The rain fell heavily over the city, washing the streets beneath a dark and restless sky. Neon lights reflected across the wet roads as expensive cars moved through the midnight traffic. Somewhere beyond the crowded streets, inside an abandoned warehouse, several armed men waited in complete silence.

They were waiting for their king.

For three years, everyone believed Dante Romano was dead.

Three years ago, the most feared Mafia boss in the city had disappeared after a bloody ambush. His enemies had celebrated. His rivals had taken control of his territory. Even some of his closest allies had betrayed his name.

But tonight, everything was about to change.

A black limousine stopped outside the warehouse.

The rear door opened.

A tall man stepped into the rain.

He wore a perfectly fitted black suit, his dark hair slightly wet from the storm. His face was calm, but his cold eyes carried something far more dangerous than anger.

He was Dante Romano.

The Mafia King.

The guards outside immediately lowered their heads.

"Boss."

Dante walked past them without saying a word.

Inside the warehouse, more than twenty men stood waiting. The moment Dante entered, every conversation stopped.

Marco, his most trusted lieutenant, stepped forward.

For a moment, he simply stared.

"Boss..."

Dante stopped.

"You look surprised."

Marco gave a nervous smile. "We thought you were dead."

"Most people did."

Dante removed his gloves and placed them on the table.

"That's exactly why I survived."

Marco looked at him carefully. "Why did you come back now?"

Dante's expression darkened.

"Because someone made a mistake."

He placed a black folder on the table.

Marco opened it.

Inside were photographs of several men, bank records, secret meeting locations, and details about weapons shipments.

At the top of the documents was one name.

Victor Moretti.

Marco's face became serious.

"Moretti?"

Dante nodded.

"He believed that killing me would give him my empire."

"And did he?"

Dante slowly looked around the warehouse.

"No."

His voice was quiet, but every man in the room heard him.

"He only gave me a reason to take it back."

Marco closed the folder.

"Boss, Moretti controls half the city now. He has politicians, police officers, and hundreds of men working for him."

Dante gave a cold smile.

"Then we'll take everything from him."

One of the younger soldiers stepped forward.

"But Boss, if everyone knows you're alive, they'll come after you."

Dante looked at him.

"Let them."

The room became silent again.

Dante had never been afraid of his enemies.

He had built his empire from nothing. He had survived betrayal, bullets, and bloodshed. He had lost people he loved and learned never to trust easily again.

But there was one thing he had never forgotten.

His family.

Marco suddenly placed another photograph on the table.

"There is something else."

Dante looked at it.

His eyes immediately hardened.

It was a photograph of his younger sister leaving a restaurant.

Behind her stood several unknown men.

"They've been following her for two weeks," Marco said.

Dante's jaw tightened.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"We didn't know where you were."

Dante picked up the photograph.

"Who ordered this?"

"We're still investigating."

Dante stared at the picture for several seconds.

Then his phone rang.

The unknown number flashed across the screen.

He answered.

"Who is this?"

For several seconds, there was only breathing.

Then a woman's frightened voice whispered through the phone.

"Please... help me."

Dante stood completely still.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Elena Rossi."

Dante's eyes narrowed.

"What happened?"

"I don't know where I am. They brought me here because they think I know something about you."

Dante exchanged a look with Marco.

"Who brought you?"

"I don't know."

A loud noise suddenly came from the woman's side.

She gasped.

"They're coming back."

Dante's voice became colder.

"Elena, listen to me. Where are you?"

"I... I don't know."

A gunshot exploded through the phone.

Elena screamed.

Then the call ended.

For a moment, nobody moved.

Marco looked at Dante.

"Boss?"

Dante slowly lowered the phone.

"Find her."

Marco immediately turned to the men.

"You heard him! Move!"

The soldiers rushed toward the exits.

Dante remained standing in the middle of the warehouse.

He didn't know who Elena Rossi was.

He didn't know what she knew.

But someone had made the mistake of involving her in his war.

And Dante Romano never left debts unpaid.

He walked toward the door.

Marco followed him.

"Where are you going?"

Dante looked back.

"To find the woman who just called me."

"And if Moretti is behind this?"

Dante's eyes became ice-cold.

"Then tonight, Victor Moretti learns that the Mafia King is alive."

Thunder shook the sky.

Dante stepped into the rain.

Three years of silence were over.

The city had forgotten him.

His enemies had grown comfortable.

His empire had been stolen.

But now the king had returned.

And this time, he wasn't coming back to rule peacefully.

He was coming back for revenge.
