Within a city where every inch of land is worth its weight in gold, a sturdy villa nestled in the hills stands tall and proud within a private garden.
The deafening music were enough excitement, causing them to become exhilarated to the extreme. Multicolored lights cast varying hues on everyone's faces and bodies.
Men and women hugged passionately, releasing their repressed desires in the sizable reception hall of the villa. The lust in their eyes could hardly be masked.
The competing smoke gets a unique flavor under the dancing lights.
Despite being a luxurious villa, it now appears to be nothing more than an extravagant hub for carnal pleasures - corruption at its peak!
A figure sprawls across the main chair in the grand hall. The face hidden, yet under this ill-defined play of light and shadow, out of all the women twisting their sexy waists and revealing their alluring breasts, she appears to be the most "conservative" one. Wearing a strapless white dress, she doesn't hide any of her desirable qualities.
Yet she isn't neglected amidst the madness. On the contrary, flocked continuously by persistent admirers, but she remains nonchalant.
"Miss Hall, what's gotten into you today? You're never like this usually! You're the star of the show every night…"
A seductive woman, clad in a sequined bikini, sauntered up to Sophia Snow. Compared to her flamboyant dance earlier in the center of the dance-floor, she now squatted down to speak.
Hall Snow looked up, slowly straightened her back, and glanced at the woman squatting beside her. The corner of her mouth curved upwards as she held the woman's chin, drawing her in abruptly.
"What's wrong, darling? Missing me up there?"
Her voice was slightly husky, but for some unknown reason, the way the words tumbled out from Hall Snow's mouth was tantalizing. Her slightly parted lips inviting, but not a single soul here dared to make a move!
Because she…
She was…
"Bang!"
A thunderous noise abruptly cut off all the clamor. The doors to the mansion were violently thrown open.
"Get out!" Donald Clover glared at the scene before him, his eyebrows slightly furrowed as he yelled in a low voice.
Everyone in the mansion probably knew what was going to happen as soon as the doors were forcefully opened, everyone that is, except for Hall Snow.
Hall Snow, the daughter of the Hall's family, wasn't just their precious heiress; she was also Donald Clover's woman. In this luxurious mansion, one of the best in the city, probably no one but Donald Clover would dare to barge in so recklessly.
Without a second thought, everyone hurriedly evacuated. The vast mansion was left with only Hall Snow and Donald Clover.
The sound of Donald Clover's steps on the expensive crystal floor tiles echoed through the expansive hall.
Hall Snow, seemingly uncaring, lifted her gaze to meet the man in front of her, expressionless.
By now, the multi-colored lights in the hall were turned off, leaving the entrance hall brightly illuminated.
Donald Clover walked to Hall Snow, his gaze fixed on the woman in front of him, his frown growing deeper: "Go clean your face now!"
"What, find it too dirty?"Hall Snow said nonchalantly.
Her heavy make-up looked enticing under the dim light, but the bright lights laid bear a paleness, the dark circles under her eyes, all the heavy make-up could not hide.
The affluent who had more money than they could spend, they all knew that Miss Hall Snow once indulged in drugs.
Donald Clover said nothing, his eyebrows furrowed even deeper.
He stepped forward, grabbing Hall Snow's wrist: "Do you really think I won't lay a hand on you!"
"Dare! What Can Mr. Donald not do?" Hall Snowexclaims with disdain.
Hall Snow emphasizes her words intentionally, with a sense of mockery.
"You!"
The typically cold face of Donald Clover instantly becomes fierce, squeezing Hall Snow's hand so tightly it hurt.
Hall Snow didn't cry out. She just bit her lips to hold back the pain. Her body was already weak enough. As a woman who just recovered from a drug addiction, any slight harm could kill her.
The man in front of her was Hall Snow's brother, such a term was not literal though, Hall Snow's mother had died early, when Hall Snow was only ten.
Hall Snow's father, Hall Xavier, is the leader of the Hall Group. The love story between him and her mother was famous in the commercial circle. When the mother died, the father was devastated.
However, two years after her death, her father married another woman who reportedly was his junior at university and she brought with her a boy, Donald Clover.
Initially,Hall Snow was suspicious of Donald Clover. In this rich and distinguished family, no one would readily accept a child with no blood relation to them, especially in the top-class Hall family.
However, when Hall snow secretly sent their hairs for a DNA test, it showed that they were not biologically related.
Having two more guests in the house, Hall Snow didn’t mind.
But Hall Snow was wrong, completely, and so was her father!
Hall Xavier, the man whose words could shake the entire commercial circle, the man who doted on Hall Snow the most, also left her when she turned 18.
He died from the same cause as her mother's: a car crash.
"Look at me, Hall Snow!" Donald Clover demanded.
Donald Clover gripped Hall Snow's slender chin, pulling her thoughts back to reality.
"So what?"Hall Snow retorted, her anger replaced by laughter. "Are you still not content? The Hall corporation has become the Clover Corporation, and now that I've managed to pull myself out from the effects of drug addiction, what game are you trying to play now, my dear brother!"
"Hall Snow, you know well that I love you!"
Tenderness, mingled with agony, filled Donald Clover's face as he held Hall Snow's hand, gently stroking her cheek as if she was the most precious treasure in the world.
Watching Donald Clover's sharply defined face, Hall Snow only offered a slight smile, showing no other reaction. Donald Clover scooped her up and carried her to a room on the second floor. The room was entirely white, an arrangement made by the man standing before her, as he once confessed his fondness for her pure, flawless, white persona. Yet, what was he thinking when he watched her being injected with drugs! All he cared about was the Hall family's wealth!
Donald Clover gently set Hall Snow to rest by the bed, her delicate face, still beautiful despite the thick makeup unable to hide her haggardness, caused his heart to wrench painfully. He carefully swept her hair aside.
Hall Snow's seductive red lips continually tempting him.
"May I?"
