The Wildrun and the River packs gathered in the mansion of the Ferrandis for a special event to celebrate an important union between their packs. Amelia Ferrandi, the daughter of Darius Ferrandi, the head of the Wildrun pack, is getting married to Harrold Bargons, the son of the head of the River pack.

"You looked nervous. Loosen up a bit, because you're going to marry your ultimate crush, the man of your dreams, Harrold," Fides Gaynes, her good friend since high school, appeared in front of her while the make-up artist was busy on her face.

"Don't remind me, Fides! You're worsening it for me!" she laughed.

Fides smirked. "I know how excited you are right now. I was so shocked that you are really willing to marry him while you're just eighteen! I mean, you are so crazy for that boy!"

"Who wouldn't, Fides?" That's Harold Bargons! She smirked.

She clearly remembered how Harold marked her on her neck when they were in high school, which convinced her that he was her mate. His father's pack was considered one of the strongest packs, including the pack of Harold's father, so when they found out about the two, they chose to reunite the two packs in order to end fights between their packs.

Amelia has been one of the popular elite not just because of the clan she's in and for being the first miss of the Ferrandi, but because she is smart, Alpha's daughter, and has a top-notch body and face that will shine in the modeling world. She has everything every woman wants.

But the only thing that they didn't like about her was her arrogance, which she wore as her crown. A feisty girl who's not afraid of anything nor fazed by someone's superiority.

She wasn't scared of alpha wolves at all. Men are always hesitant to try their luck on her because she has that bitchy face and a mouth that would slam someone's confidence if she's triggered. She has her father's temper, and no one wants to mess with her.

But because Harold has given her the attention and the consistency to pursue her, she got attracted to him.

"I will see you later, okay? Calm down!" Fides pointed at her while she walked to the door and smirked at her proudly.

Amelia just smirked at her and looked at herself in the mirror again.

Amelia radiated innocence with a touch of maturity. Her face was highlighted more. She doesn't look angelic. Her eyes were sirens that complemented her thick brows and small face, which would always pass her by to become a model because she was effortlessly fierce.

She stood after the make-up artist told her that she could now get a dress. She went into the walk-in as the servants helped her wear her long gown that showed the hourglass of her body while the end of it was so flowy that it cascaded on the floor when she walked.

"You are so pretty, Miss," the servant said while she stood in front of the mirror as they zipped it.

She only smiled. Her hair was down, and the lazy curls made her look more like a goddess of beauty who's been favored by Aphrodite so that you couldn't see any flaw in her face or her body.

After dressing up, Amelia leaned back on the couch and dozed off. She had drunk a lot of wine at last night's bachelorette party and felt headaches in the morning, so she asked the maid to prepare a glass of milk for her.

Damn, you're getting married today, and you had a hangover while drinking last night! I can't believe you, Amelia...

"Ma'am, I think Lena is planning to ruin your wedding. I overheard her planning about it," the servant said as she brought the milk she requested.

Amelia's brows knit to the core.

Lena? Oh, I really knew that girl since the first day she came into the mansion with her mother!

Lena is her half-sister from her stepmother, whom her father married, and his longtime mistress, whom she hated so much. And even her daughter boils her blood because she's not convinced she's gentle and kind, just like what she's wearing as her facade.

Half an hour later, the door was quietly pushed open, and Amelia's half-sister Lena Ferrandi walked in.

"I will make sure that you won't be able to marry Harold on this day..." Lena whispered that Amelia heard clearly.

Ever since Lena came into Amelia's life, her relationship with her father has worsened. She would always be painted as the villain, while Lena would always appear to be angelic, gentle, and nice.

She immediately earned the trust of Amelia's father, saying that Darius would always favor Lena because she knew how stubborn Amelia is.

Amelia has long accepted that she suddenly became the least favorite daughter, the black sheep of the family, and the villain painted by Lena in her father's eyes, which she didn't mind too much knowing her hatred for his father after marrying his mistress.

Does this woman really think I will let her ruin me? That I won't fight back! Oh, I will show you how to mess with the wrong Ferrandi, you two-faced bitch!

Amelia was so mad that she already knew she wouldn't let it slip.

"What are you doing here?" Amelia asked when she opened her eyes.

"I just want to talk to you for a bit," Lena said as she slowly closed the door.

When Lena and her mother came into the picture, Amelia can feel that Lena is always up on her sleeves which would ruin Amelia's name.

And now that she wanted to talk to her before her wedding day, she couldn't help but think of something else about it.

"It's about... me and... Harold..."

She completely froze in her seat as she looked at Lena.

"What about my future husband, Lena?" she asked sternly as she highlighted the husband.

"Something happened between us, Amelia," Lena said bravely.

Amelia stood and looked at her with raging anger. She has been well known for her temper and her attitude because she doesn't back down and always puts the people who would try to hurt her in their rightful places.

Lena stepped backward, and she could see the burning anger radiating in her eyes. It was the same intensity she saw the first time she came into their mansion when she saw Amelia looking at her as if she were a pest in someone's house she wanted to wipe out.

"And I'm four weeks pregnant," Lena said as she caressed her stomach.
