"Lili, Lili..."

Listening to the desperately loud calls coming from within earshot, Lu Lili slowly opened her heavy eyelids.

"Lili, you're awake? You nearly scared me to death!" Upon hearing Lu Lili's cry, tears started rolling down the lady's cheek. She reached out and stroked Lu Lili's cheek tenderly, pleading, "Promise me you won't do such silly things again. If Luo Qingcheng wants to call off the engagement, let her be. Our Lu family simply can't rival the Luo family..."
