Introduction
I was her ocean, when she needed a spring Her moon, when she chased her stars A rush of the wind, but all she wanted was to feel the breeze. I was her black and white, when all she saw was the colors in the sky Blue, red, pink and all, she counted them out loud with her brother Edward so absorbed. Two lines, ohh where do they meet Preordained destinies, they said But love was all she whispered in my ears. I always believed love was a mistake, a beautiful one maybe but still something that was eventually bound to break. It never made sense to me how two people could promise forever in a world that had a thing for tearing people apart. I learned that to early in life, watching people leave first my father, then little by little the thought of people leaving didn’t scare me as much. I stopped believing in things lasting, people change and promises did too. Then I met Azrielle Adeh, walking into my life like as if she had always belonged here, like a love story that was meant to be. And for the first in my lifetime, love felt real like something I could hold in my hands and still lose, I didn’t want to lose this, lose her. But as luck may have it sometimes love isn’t enough when life says otherwise.

But love was all she whispered in my ears.

“I have heard you say that today three times already”, “well let’s make it four.”

They continued walking towards their lecture hall in silence, then suddenly Sloan breaks the silence as usual. “ You know what your problem is?” She asked. “ naa but I have a feeling you would love to educate me on it,” “ You never do anything fun.”

Azrielle paused, raising her eyebrows in the process, “ That’s my problem?, I really doubt that.”

“ That’s definitely your problem Azrielle, you’re twenty for God’s sake.” ” And how is that a problem?” Azrielle asked. “ You literally just study, stay home and spend your free time with either Edward or me.” “That’s sad and boring darling”, “ Urghh it’s called being responsible, you weirdo“. “ I highly doubt that princess.”

Azrielle rolled her eyes, trying to cover up the fact that her best friend's words got to her and maybe Sloan was right.

After lectures which ended pretty early today , Azrielle and Sloan stepped outside and realized that the rain had started falling heavily, classic London.

Her phone vibrated with a message from Edward popping up on her phone screen,

Edward: The driver is on his way.

She sighed replying to his message , Azrielle: I have a car Edward, did you forget that useful information.

Edward: I know but it isn’t safe to drive in this weather, so the driver is coming to pick you and Sloan, end of discussion.

Sighing in defeat , she sits on the bench telling Sloan what a brother texted her. She watches other people run towards their cars or the bus, whilst she has to wait for the driver. Again.

“ Your brother is ridiculous” , “ I know.” “No seriously, he acts like a paranoid mother “, Azrielle laughed just as a black car parks in front of them, perfect timing.

“ Azrielle listen to me,” Sloan said loudly, “ Stop shouting Sloan and let’s go home dude, I am quite exhausted.” “ One day you would rebel,” Sloan said. “ I highly doubt that Sloan” Azrielle replied, as they entered the car.
