Introduction
Before meeting Emily, Gabriel was considered a “not quite normal” man—his self-control around women rivaled that of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. But after meeting her, Gabriel realized he was far more ordinary, and far braver, than he thought. Emily was on the verge of being forced into marriage with a lecherous old man in his sixties when Gabriel seemingly descended from the heavens. "Marry me," he declared. "Why?" Emily asked, confused. "If you marry me, you can escape the old creep. Plus, you can use me as a scapegoat whenever you need." It was a tempting offer. She knew she would shoulder the cost of marriage, while Gabriel would handle the spending. His promise gave her everything she desired, and the conditions were perfect. "I’ll marry you, but on one condition. After we’re married, we’ll have separate rooms, separate beds, and absolutely no children. We’ll only live together.” "Deal," Gabriel agreed without hesitation. But that night, after they received their marriage certificate, everything changed. "We had an agreement! This is a contract marriage!" Emily shouted, clutching the marriage certificate. "I want a divorce, Gabriel!" she screamed. Now, Emily faces a choice: Will she accept the new terms? Will she grow to love Gabriel? Or will the contract rule their lives once more?

Jane Hotel, New York City.

"Have you arrived? I've been waiting for you for a long time." Edward's low and gentle voice came from the other end of the phone. Emily had already left the hotel after receiving the call.

"I'll be there right away." With that, she pushed the door open and entered the hotel lobby.

It was her fiance, Edward, who had called her.

Today was their engagement ceremony. He asked her to go to the Plaza Hotel today, saying that there would be a surprise for her.

Although her fiance, Edward, was the only heir to one of the four prominent families in the city, he kept a low profile and respected her very much.

From the time they got to know each other to the engagement, their most intimate action was just to hold each other's arm.

The hotel was very big, and it was the first time Emily had come to such a big hotel. She was a little dizzy.

She asked two people and then took the elevator to the magnificent top floor.

Emily was tall and slender. She wore a white T-shirt with a small round collar, and light-colored, close-fitting pencil pants decorated her slender legs. Her palm-sized face was white and beautiful, and her clear, almond-shaped eyes had a hint of charm. She was smart and charming.

Because her fiance, Edward, had urged her several times, she was a little anxious.

Because she left in a hurry, she was a little short of breath. When she walked to the door, she took a breath and looked up at the number on the door. When she was about to knock on the door, she found that the door was unlocked.

"Edward..." She pushed the door open subconsciously.

After entering, she was stunned.

A man with only a bath towel just pulled off the towel under his body.

"Ah..." Seeing this, Emily screamed subconsciously and closed her eyes. "Sorry, I didn't do it on purpose."

Gabriel Dalton just came out of the bathroom after taking a shower and was about to put on his clothes.

When he heard Emily's scream, his eyes became cold. His cold and sharp eyes swept over the door, and he quickly wrapped up the bath towel again.

After his piercingly cold gaze fell on Emily's charming face, he was slightly stunned, and a trace of surprise flashed across his eyes.

But only for a moment, his eyes became mysterious and unfathomable.

"It's you." Gabriel's voice was deep and pleasant to listen to. No one could tell whether he was happy or angry.

Hearing these four words, Emily's eyebrows twitched, and she opened her eyes subconsciously.

A handsome face broke into her pupils.

Gabriel was standing in front of her. His figure was tall and straight, and his facial features were as sharp as blades and axes. He was so handsome that he looked like a perfect work of art. His nose was tall and straight, and he looked noble. His deep black eyes were long and charming, but they were as cold as a cold pool, with an unapproachable coldness and alienation.

He was wrapped in a bath towel, with his upper body naked. His well-built chest was fair and had a faint, charming color. Every inch of his skin was tight and attractive. There was no excess flesh on his thin waist. A few drops of wet water were sliding down his perfect mermaid line.

Emily looked at Gabriel, who had stood in front of her at some point in time. She was shocked, and her eyes widened.

The first feeling Gabriel gave her was that it was so cold. She looked at him as if she were in an ice cellar.

The second feeling was that Gabriel was so handsome and lawless.

The third feeling was that he looked familiar, but he couldn't remember where he had seen him.

Then she looked up at Gabriel and apologized again with an embarrassed face. "Sorry, I didn't break in on purpose. Sorry to disturb you. I'll leave right away."

When she was about to turn around, she was pulled into the room by a slender and strong arm and pressed against the wall next to the door.

Emily looked shocked and looked at Gabriel in panic. "What are you doing?"

Gabriel's long and narrow eyes locked the panic in her eyes, and her deep and magnetic voice could not tell whether she was happy or angry. "You saw what you should not have seen, so you want to leave like this?"

Emily met Gabriel's gaze, which was as deep as a deep pool, and said, "I shouldn't have seen it. What do you think?"

Gabriel narrowed his eyes and asked in a low and deep voice, "What do you think? Do you think that men can be seen by others at will?"

As for the man...

When she was thinking about where the man was, a clear and pleasant smell of a man came to her. Gabriel, who leaned over to her, whispered in her ear, "If you were seen by a stranger, how would you feel? Will there be hundreds of thousands of mud horses galloping in your heart?"

Men like him, who had never allowed other women to get close to him, cared about this matter very much.

Emily widened her mouth when she heard Gabriel's words. Her face was full of surprise. Wasn't this man too humorous?

But when he spoke, his expression was very deep and cold, as if he were very serious.

In combination with what he said, she came to her senses and blushed. She immediately clarified, "You misunderstood me. I didn't see anything."

"You said you wanted to see it again."
