Introduction
When opening her eyes, Casiane Alfonso realized the man she'd just spent the night with was her ex-husband - the man she'd divorced a year ago. Back then, Casiane had taken her sister's place, marrying Diego Fernsby. He was a tycoon, the city's pinnacle of wealth, who'd fallen into a coma after an unfortunate car accident. As soon as Diego woke up, he pushed her away and wanted her sister back in his life. So, Casiane decided to leave without looking back! However, Diego unexpectedly drew her back into his life and fell in love with her. He held her close in his arms, a finger under her chin tilting her face up towards him. "How could you even think about leaving me?" "But, you were supposed to be engaged to my sister," she whispered back. Diego's answer was steadfast as he said, "It may have been so, but it's you who I ended up marrying. You are, now and forever, my Mrs. Fernsby!"

In the presidential suite, on the top floor of a luxurious hotel.

A tall and commanding man stood next to a massive window.

He was dressed in a perfectly tailored smoky gray suit with a black vest, matching black trousers, showcasing a flawless physique.

While his silhouette in the window appeared hazy, his sharp profile and an air of unattainable elegance were evident in the dimly lit room.

"Why did you invite me here this time?" A beautiful woman in a white bathrobe emerged from the bathroom. Her voice was tinged with curiosity and laziness.

"To try something different!" The man turned to face her, and a spark of interest lit up his handsome features.

"What do you mean by 'something different'?" Casiane Alfonso flipped her wavy locks and fluttered her eyelashes.

The man picked up a remote control nearby and pressed a button.

Then the curtains behind him retracted slowly, revealing a panoramic,180-degree view through the floor-to-ceiling transparent glass window.

"Wow, the view here is amazing!" Casiane exclaimed, and her eyes were wide with amazement.

She hurriedly approached the window, taking in the cityscape.

Gazing at the city lights that stretched into the distance, she felt as though the entire city lay at her feet.

"Do you like it here?" The man removed his suit jacket, casually tossing it aside, and walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her slender waist. His scorching breath tickled her ear.

"Mm-hmm." Casiane nodded without hesitation.

"We'll do it right here tonight..." The man's deep, intense eyes suddenly smoldered as he placed a passionate kiss on her neck.

"Wait..." Casiane hurriedly pushed him away, turning to face him with flushed cheeks. "Uhm... Are you saying we're doing here by the window?"

"This is the top floor of the hotel. No one will see us," the man seemed to guess her thoughts, and a hint of a smile played across his dark, enigmatic eyes. His typically stern face softened.

"No... ugh..." Casiane tried to protest, but his kiss silenced her.

The man leaned down, pinning her against the window.

Behind Casiane was the clear, cold glass pane, and in front of her was his fiery, masculine presence.

His dominant kiss, tinged with the taste of alcohol, overwhelmed her senses.

Soon, his overpowering male pheromones clouded her mind, and her body grew feeble.

The intense male pheromones he emitted were overwhelming, as if they could completely engulf her.

Casiane couldn't resist, and she didn't want to.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and responded to his kiss.

If he wanted something more intense tonight, she was willing to go along.

Casiane and this man had met a year ago at a cruise party. She admitted that she was drawn to him at first sight, captivated by his flawless appearance.

Coincidentally, she had finalized her divorce with Diego Fernsby that day and was restless. She had a few drinks and approached him, striking up a conversation.

To Casiane's surprise, he was enticed by her, and they ended up in bed on the cruise that very night.

For the past year, they had maintained this intimate relationship, meeting every month to engage in their most private activities.

But apart from their contact information, they knew little about each other.

...

Casiane was woken by the glaring sunlight in the morning.

Her eyes flickered, and as soon as she opened them, she felt as if her entire body had been run over.

Last night, they'd been at it until three or four in the morning, and near the end, she had barely had the energy to even gasp.

Casiane turned to look at the man sleeping beside her; he was still in deep slumber.

Casiane cautiously lifted the covers and prepared to get out of bed, but her legs gave way, and she tumbled to the floor.

Fortunately, the floor was covered with thick lambswool carpet, so she wasn't hurt.

But it was clear that she had overindulged herself.

Casiane struggled to her feet and took a hot shower in the bathroom.

Staring at her naked self in the bathroom mirror, Caisiane found her body covered in marks, vivid reminders of the intense night she had experienced.

This man was perfect in every aspect, but he was too intense in bed, which overwhelmed her.

Nevertheless, last night marked the end.

Today, she had made up her mind to end her year-long affair with him as she was leaving for work abroad in just two days.

Casiane lingered in the bathroom for about an hour before finally opening the door, wrapping herself in a towel as she stepped out.

When she raised her head, she met the man's deep eyes, gazing at her with profound intensity.

"Oh? You're awake?" Casiane was surprised that he had already woken up.

The man raised his eyebrows, sitting on the edge of the bed. The silk sheets slipped down to his waist, revealing his honey-toned skin with a healthy glow and a row of distinct bite marks on his shoulder.

Clearly, she had left those marks last night.

Seeing the marks she had left on him, Casiane felt a bit better about herself. She found her clothes from the night before, discarded her towel before him, and began to get dressed.

"Are you leaving?" The man noticed her intention and frowned slightly. His handsome face was darkened.

"Yes," Casiane nodded and continued dressing.

"Do you have any free time this weekend?" The man's deep eyes concealed a hint of longing. His voice was low and resonant.

"No," Casiane responded, shaking her head lightly.

"What about next week?" The man asked, his gaze remained gentle.

"Still no," Casiane persisted in her refusal.

"Call me when you do," the man's eyes revealed a hint of disappointment, but he didn't push further.

"I probably won't contact you again," Casiane stated as she finished dressing, suddenly locking eyes with him.

"What do you mean?" The man's profound eyes darkened, revealing a complex emotion.

"I'm leaving the country in two days," Casiane met his gaze, raising her eyebrows.

"Leaving the country?" The man's face showed a mix of emotions.

Casiane's gaze remained composed. "Yeah, I'm leaving the country for work, and I won't be back for a while. We probably won't see each other again."

The man furrowed his eyebrows, and his expression turned somewhat unpleasant.

He suddenly lifted the covers off the bed and slowly walked towards her. His unfathomable gaze fixed on her, emitting a chilling aura.

"Are you saying you want to break up with me?" His voice was hoarse.

Watching his towering figure approaching her, Casiane hesitated for a moment and instinctively stepped back...
