The girl on the bed slept peacefully while curled up like a cat under the quilt. Only her bright red hair and a pair of dainty feet peeked out from under the sheets.

After a while, Olivia Dixon turned over in the bed and sat up in a daze. The white silk quilt fell from her shoulders, revealing flawless skin on her chest. It was evident from her beautiful face that she was struggling to keep her eyes open.

Olivia looked around and wondered, "Why am I in a hotel?"

She remembered going into a bar for a drink the previous night but not getting wasted! Although she tried with all her might to remember, she could not recall a single thing that happened after that.

She tried moving but felt extremely sore all over her body. When she glanced down, her eyes widened instantly.

"Oh god!" Olivia thought.

Who could tell her why she was in her birthday suit?

A terrible thought invaded her mind, and she panicked immediately.

"Bzzz--, Bzzzt--"

Something was vibrating in the black Hermès bag lying on the ground. Olivia reached out to the side of the bed for its strap and pulled. She then unzipped the bag and took the phone out.

There was a message!

She quickly opened the message, which read "Olivia, your best friend Charlotte Brown is seducing your boyfriend Jason Cruise while you are out of the country. Come to the Dixon Company if you need proof, as they are together every day."

Olivia felt blood rising to her head after reading the message. The person must be someone close to her to know that she was not in the country as well as their names. Therefore, the message had at least a 50% chance of being credible. Otherwise, she hoped it was a prank!

Containing all her anger within herself, she got out of the bed and quickly put on her clothes before leaving. During this whole time, she could think of nothing but the message.

With the quilt lifted, the bloodstain on the bed looked as red as roses.

After some time...

The door to the bathroom opened, and a tall man who was neatly dressed walked out. He had dark brown hair and sharp facial features. His face had both the softness of an Asian and the sculpted contour of a European. In other words, he looked both handsome and elegant.

With a pair of fox eyes, he squinted thoughtfully at the empty bed.

Meanwhile, a champagne-coloured Porsche sped from the airport.

At the Dixon Company's lobby, people had been bowing unctuously since Olivia appeared. This woman in sky-high heels emanated the aura of a proud queen with a Birkin in her hand and a white fur coat hung on her shoulders.

She went straight to the general manager's office on the 38th floor with a stone-cold face.

Seeing Olivia, the secretary stood up in surprise. "Miss, why are you here?"

"Do I need to inform you, Ollie, before I come?" said Olivia sarcastically while she glared coolly at the secretary.

"Of... of course not!" Stunned by the glare, Ollie shivered and quickly shook his head.

Olivia did not want to put a staff in a difficult situation. She walked straight towards the office with mixed feelings because even though she must see it clearly for herself, she did not want to be hurt.

Seeing that she was about to push the door open, Ollie ran over to stop her in a panic. "Miss, you can't go in now, the general manager is having a guest at the moment."

"Get out of my way--" Olivia glared while her heart felt heavier with every passing second.

"Miss, please don't put me in a difficult position. You really can't go in." Ollie broke out in a cold sweat. He did not dare to defy his superior's orders, but neither could he afford to offend this young lady.

Keeping her silence, Olivia pushed Ollie aside and kicked the door open.
