacks romance."

The more she looked, the more confused she got, feeling as if everyone looked the same and none of them were suitable.

Finally, a well-suited and booted man came out of the coffee shop. His figure was incredibly tempting, tall and muscular, radiating a fascinating male hormone, a unique sense of security.

His looks? She didn't see!

Just the body was extremely attractive, Caryl's eyes stared at the man without blinking. As the man walked, his firm legs made people fantasize.

Fine, as she had looked at many people, Caryl was really dizzy, her head was spinning, so she didn't see his face clearly.

But this body seemed so sturdy, definitely safe, so Caryl was very satisfied.

"Hey, Sir, want to get married?" She blocked the man's way, smiling sweetly. The long hair wrapping her little face made her look extremely cute, very much like a fluffy cotton candy.

The man Caryl stopped was taken aback, shocked by her words. For the first time, he was proposed on the street, and by this silly woman no less.

He's been sitting in this cafe, watching her for quite some time. He never expected to run into her here. It's so coincidental that it couldn't possibly be more so.

His dark eyes are fixed on the petite woman in front of him. A round face, very cute, but with a large red swelling on her forehead, she looks quite pitiful.

The man frowns, a trace of cold charm on his face. How did this woman end up like this? However, her words just now were indeed interesting!

"Okay." The man raises an eyebrow, his thin lips curling, nodding in agreement.

He saw her sitting alone, looking upset, and then acting rather strangely. That's why Kelly thought about walking past her to see how she would react. He didn't expect this, it's interesting!

It seems that this woman really has forgotten about him. But it's also understandable, they were both young back then, it's normal not to remember.

Wait, he agreed just like that?

Caryl doubted her hearing for a moment, could it be this easy?

"Let me introduce myself, I'm Caryl Willam." She raises her head and smiles, displaying two dimples as sweet as candy as she introduces herself.

Kelly pulls at his lips, curling them into a curve. This woman has genuinely forgotten him. Haha... Caryl he’ll make her remember him again.

"My name is Kelly Scott, remember it." The man's lips barely move as his deep, frosty voice echoes in her ears, drawing people in as if hooked.

The ringing of a phone interrupts their silent and eerie eye contact. Kelly retrieves his phone and walks aside to take the call, which lasts less than a minute.

"Come here." Lowering his head, he looks at the swelling on Caryl's forehead, pulls her, and has her sit back down.

"Oh." She obediently lets Kelly guide her, nodding blankly.

For some reason, she feels dizzy again. The man's face in front of her is wavering, and she can't see clearly.

In less than half an hour, a man came running from the side of the street, holding a small box and a tiny bag in his hand. From the looks of it, they appeared to be medicine.

"Mr. Scott, here are the items you asked for." The man in a black suit was respectful, treating him like a big boss.

Kelly took the items, still carrying a cold demeanor, and simply replied, "Hmm."

Then, recognizing his place, the man in the black suit quickly left, albeit a bit confused.

When Kelly had called earlier, he'd asked this man to bring over the diamond ring that was the star of their jewelry store under the Scott Group, and also to buy some medicine for external wounds.

He'd wondered why Kelly needed a diamond ring. And now, here he was, seeing Kelly with a woman!

This was big news!

"Who are you really? Why does he listen to you so obediently? Don't tell me you are a gangster boss," Caryl tilted her face up, her fair skin almost translucent.

"You're overthinking." He glanced at her forehead, which was swelling rapidly.

He'd seen what happened at the street corner while he was in the cafe. This little woman bumped her head while walking. He had never seen someone so clumsy before.

"Oh." She stuck out her tongue, look cheeky as ever.

Kelly opened the bag, took out the medicine for external wounds, and carefully applied it on Caryl's head.
