"Approaching destination, all passengers should get ready to alight the vehicle," the voice of a female artificial intelligence driving the vehicle, Fz298 filled the vehicle.

Few minutes after the notification from the AI pilot, the vehicle which was once flying close to sound speed slowed down and the four wheels which once served as propellers changed position with the vehicle slowly dropping to the floor as a regular car.

The vehicle was a Quadmobile, a car that flew about ten metres above the ground and had a programmed AI that pilots it.

Three newly turned adults who had stepped out of the Quadmobile finally stopped walking on getting to the foot of a building which seemed to be the tallest and largest in the surrounding.

"I'm nervous, tell me you're nervous," the only girl among the three blurted out in anxiety.

"Is no one else nervous, why am I the only o...."

"Kara, you just need to calm down," a guy standing next to Kara adviced.

He was about 5.8 feet's tall and had sparkling green eyes, short blonde hair and an average muscular build.

"Listen to Damien or you're going to end up having a panic attack," the other guy said.

He was a but taller than Damien and he had a rough black hair.

"You're probably right Lucian, it's nothing. I'm just going in there to know how my life's gonna be," Kara swallowed.

"Oh my God, what if I'm chosen to be a teacher, or a cop, or a..."

Having enough of Kara's panic, Damien winked at Lucian and leaned in towards Kara, pressing his lips against hers.

Successfully, the kiss did its jobs and calmed Kara's nerves. Damien's kiss was something she could never get used to.

"Now let's go," Lucian said with a sigh and the trio walked into the building.

Inside the building were robots moving to and fro, people going about their business and high tech gadgets.

"Hello, welcome to The Federation, how may I help you?" A white robot of about 6 feet tall welcomed them.

"We're here for the assignments," Damien replied.

"Okay, follow me as I escort you to the Fate Chamber," the robot said and turns around.

"Welcome to the Fate Chamber," the floating robot said as a white door opens with a hissing sound.

Walking a little further into the large room, a blonde man takes over from the robot.

"Kindly step into any of those simulators," he said and pointed at numerous standing circles that glowed with bright white lights.

Kara, Damien, and Lucian tgdn stepped into three simulators directly next to each other.

The blonde man picks up a white helmet and stands before Lucian.

"This might hurt a little," he says and puts the helmet on Lucian.

He flips on a switch on the helmet and a surge of diminished Aion energy pulses through Lucian causing him to convulse rapidly.

Aion energy was a form of renewable energy discovered by two Italian archeologists.

While digging through an ancient city rubble, they discovered pieces of a strange rock. Aionite.

When a red Aionite is joined to a blue Aionite, a form of extremely powerful energy, Aion energy is formed.

This energy didn't need to be charged or renewed as the energy keeps being produced as long as the Aionites are kept together.

Later, scientists found a way to recreate more of the rocks.

The blonde man flipped a second switch on the helmet before placing two other helmets on Kara and Damien.

After a few seconds, the blonde man took off Lucian's helmet.

He clicked a transmitter on the helmet and the results appeared on a large screen on the wall.

"Bio-technologist," Lucian muttered and the calm expression on his face suddenly morphed into a wide smile.

"Yes!" Lucian jubilated and punched the air.

The blonde man then removed Kara's helmet and transfer the result to the big screen.

  FEDERAL ATTORNEY

"I'll take it," Kara says while the blonde man transmitted results from Damien's results to the screen.

"Why is it taking so much time for the results to load?" Lucian asked in anticipation as he stared at the load sign.

After some seconds, a result finally pops up.

  XX

"XX, what's XX?" Kara asked the blonde man.

"It's an error," the blonde man replied.

"Don't worry, a robot will escort you both to where a machine will input everything you need to know about your jobs into your brains. You'll be given certificates thereafter," the blonde man said to Kara and Lucian before facing Damien.

"Follow me," the blonde man said and walked out of the chamber.

"You're lying, aren't you," Damien asked from behind the blonde man.

"That results signifies something. It's a secret and you don't want my friends knowing about it," Damien continued.

"A smart one. Hmn. I like that," the blonde man said without turning around.

  "I'm Mark by the way."

"Damien. Damien Stone," Damien introduced himself.

"So, that XX stands for a secret organization that had existed for centuries, far before the government got to know about it," Mark said and walked into a door.

"What does the organization involve in?" Damien stepped into the small room and the door behind him closed.

"No one really knows, only the extremely top people knows about it. As I said, it's an extremely secretive organization," Mark replied as he flipped some switches and input instructions into a machine.

"I'm opening a portal that'll take you there. The rest is up to you," Mark said.

A deep blue-purple portal soon began to slowly form and Damien swallowed nervously.

"Bye," Mark said, "I'll tell your friends you were assigned a first level spy and had to leave immediately."

"Here goes nothing." Damien sighed and stepped into the portal.
