Hello, my name is Andrew Summers, and I'm going to be investigating the murder of my girlfriend, Anna Harris. This journal will be used to write down my thoughts and clues that I find on the case. Each entry must be short, as I don't have much time in my day. I will start on describing myself. I have dirty blonde hair, tan skin, freckles on my face, and I normally wear blue. I play football every Sunday with my friends Dan and Andy. I work the 9-5 shift at Danny's Tacos alongside Anna. Or, I did. Anna, however, had beautiful, long, golden hair cut almost down to her butt, and she always wore her grandmother's hairpin, a baby blue clip with a tiny white daisy on it. She normally wore dresses, but she used to play football with me so she would have to wear athletic clothes. She was amazing. Whenever someone mentions her name, I get butterflies still. Anna was so easy to love, with her laugh like church bells and her smile brighter than the sun, I was so lucky to have her as mine. Until it happened. We were watching a movie in her attic, so her parents wouldn't know we were still awake. It was a horror movie. Friday the 13th, I think it was. She was snuggled into my side, we were under a pink blanket on two beanbag chairs. We heard knowckimg on the window, and I told Anna to hide while I checked it out. She hid downstairs. I opened the window and this man in dark clothing jumped on top of me, knocking me to the ground. We tussled for a bit, until he tied my hands to a heavy chest using some rope. The next thing I heard was three screams; first Anna's, then silence for a bit, then her mom's, then her dad's. I yelled for help, and they came up and untied me, asking if I was alright. I ignored them both, leaping from the attic like Spiderman and looking at where Anna had hid. She apparently was hiding under her father's desk, but she was gone now, blood in her mist. Too much blood was lost for her to survive for too much longer. I broke down and cried my heart out. Anna's parents cried with me. Ever since that day, I've cried myself to sleep every night, praying with very little hope that she was still alive somewhere, doing anything, anything, just please God don't let her be dead. I believe that this was more than a random murder. No, this was planned. Someone had beef with Anna. This was revenge.
