Audrey POV

I was practicing the endless interview questions and my personal introduction every free moment I had. I wanted to be one-hundred percent prepared for anything the judges asked me. The day finally arrived. I had all my shoes, suits, and dresses packed and loaded in my Tahoe. The three-hour journey to Baton Rouge felt like a lifetime. My nerves were fizzing over the edge like a soda can that had been shaken up and opened. Like any other girl competing, I wanted to win. I wanted the opportunity to represent the state of Louisiana at the national pageant. About that time, the pageant director called ‘next’ in a loud tone, which indicated that she was ready for me to check in. Her sudden, booming voice sent chills down my spine, however, I disregarded my uneasiness, told my new friend goodbye, and walked over to the table in my hot pink cocktail dress and nude heels. The registration process went very smooth. I turned in my glamorous headshot for the photogenic competition, entered my outfit for casual wear, and turned in the not so glamours.

Well, I had my registration and I walked out of the venue because Ryan was here to pick me up and I packed my staff in to my duffle bag and carried it on my shoulder and made my way out of the building and in the huge parking area. I glimpse around the parking to spot Ryan or his car and it took me a hot mint to finally, found him.

My Prince charming, He was, well, different from all others. He was handsome, not perhaps in the conventional sense, but he had that appearance which could make him stand out in the crowd.

I move towards him slowly, gushing over him. His hands were in pants pocket and he was standing against his car hood.

" Ryan! I said and ran towards him, I climb to his hips and wrapped my arms and leg's around him.

" Awwww, you don't know how much I miss you and what took you so long to come to me?

He squeeze me tight, using his arms around me and said, " I miss you so much more then you can think of my princess but you know, I had to finish shooting the campaign and I just got 3 days off from work so, I fly to you to spend this time with you."

When he said he had only 3 days I became extremely upset because we haven't seen each other in a month and he just came for 3 days.

He put me down on my feet and said," Don't be upset Audrey, I'll come for your competition."

he cups my face in his hands and he kisses me so deeply that I don't know who is breathing for who, but his mouth and tongue taste like warm honey. I don't know how long it lasts, but when I let go of him, I miss it already.

" Please, give me a pretty smile."

I grinned because I can't be upset from him more then 5 second.

" That's my girl! so, tell me what do you want to eat?

He wrapped his arm around me and I give him another kiss on his lips.

Cara POV

I was standing at the doorway of the classroom holding my books clutched to my chest and waiting for the class to start with my only friend Olivia about prom.

" What do you think? who would ask me for prom this year?

" Why you are talking about the prom right now? it's 6 months later."

" I know, but I can't wait and I just wanna know who's gonna ask me for a date? Do you not excited?

" I'm not coming this year prom!

" Why?

" Do you not remember what happened last year prom... no one ask me for the prom and I came with my brother to announce the prom queen and the prom king and the whole school started to boooo at me because I announced it."

" But we had so much fun that night. "

" Yeah, clearly you had a lot fun you were all over charlie but sadly, I wasn't having fun at all."

" Oh! Come on, you had all fun, you announced Zener as prom king what else you want?

" You forgot about Brooke!

I was focusing on the conversation with her but then the corner of my eyes, caught his glimpse. He was a handsome man, several inches over six feet, green-eyed, with dark chestnut hair and features that bore the patrician stamp of aristocratic breeding. I remain still as he walked pass me with his group of friends he was Wear white sports shoes along with denim and joggers. I stare blankly at the profile of my handsome, troubled man and wonder whether I could be classed as troubled too, now. My sanity is certainly questionable, but I'm sane enough to admit that. I was a normal, sound-minded girl. I definitely don't qualify for that any more.

For his part, Theo knew he was handsome. It had nothing to do with looking in the mirror, which he rarely did. It had everything to do with the way the girls at school looked at him, the way they became satellites when he walked by, their orbits contorted by his own mysterious gravity. If attention could be measured like the Doppler effect, girls would show a massive blue shift in his presence. In the last year or so, he had even remarked the scrutiny of older women—teachers, cashiers at stores, the woman who delivered UPS packages to his house. What had once been a maternal flavor in their glances had taken on a lingering, cool sort of appraisal. He could almost hear them thinking, Not yet. But soon.

Despite his upbringing, despite the infamy of his father, they still watched him. Or maybe because of it. Maybe everyone was right about bad boys.

" Audrey, what happened? just go inside your class was about to begin and see you after the class. " Olivia said and I nodded and spinned around.

I feared that he would do anything with me which I never expected but I can't become a pussy cat. ... just act normal and don't looked at him.

I breath the last courage that left inside of me and walk through the door, just looking down through my glasses.

I heard his laughter echoing through my ears like a tunning fork. I walked straight to the 2nd last seat at the back. I slung my bag over to the desk and then I sat down, opening the books I took the stationary out of the bag pack.

" Psssss... I heard whispering behind me and as I turn my face... sigh... I met his perfectly pairs of emerald eyes. He sighed and then focused his eyes right on me. It was like drowning, drowning in seas of green. There was nothing in the world except for those eyes.

" Cara, did you do your math's homework? he asked me while he was chewing the gum. I thought, what in world he would ask me something so nicely? maybe it's just a dream and I pinch myself on my forearm.

" What are you doing??? he asked me.

" I-I... nothing... I did nothing." I stutter

" Are you sure? he asked me with a tiny bit concerned in his eyes. I nodded in agreement.

" Did you do your homework?

" Yes, I did my homework" I replied without making any eye contact with him.

" I forgot do mine because my father was in the hospital and I was with him all night I didn't have to do homework."

" So, What do I do?

" so, is there any chance you can give me your homework " I was a bit shock and as much as I want to help him but I can't because the mids are right at the door and I don't want to fail in this class.

" Well, if I give you my homework then what would I show to the Miss luan."

" You are her favorite student, I bet she won't say anything to you but my case is way worse. "

Well, I thought for a second to give him my homework but then I realize how badly he treated me for all these two years of high school. He bullied me a lot about my appearance, physically and mentally also. I change my mind to not giving him my hard work.

" I wish, I could help you but I can't and it is because how you treated me ? I said on to his face and rolling my neck at the front. I felt so good because at least I give him a proper answer.

" FUCK YOU!! BITCH!! GET YOUR FUCKING FAT ASS OUT OF MY FACE!! he yelled at me from behind and all class eyes turned towards me. I thought, Oh shit! please don't react Cara... don't cry... "

I took the book from the desk and face planet in it and I was hearing, theo was cussing me.

Rrrrrr.... Rrrrrr.....Rrrrrr

The period bell rang and I relieved because Miss luan entered in the room. Everyone greeted her.
