Chiamaka

By 4am, I woke up from my dreamless sleep and walked straight to the kitchen after praying. I knew my mom would be in the kitchen preparing delicacies, She would sell for the day.

"Good morning, mama".

"Good morning, dear. How was ur night ?".

"Fine, mama".

"Please assist me with these cooking, So you can start preparing for school early".

"Okay, mama"

I assisted her quickly and by 6:00, I took everything we both prepared to her restaurant . Hmmm, this is what I do every morning before going to school.

My name is chiamaka obi. I hail from Imo state but I live with my parents in a compound located at Okeke town, Our house is two-bedroom flats that consist of a sitting room, a toilet and a kitchen.

My mum is a beautiful, hard-working and intelligent woman but I wondered why she married my beast father. My dad is a Casanova and also a drunkard, he always beat and sexually assault her most times in my presence but all I do was to cry because if I beg him to stop beating my mum, he would beat me too.

One of the room was for my dad, he always brought girls into the house. I knew it always annoy my mum anytime she see a girl in my Dad's room. Meanwhile, my mum and I shares the other room.

I am the only child of my parents and I'm 16 of age. I am in my final year in secondary school and I attended Okeke community secondary school. I have a best friend, her name is Chioma.

Chioma

I woke up around 6 a.m. in order to prepare for school. I ran into my bathroom with my towel and hurriedly brushed my teeth and took my bath. When I was done with dressing for school, I went to the dining room to have my breakfast.

My name is chioma okonkwo, I hail from abia State but I live in Okeke town with my aunt, because I was an orphan. My aunt is married to a good man and she also had a son named Uche.

I quickly prepared for work, had my breakfast with chioma and left for work .

My name is Uche Eze, I hail from abia State but lives in Okeke town with my parents and Chioma, my cousin sister. I'm 18 of age and also an admission seeker, my dream school is University of Benin.
