I am Alexa brown , i have brown hair loves to listen to music a lot, lives with my parent in California not until i moved to lose Angeles in other to further my studies . 　　Mum ,dad I screamed with joy when I saw them , I hugged them tightly . You look more beautiful my mum said and watched my dad frowned .

　　" Isn't she beautiful before ''my dad said and we but burst into laughter . Something travelled into my nose and I knew it was the aroma of my mum's food . I dropped my luggage and quickly ran to where the aroma was coming from . I stopped at the dining to see different food on the table . Wow , mum you cooked my favourite food I said taking a spoonful of the pasta . I told her to cook it because it is your favourite my dad said and my mum frowned at him . "Atleast I cooked it " my mum said and they started arguing . I watched them argue , after all this years they haven't changed . I sneaked into my room without their presence . First thing I did was to jump into my bed . Oh I miss you so much I pout my lips while patting my bed . I can be crazy sometimes, not to someone but to myself . I stripped naked and walked to my bathroom , I walked to the mirror standing beside my bath tub . I looked at my reflection at the mirror and saw I was still the way I was. I envied my hips , some girls are dying to have my hips .

　　"But I was here busy staring at it without using it" . I don't believe in love in fact I don't have interest in guys . Man only leaves us with scars so what is the point of loving . I can never forget what happened to me when I was in grade 8 , I almost lost my virginity . Let me not go deep into it . I quickly had my bathe and walked out of the bathroom dripping wet . I was still naked so I used a towel to wrap my body .

　　My phone rings and I checked the screen to see it was rose my bestie .

　　I knew she will be happy if she discover I am in califonia . I picked it up , : Hi rose I said through the phone .

　　:"Why didn't you tell me you have arrived at califonia" her voice echo into my ear. I had to put the phone at the left side of my ear . :I just arrived I said to her .

　　:How did you get to find out I asked . :Mum told me she said sharply and I smiled .

　　:Don't forget the job I asked you to find I reminded her . :Trust me on that she said and I smiled . :What can I ever do with you I pouted .

　　: Oh my food Is burning she said through the phone and ended the call. I can't stop laughing she can be crazy at times , What a friend . Rose and I has started our friendship since childhood , she can act crazy , but trust me she is a cool girl . She understands me better than anyone and I love her for that .

　　I quickly wore a long gown and went to join both mum and dad downstairs . "Why did you leave like that" my mom was the first to pop me with question .

　　That is because I don't want to interfere in your arguement I said to them and they watch me in awe . Tell us what happened in califonia my mom blurted out and I told them everything . Wow that was great my dad said and I smile cheaply . I didn't hear you speak of any guy my mom said out of blue and my dad nuge her shoulder so she could keep shut . She is my daughter I have the right to ask her and moreover she is old enough to date my mum added staring at me .

　　I didn't know what to say , my finger was now in my mouth, thinking of a lie . Mum don't worry when I get a man you will be the first person to know I assured her thinking she was satisfied but I was wrong . Alexa just bring a man home that is when i will believe you she said and i rolled my eyes . "Mum" but i just graduated I said , And so , you are our only daughter , or did you want to see me die without a grand child she said and my dad tap her . It is enough , she is not a kid , she knows what is best for her my dad said and I smiled at him. That is one thing I love about my dad , he doesn't push me to do what I don't want to do .

　　I could remember what happened to me in high school , he was there for me and always tell me to take my time . My phone beeped " I just find you a job , the interview start at 9 am on Monday. Thanks dear -sent Today is Saturday , I have today and tomorrow to prepare . I walked into my room after telling my parent good night . I need to rest . I didn't bother to undress , i just lay on my bed , in no time i was already in my own world .
