"Hey, wake up! The car is about to explode, get out quickly!"

When Cecilia Geoffrey was waiting for the red street lights at the road, she suddenly witnessed a sports car being hit by a speeding truck.

The car was severely deformed, glass shattered, and there was a faint smell of gasoline, a sign of imminent explosion.

With a heart pounding with fear, Cecilia couldn't afford to delay. She rushed to rescue the person inside the car.

Bent over, she tapped the bloodied face of the man in the driver's seat,

"Sir! Wake up!"

Seeing no response from the man, Cecilia leaned into the car and unfastened the man's seatbelt, trying to pull him out, but then she realized his leg was trapped.

After shaking a few times, the man weakly pleaded, "Save me..."

"I can't pull you out."

Cecilia strained but couldn't free him as his leg was wedged tightly.

As the smell of gasoline grew stronger, the danger escalated. Cecilia, feeling apprehensive, reluctantly released him, blurting out an excuse, "Sorry, I still have deliveries to make. If I'm late, they'll... deduct money."

Cecilia genuinely wanted to save him, but she feared risking her own life for someone she couldn't rescue.

"Save me. I'll give you... 100 million dollars."

Even in a semi-conscious state, the man's survival instinct was strong.

"100 million dollars?"

Hearing the mention of money, Cecilia's eyes lit up as she glanced at the car's emblem—it was a Ferrari.

He indeed was a wealthy man.

A promise like that couldn't be false.

"There's a jack in the trunk." The bloodied man strained to open his eyes, trying to remember the woman's face, but blood had blurred his vision.

"Okay."

Without wasting a moment, Cecilia immediately went to open the trunk, found the jack, and wedged it between the seat and the console. Only then did she manage to drag the man out.

As they barely moved a few meters, a deafening explosion echoed as the car burst into flames. The force of the blast knocked them both to the ground, rendering the man unconscious.

Pale-faced and frightened, Cecilia patted her chest, "Phew, that was close..."

After a moment's pause, she tied him to her electric bike with the delivery box rope and swayed her way to the hospital.

At the payment counter, the cashier asked, "What's the name?"

"I'm ..."

Before she could finish, the cashier interrupted, "Oh, you're the daughter of our director, Erin Gosse, right?"

Erin Gosse—her identical twin sister.

Both shared the same face and height as if copied identically.

But... their destinies were drastically different.

Because she was taken away at birth, sold to her current foster parents after several transfers.

Just a month ago, her foster parents had a serious car accident, leaving them hospitalized and in need of expensive treatment.

That's when their biological parents appeared out of nowhere, offering to cover the medical expenses on one condition: Cecilia had to undergo a bone marrow transplant for the leukemia-stricken youngest son of the Gosse family and couldn't reveal her identical face to anyone.

Her biological mother, Lesley Carey, said, "Our Erin is proficient in everything—music, art, poetry, and dance. She's the city's beauty. But you, you're just a country girl who can't measure up. You can't ruin our Erin's reputation just because of your existence."

To save her foster parents, Cecilia reluctantly agreed.

And today, delivering food late at night, she hadn't bothered to put on makeup, never expecting to be recognized.

Moreover, she accidentally entered her biological father's hospital. She had to pretend to be 'Erin' and used her name to pay 5,000 dollars for the surgery.

After sorting everything out, exhausted, she returned to her rented place, took a shower, and absentmindedly found a black diamond-shaped ring in her pocket.

Without much thought, Cecilia placed the ring on the table and lay down on the bed to rest for a while.

At an unknown hour, there was a knocking on the door.

"Who is it?"

She pulled her slippers and walked to the door, only to see Erin walking in.

"How did you...?"

Before Cecilia could finish her sentence, Erin slapped her across the face. "Cecilia, why you are so bitchy? Have you forgotten everything I told you?"

Tall and slender, Erin had shoulder-length hair, exquisite facial features, a hint of makeup enhancing her beauty, and an air of grace and nobility that left a lasting impression.

Contrast with Cecilia, who was clad in cheap pajamas and wearing a pair of cheap slippers, she was worlds apart.

Furious, Cecilia retaliated, slapping Erin back.

For the sake of saving her foster parents and enduring her biological parents' demands, Cecilia was never one to let herself be pushed around by anyone.

With a resounding slap, Erin let out a miserable cry. "Cecilia, how dare you hit me?"

Cecilia's strength was much greater than Erin's, leaving a slight swelling on her cheek.

Shaking her stinging hand, Cecilia frowned, "Bear with it! I'm not your mother. Do you think I'd tolerate your arrogance?"

"In the dead of night, you took some random guy to my dad's hospital for treatment. What will people think of me if this spreads? "

Erin, whose face was flushed with anger, pointed at her and said, "You violated the agreement I warned you about when we arrived in Arcton City. You're not allowed to flaunt 'my face' around. Are you willing to sacrifice your foster parents' lives?!"

If someone hadn't informed her father this morning, Cecilia would still be in the dark.

"Your face... Huh."

Cecilia laughed self-deprecatingly, her eyes filled with sorrow.

Look at this unjust destiny—having the same identical face yet not allowed to reveal it to the world.

At this time, Erin's cell phone rang.

Taking the call, Erin glanced slightly and happened to notice the black diamond-shaped ring on the table.

The ring seemed familiar...

"Mom, what's the matter?" she asked.

"Oh my, darling, when did you save Mr. Hobson? Such a big event, and you didn’t even tell mommy. The Hobson family just sent someone, asking to meet you in a week."
