It was six months after Olima Adams lost her parents in a car accident, and she had been living with her stepmother and her stepsister since then, as they turned her into a maid and withdrew her from furthering her education.

Mr. Leo Adams had married Mrs. Zoe Nelson, and she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with brown sparkling eyes named Olima Adams. But after Olima’s birth, Mrs. Zoe experienced complications.

Mrs. Zoe cried, as she wanted to give her husband more children, but he assured her that his love for her wouldn’t change.

Two years later, Mr. Leo spoke to his wife about his intention to marry a second wife who would bear him more children, and most especially a son who would inherit all his properties and carry his name, instead of going out to adopt a son, as Olima was a girl.

Mrs. Zoe became emotional and afraid of another woman coming into her home and turning her husband’s heart against her, and she spoke to her best friend named Gina Edwards about accepting and marrying her husband.

Mrs. Zoe and Gina used to be best friends, as they attended the same high school and lived on the island where the billionaire families lived. They were still friends even after Mrs. Zoe had married.

Mrs. Zoe never knew that Gina secretly admired her husband, and she proposed to Gina to accept and marry her husband, Mr. Leo.

Gina wasted no time and accepted the marriage, and she moved into the white mansion to live with them.

But as Gina arrived at the home, she changed and started quarreling with Mrs. Zoe.

Gina told Zoe to leave the master bedroom, so that she and Mr. Leo could use it, since Mrs. Zoe couldn’t bear another child for Mr. Leo.

But Mr. Leo was shocked at Mrs. Gina’s change in attitude, as she dared to quarrel with Mrs. Zoe and even called Mrs. Zoe a witch for refusing to exit the master bedroom.

Mr. Leo got annoyed and threatened to divorce Mrs. Gina the following day, but Mrs. Gina calmed down and switched back to the good friend that she was to Mrs. Zoe, and she begged Mrs. Zoe to plead with their husband not to divorce her.

Mr. Leo told Mrs. Gina, “How dare you come into my house today and dare to quarrel with your best friend? I regret marrying you, Gina, and Olima will inherit all my properties tomorrow even if she gets married to a man and changes her surname to her husband’s surname; she will still be my daughter. So get ready to leave my house tomorrow, as our marriage is over!”

Mrs. Gina begged Mrs. Zoe to plead with their husband not to divorce her, and Mrs. Zoe sighed, as she was the one that had begged Mrs. Gina to accept and marry her husband.

Mrs. Zoe pleaded with Mr. Leo on Gina’s behalf, and he allowed Mrs. Gina to stay in the mansion with them, but in a separate bedroom.

Mrs. Gina hated Mrs. Zoe from that day henceforth, as she avoided speaking with Mrs. Zoe, and she felt that probably Mrs. Zoe and their husband both conspired to marry her and bring her into the mansion to show her how lovely a couple they were.

------------

One day, Mrs. Gina went into Mrs. Zoe’s room, and she pleaded with Mrs. Zoe to allow their husband to spend a night with her, since that was why Mr. Leo married her too.

Mrs. Zoe waited for Mr. Leo to arrive home that night, and she spoke to him, asking him to spend his night with Gina in her bedroom, and to see if Gina would bear him a son, as per the reason why he married Gina.

Mr. Leo refused, as he was avoiding Gina, and he didn’t want to have anything to do with Mrs. Gina, since he regretted marrying her.

But after Mrs. Zoe sent him away, Mr. Leo had no other option than to spend his night in Gina’s bedroom, and he made love to Gina.

----------

One month later, Mrs. Gina was still jealous, and she continued hating Mrs. Zoe after seeing that Mr. Leo loved Mrs. Zoe very much more than her, as she had thought that Mr. Leo would love only her and ditch Mrs. Zoe, for her inability to bear him more children.

But Mr. Leo rather ditched Mrs. Gina, as he refused to eat Gina’s food, and he avoided Gina too.

Mrs. Gina quarreled with Mrs. Zoe again, and that made Mr. Leo annoyed, as he finally brought divorce papers home.

Mr. Leo ordered Mrs. Gina to sign the divorce papers, but she refused, as she told her husband, “I’m pregnant.”

Mr. Leo couldn’t send Mrs. Gina away with his child growing in her womb, and he allowed her to stay in his mansion with them, but on one condition: that Gina would start living in the boys’ quarters apartment, away from the white mansion, and Mrs. Gina would not quarrel with Mrs. Zoe again.

Mrs. Gina accepted, as she had no other option, and she didn’t want to leave the house either.

Eight months later, Mrs. Gina gave birth to a baby girl, named Mia Adams, but Mr. Leo never came to her again to see if they could still have more children, and most importantly a son.

------------

14 years later, Mrs. Gina’s hatred for Mr. Leo and Mrs. Zoe grew worse. For it was only once in her 14 years of marriage.

Only once did Mr. Leo dare to touch her and make love to her, as he claimed that he regretted marrying her.

Mrs. Gina knew that she couldn’t leave Mr. Leo’s house again to go out and remarry, as the townspeople already mocked her for accepting to marry her best friend’s husband, and her parents didn’t support her marrying Mr. Leo at first.

But because Mrs. Gina had thought that Mr. Leo would love her, she accepted him, but he didn’t love her and rather avoided her.

Mrs. Gina knew that if she went out and got pregnant to see if she could bear a son for Mr. Leo, he would know that the son wasn’t his baby, as he only accepted Mia to live in the main mansion with them whenever Mia wanted—simply because Mia was his biological daughter, and Olima also wanted a younger sister to play with.

Mrs. Gina’s heart turned cold, and she contacted a truck driver to ram into Mr. Leo and his wife’s car, as she knew that they were going to Olima and Mia’s high school for the graduation ceremony, with Olima graduating from college, while Mia was going into a senior class.

Mrs. Gina later confirmed from the driver about his successful job, and she killed the truck driver too, to hide her secret for life.

-----------

Three months after the burial ceremony ended, Mrs. Gina first moved back into the main mansion that her late husband and his admirable wife had sent her away from, and she sacked all the housemaids and turned Olima into her servant, with Olima’s withdrawal from her tutorial class.

Their family members that had been silent started visiting the white mansion to know who would take over late Mr. Leo’s wealth and oil company, but Mrs. Gina was a brutal woman, and she arrested all her in-laws and accused them of being the ones that killed her late husband and his admirable wife.

The arrested in-laws had to bail themselves out, and they signed an undertaking note never to disturb Mrs. Gina Adams and her family again.

Mrs. Gina later contacted Mr. Leo’s lawyer to know about his will, as she remembered that Mr. Leo had told her that Olima would inherit all his properties.

Mrs. Gina could’ve killed Olima too, but she didn’t want her only daughter Mia to be alone in the big house and without a sister. So Mrs. Gina decided not to kill Olima, as she turned Olima into her lifetime maid, knowing that no one would come to Olima’s rescue.

When the lawyer arrived, he told Mrs. Gina, “Mr. Leo’s will cannot be changed. The will states that the company should be given to Olima Adams, but only when she turns 24 years old.”

Mrs. Gina got annoyed, and she thought of how she would change the will to become her own and her daughter’s property alone.
