Diana look back at the orphanage, her handa holding her bags firmly. In the bags were the various things she would be needing like body lotion, hair cream, lip gloss, neatly folded clothes, toiletries and some other things she would be needing.

"Ana!"

"Please don't leave, stay with us please." Salem, the orphanage mistress urged her to stay.

"Salem, I can't. I need to go somewhere far away. Very faraway from here. Please give me your blessings." Diana held the older woman hands and Salem could do nothing to change the young girl's mind so she gave Diana her blessings.

Tears burn at the back of her eyes, looking back at the big orphanage gate.

Her long slender gown sweeped the tiled road as she crossed to the other side, waving her hands downwards in an attempt to stop a moving cab.

She hopped down, paid the cab driver and proceeded on her journey.

She thought about all her life. Everything in details.

She never knew her parents or maybe she just dropped down from heaven.

Fake stories, rumours going and passing through mostly all means throughout the world - so she thought.

Salem had claimed that she picked her by the roadside, which simply means that she was definitely born through someone and was dropped by the roadside.

Who does that?

Sometimes, she would freak out while listening to the rumours.

Couples who couldn't bear children, came to the orphanage to adopt a child but none of them would pick her perhaps due to her misfortune.

That same misfortune made people to be distant from her. No one wants to make friends with her, play, gist or have anything to do with her. Well, except Soy.

Soy had been her only friend since she got to be living in the orphanage. Soy would pet and make her see reasons on living in this beautiful life.

"Life is beautiful." Soy would say.

Soy had always made her see the other beautiful side of life. Soy would play with her, they go out together, they do almost everything together.

Oh! How she misses her troublesome best friend.

"Wow!" She mouthed, looking at the straight, simple and tiled street.

Tall gigantic buildings standing at both sides of the road, shops neatly arranged at the right hand side - right where she was standing. And even people moving, walking to and fro on the street - most of then were corporately dressed. Such a beautiful sight to behold in an early morning.

Everyone tagged her parents as witches and sorcerers.

But now, she is determined to forget about her past life and move on.

She would try and look for a job even if its a dirty job, focus on the present life and what the future would hold.
