In her entire life, Anastasia Smith had never thought that Robin Smith would ruin her in such a way.

Her husband's adultery was bad enough, but now, he had bound her mother and younger brother in a bathroom filled with gasoline.

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she would never have believed that the person who did this was her very considerate husband.

Outside the bathroom, candlelight flickered.

"Robin Smith, you bastard! They're your mother-in-law and your brother-in-law! How could you be so heartless and cruel?" Anastasia crawled to Robin's side, gripping the hem of his trousers tightly. Angered, she said, "Adultery is one thing, but why would you do this to them?"

"Why?" Robin bent down, gently stroking the woman's cheek, and gently wiped away the tears at the corner of her eyes, just as tender as usual.

"My dear wife, don't you know why?"

The gentleness in the man's eyes disappeared in an instant, replaced by cold cruelty. He suddenly tightened his grip on her neck, "All these years, if it weren't for this day, I wouldn't have been living like a dog in your Gildon family!"

The man spoke, gradually applying more pressure to her neck. His eyes held a mad and cruel bloodlust.

"In consideration of our marriage, I'll let your family reunite!"

As his words fell, Robin violently cast Anastasia aside and walked towards one of the candles.

"Don't!"

Anastasia immediately lunged forward to grasp Robin's leg, her slender hands desperately holding on as if she had used all her strength, fearing that his hand would move a step closer to the candle.

Her large and bright eyes were now filled with bloodshot, "Robin, don't. I beg you!"

A sudden thought struck her, and hope rose in her heart. She hurriedly said, "Do you know what? I'm pregnant."

"Our child... you're going to be a father. Please, for our child's sake, spare my mother and brother..."

Jessica Sandoval, who had been silently standing aside, suddenly kicked Anastasia away.

"What right do you have to bear Robin's child? Your father was the one who killed Robin's parents, leaving him an orphan. All because of your family! This is karma!"

She revealed a malicious glint in her eyes, her pointed heels forcefully stomping down several times on Anastasia's stomach.

Anastasia curled up in pain, quickly bleeding from below. Great waves of agony washed over her.

Her child... her baby...

She slumped to the floor, raising her head only to see her mother—covered with gasoline and unconscious. With her fading strength, she began moving step by step toward the bathroom, dragging a trail of blood.

Seeing this, Jessica uttered in impatient annoyance to Robin, "Look, she's lost the baby now. It's time."

Her coquettish voice seemed to irritate Robin who snapped, "I know what to do!"

Without another word, Robin strode into the bathroom. He ordered an associate to tie up Anastasia's unconscious brother and picked up a burning candle, then walked toward Anastasia's mother.

Anastasia's eyes widened in horror. Despite mustering up all her strength to resist, Jessica kept her firmly pinned down.

The tiny flame of the candle fell on her mother's body, igniting it instantly into a raging fire.

The woman amidst the flames struggled in despair for a few moments before falling to the ground with echoes of her dying screams, the air filled with the smell of charred flesh.

Anastasia's cry for help went unheard, her vision completely blurred without a tear left to shed.

She swore to herself, she will kill these two beasts!

She musters all her strength, ready to risk everything against this despicable pair.

Just then, a sharp pain shoots through her back.

"My wife, just let go..."

Robin forcefully pulls out the knife that's embedded in her back, before powerfully driving it back into her body, then he personally pushes her into the flames.

In the final moments of her fading consciousness, Anastasia watched from within the flames, as Robin took her hand from her mother with a smile.

He had promised to take care of her for a lifetime, to love and cherish her.

He had said, if he ever did anything to betray her, he would have a terrible end.

But now, why is she the one who has met a miserable end?

No, she is not resigned! Why is it that this despicable pair still lives, while her family has reached such a tragic end?

If there's a next life, she will make sure this despicable man and woman pay their dues!

Suddenly, the raging fire completely consumes Anastasia...
