"Thunk!"

A fountain pen pierced the center of Shen Keke's palm. Unstoppable beads of blood bubbled out, and a sharp pang of pain confirmed that this was not a dream!

Looking at the two figures entangled with each other on her phone screen, her blood felt like it was boiling.

When she first met Xu Shangqi, he lied about being engaged with her, only to treat her coldly afterwards.

She initially thought he was merely going through some ennui, but she had never expected that he was intimate with a man!

What was more shocking, was that they had the audacity to carry on within her own household!

While Shen Keke didn't discriminate against homosexuality, having it happen in her personal life was hard to accept.

Looking at the pair of men entranced in passion on her screen, she felt sick to her stomach.

The most unacceptable aspect for her was that her fiancé was the one on the receiving end!

An explicit scene from her phone flashed in her mind. Ignoring the strange glances from her colleagues, she took her phone and dashed into the stairway, redialing a number over and over again.

After what seemed like forever, the dial tone finally stopped, and she bit back her anger to ask, "What are you doing?"

"Work, do you need something?" came Xu Shangqi's breathless reply from the other end

Seeing through his blatant indifference towards her, she found it ironic. Unable to suppress her rage, she snapped, "Working? Do you think I'm a fool?"

There was rustling of clothes over the phone before an annoyed response, "Could you please act mature? If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be having such a hard time..."

"For me? Hard work?" Shen Keke pierced his excuse with a sarcastic laugh. "So this 'hard work' with the guy in your bed, that’s for me too, I suppose?"

"What do you mean? Don't you trust me?" Xu Shangqi paused for three seconds on the phone, feigning anger.

"At this point, are you still pretending? Xu Shangqi, everything is clear in the surveillance! You are truly disgusting, let me tell you, we are done!" Shen Kekr felt like she was going crazy, having been tricked by such a nauseating man for so long.

"You actually installed surveillance cameras at home? Are you insane..." Suddenly realizing something, anger flared up in him. However, the call had already been hung up.

Looking at the disconnected call, Xu Shangqi first scanned his surroundings, removed the surveillance, and with a somber face looked at the smoking rogue next to him. He leaned towards his ear and slowly said amidst the swirling smoke,

"This matter has become a bit troublesome, she has found out. Help me with something, and the benefits will be yours to enjoy..."

Still unaware that her surveillance had been discovered, Shen Kekr curled up in the corner after hanging up, sobbing quietly.

So this was where the youthful years of her past three years had gone!

Just as she was indulging in her emotions, a shadow appeared above her.

Feeling the presence of someone and seeing the familiar face, she was startled to hiccup.

Covering her mouth hurriedly, she muttered, "Mr. Gu...hic...good!"

Gu Jun looked indifferently at the woman in front of him. Her eyebrows were slightly creased, her apricot eyes red from crying, and her petite, firm nose under which her slender and fair hands covered her mouth. Her slightly curly hair fell on her shoulders, and she looked as cautious and guarded as a little rabbit.

She was so naive, it was no wonder she'd been tricked.

Unaware of his amused gaze, Shen Kekr quickly escaped this embarrassing scene.

With no mindset to work, she walked distraught on the streets, watching couples come and go, a touch of melancholy arose in her heart.

Shen Kekr did not want to return to that so-called home anymore.

The situation had escalated to this point, and she didn't want to see Xu Shangqi anymore.

Her heart was filled with pent-up frustration, so she hailed a cab and headed to a bar near her hotel.

The loud and bustling atmosphere allowed her to relax quite a bit. Immersed in the stimulation brought about by neon lights and alcohol, Shen Kekke swayed her drink in hand, her gaze blurred, and blurted out a curse.

"Trash Xu Shangqi!"

Suddenly, a burly man rushed straight towards her, bumping into her. She lifted her head, but all she saw was his retreating figure.

Shen Kekke somehow found him familiar.

Taking a look at her fizzling drink, she downed it in one go. It was only then that she realized who that man was!

The adulterer! Xu Shangqi's adulterer!

Anger instantly welled within her, and she wobbled to her feet, intoxicated from the drinks, wanting to catch up to him. However, she only took two steps before veering off to one side.

She didn't feel the pain of crashing into the floor because a man had caught her just in time, but the adulterer was nowhere to be seen.

Upon realizing this, Shen Kekke's eyes welled up with unshed tears, feeling so pitiful and not understanding why her day took a turn for the worse.

Her lips parted, and without sparing the man holding her a glance, she started venting her emotions out loud, "Trash Xu Shangqi! Trash adulterer! Trash boss!"

Feeling a tightening in his embrace, she struggled uncomfortably. Then she felt a flame of an unknown origin surge within her body.

Her skin was blazing hot, and by instinct, she climbed onto the man, letting out a whimper.

Seeing the stunning woman in his arms, the man could tell that something was wrong with her. Remembering the image of her, like a little hamster, scrambling to escape, he couldn't help but chuckle and carried her out of the bar.

Thrown onto the bed, a surge of fiery desire was suddenly stirred up in Shen Keke. Rolling restlessly on the bed until a warm, solid body pressed on her.

The moment she felt a pair of icy hands wandering on her body, she started, becoming more awake.

She swayed her aching head, instinctively trying to push away the man in front of her. However, the fiery yearning inside of her was growing increasingly intense, leaving her parched and unable to resist as she clumsily kissed the tip of the man's nose.

Satisfied with her inexperienced actions, the man chuckled lightly, lapping at her like a storm on a delicate flower.

Shen Keke felt like a small boat drifting in a sea of massive waves. A sense of unease made her cling onto the man tightly, digging her nails into his back, leaving several red marks.

The mild sting seemed to fuel the man's actions, intensifying them. His deep magnetic voice chuckled, "Heh, what a little wildcat."

Shen Keke felt incredibly familiar with his voice, but before she could think about it further, she was interrupted by vigorous movements, leaving only pleasure.

Looking at the flushed face and dazed eyes of Shen Keke, the man playfully halted his actions and slowly asked,

"Shen Keke, are you satisfied yet?"

This sentence felt like Shen Keke had been splashed with a basin of cold water, becoming fully awake.

Rubbing her eyes, she looked at the man in front of her, her mind buzzing.. The previously blissful intimacy also lost its magic.

What a disaster! How could it be Gu Jun!

"President Gu...How did we...?" Shen Keke was stunned, unable to believe the man in front of her.

After a moment, Shen Keke came back to her senses, hurriedly using her hand to push on Gu Jun's chest, indicating him to leave. However, the pain subtly accompanies the feelings in her body, causing her to unconsciously cover her mouth, letting out a faint sound.

And Gu Jun, knowing that she has awakened, smirked, his black eyes intense. His words, however, left her ashen-faced.

"Absent from work without reason, flirting and insulting the boss in a bar? Tell me, how should I punish you?"
