Author Prechy Chapter one

"Kayla, Kayla"Kim yelled but she wasn't answering

"Just go get her Kim"her mom said and Kim nodded angrily as she marched away angrily

Oh what she was going to do to Kayla

She got in her room and met Kayla arranging her hair

She fisted her palm as she threw her off the chair ruining her already arranged hair

"C'mon Kim why do you always use your powers on me but never use them in front of mom and dad and I wished I had powers to repay you"Kayla said standing up

"You wish"Kim said sitting down on Kayla's bed totally forgetting why she was here in the first place

"Why are you here because I know you have forgotten"Kayla said making Kim scoff

"Mom wants you at the living room this instance"Kim said

She walked to her door and looked at her again

"This instance"Kim said before walking away

Kayla groaned in anger because she knows why her mom needs her

To tell her not to leave the tower when they are gone

She just doesn't get it

Why can't she be able to leave just like everyone

The only time she gets to see the sky is when she goes to get daffodils at the back of the house

And she doesn't get to spend more than five minutes there

She wondered

"Kayla"a voice screamed from the living room which she knew was her mom's

She ran out of the room and met her mom furious

"Mom am sorry"Kayla said

"Hmm Kayla I think you know why I called you. But I think I need to rephrase. Please don't leave the house

Don't leave the house even to get daffodils

Here is your food on the table incase you get hungry"she said and Kayla put on a sad expression

"Don't worry pretty soon you can come with us"Kim said hugging her

And with that they picked up their bags and left

Kayla went into her room and laid down on the bed tired and bored

What would it feel like to be set free"she asked herself

She brought out her painters board and started drawing how the outside world will be due to some clues Kim normally gives to her

She drew for a considerable amount of time before deciding to go eat

She covered the painters board with her curtains as usual so her mom won't find out she still Paints and most especially about the outside world and get her sister into trouble

Mandie , Kim's and Kayla's mom sat at the market selling to customers leaving Kim to run around the market hustling for more customers and she was doing a good job because alot of customers graced her shop

Her mind flew back to Kayla

Oh she wish that she would never for once disobey her but she knew curiousity would one day try to eat into Kayla because she knew her daughter

She was one who always was so inquisitive

If only she knew she was hiding her from the same people

Oh Kayla

I hope you forgive me

Just continue being the perfect girl

"Mom am back "Kim said sitting down on one of the lappas on the floor

"Thanks,I saw a lot of customers"Mandie said arranging her goods to be more attractive

She only had few more to sell off before she goes home to avoid Kayla being bored

"It's my duty mom"she said

A long silence ensued between them as a lot of things were going through their minds

Kim had a lot of questions to ask her mom ;one which was why her mom had never allowed Kayla go to the market with them

She knew they were going to make a lot of gain if she comes

One which is she was going to draw more customers with her carefree nature and they won't have to rush home when the business was really bubbling all because they need to meet Kayla

"What are you lost in Kim"her mom asked making her turn around

She found her mom counting all their daily sales and she knew it was time to go home

Oh how she wish they could stay longer

"Kim you haven't answered my question"her mom asked again

"Nothing mom"she said getting up

"Ok if you say so"Mandie said

That was why Kim loved her mother,she wasn't one who would press forward,she knows how to give her children space except Kayla anyway. She was always on her tail

She wonders what's so special about her

"Kim wait here"her mom said getting up took some money and got mixed up with the crowd

Kim already knew where she was headed so she relaxed and watched the beautiful view of the market

"Are you sure the bearer of the last gift is here"Wayne asked his best friend Zack

"Am sure Wayne,we just need to find her because it's almost time for the war"Zack said staring at his best friend who gritted his teeth in anger

This wasn't Wayne's plan for his life

Searching for the gifts that would fight the war King James was planning to wage against his own father King Gurd

"So how do I help in all this "Wayne asked pacing around the tent

"With your sensory powers,let's find her with that"Zack said and Wayne scoffed

"How are you sure it's a girl"Wayne asked and Zack smirked

"Am always right

"Whatever"Wayne said sitting down near the fire place

He could not wait to get home to his comfy room

Living the life he pleased

Not in the forest looking for some bearer of gifts

So boring

Kim and Mandie walked home fast as they had some mother and daughter talk both completely avoiding Kayla in the gist

Kim sighted the tower from afar

"Home sweet home"she muttered

A home without neighbours, friends

She walked faster into the house as she couldn't wait to tell her sister all that she saw today in the market but that would be while her mother was asleep
