"Madam, please wake up!" The person trying to wake me up, started to shake my arms. I just groaned as a response as I covered my face with a pillow. I suddenly felt the movement of the bed, pertaining to someone's weight being on the bed other than me. Now that person's beside me, and is shaking my whole body now.
"Come on, Mathilda!" I growled at her whilst massaging my head. I pouted and then started lashing at her with a pillow a couple of times. When I finally left my bed, she started to clean it and handed me a towel.
I looked at the time on my wrist watch. Half an hour and a half more and I'll surely be late. I decided to take a half bath instead as I was in a hurry. I closed my eyes as I felt the water through my skin, this lasted not more than three minutes; not long after, I started to clean up my body in the bathtub.
After that, needless to say, I wore my clothes, combed my hair and even wore a hair clip. I looked at myself through the mirror. Oh no, my eyebrows shouldn't not be left raw. I picked light brown for my beautiful eyebrows.
Mathilda is one of our maids. In fact, she's one of the maids who decided not to leave the mansion. When my parents died because of an accident, I fired a lot of servants and maids. They didn't hide their real natures anymore. They even sided with my evil Aunt-Aunt Claudia. I really can't believe she'll change right after my parents died.
Actually, it's their death anniversary tomorrow. I really wish they're here. The accident happened exactly on my birthday. So I really don't want to celebrate my birthdays anymore. It's so precious to me before, but everything changed as time passed by.
"Please eat, Madam," Mathilda said. And then saw the favorite dishes she likes to serve. As usual, ham and egg.
"You have a visitor, Madam," announced one of the maids. I don't know her name though. As far as I know, she's new here. She looks nice with those chinita eyes and long straight hair. Besides, she has those eyes that are like an angel. She even looked like she's not Mathilda's niece. They are so different.
I clapped as a gesture to the maid to let the guest enter.
"Look who's here!" I faked a gasp.
She's my cousin. Her name is Elianore and we have the same surname. It sucks. Licea doesn't suit her at all. She's older than me but we are in the same batch.
"I have an update." Her smile was obviously fake. Her face is angelic. Most of our schoolmates said that we are almost alike. It really disgusts me! I always feel like everytime she's here, she's bringing bad omen along with her.
She started to grin when her eyes caught sight of the glass of water I am holding.
"Oh, it seems like the beverage you're drinking has lost its color, I also noticed, lately, that's the only thing you're always eating." Her arms crossed. "Sorry, Siello. It seems like you're getting poorer. Why don't you give up your shares, right? Your sister can't handle it after all."
I smiled.
"Obviously, you are asking me to give up our share to your family. You're so pathetic. Soybean was the only meal you can eat before, and when you were given a pack of lechon, you even want more."
Our grandparents started from zero. They had a small business before and divided it among their children. My dad is able to manage it and so our company became a corporation. On the other hand, his brother, Uncle Domian, his company was bankrupted.
"You will get what you deserve, Sienna Louella Licea," she threatened. Her eyes looked at me as she purposely widened them.
"Oh my! It's so scary!"
I stood from my seat and didn't bother finishing my meal after she left.
I brushed my teeth and retouched my make-up the moment I got comfortable inside the car. Inside the car, our attorney was waiting. He's one of my trusted people. In fact, he's more like my uncle than my blood-related uncle.
"Madam, I have something to tell you," he started.
"Proceed," was my response. Robert also started the car.
"Your shares in the company are in danger. You've lost a lot of investments this past few months. Most of the shareholders are now siding with Ma'am Claudia. She wants to expel your older sister as soon as possible."
My older sister is not well. She has cancer. It started two years before our parents died. And because she's the eldest, she has to sacrifice her health for the company. We can't put in vain what our parents started. We made an oath, we are going to fight for our rights.
"Since when did it start?" I asked while putting on my concealer.
"It has been a long time, four months. In those four months, the problem worsened. Your older sister, Saina, has been absent from a lot of conference meetings, it's probably one of the reasons." I started to feel anxious and worried. My sister didn't tell me this. I understand that she's worried about my studies but it's not right for her to fight on her own. I am here.
"Here, Miss Siello. The documents." I was dumbfounded when I saw the folders he handed to me. I am not good at this. I heaved a deep sigh.
"But there's one more possible way to help you and your company, your shares will rise as well. The result will not only double the success but triple."
"It's to be married with a rich man's heir." My jaw dropped because of the words he uttered.
I crossed my arms and next thing I knew, I was already in my school. My steps were hurried, afraid that I might not be on time.
"Gosh! Don't you have eyes?!" I shouted at the long-haired guy with glasses. He's wearing a pair of baggy pants that he might have thought that perfectly suited with the uniform. So nasty!
"Sorry. I really am in a hurry. Maybe you know where-"
"Don't you dare talk to me. I don't even know you." I placed the strands of my hair on my ear.
I continued to move forward but stopped after a few steps. My conscience knocked me.
He turned.
"What's your question?"
When he turned, the first thing I noticed was his eyes. It seems like they're pretty.
"Where can I find Star 1 Class A?" I pointed to the fourth room from our spot.
