I stopped at a bar et restaurant and looked around before walking in, this place is really not for young girls like me but I have to eat , I can’t starve myself

“ Hey little fella .. what ya doing in here” a fat man obviously a bartender asked

“ Food… I want food sir … can I also get water?” I demanded as my stomach rumbled loudly

“You want food?... And water right?” He questioned earning a nod from me

“Do you dance?” He inquired inquisitively while I nodded all smiles

“I can really dance sir…do you want me to entertain the customers around.. don’t worry leave that to me!” I said sincerely

“What’s that around ya neck?... It’s glowing” he said trying to touch my necklace but I held it tightly

“It’s nothing mister ..just an ordinary necklace.. my late mother’s possession” I said but honestly that was a big lie! No one must know am cursed ..I don’t Even know if I have a mother

Sighs!

“Lets get rock’ in mister” I said while he gave a big smile still eyeing my necklace , he went to another man whispered something into his ears and came back to me

“ya in fella”

“yesss!” I squealed and made way to the open

All eyes on me.. I can do this

“good day ma’am and sirs ..am Crystal.. here to dance…

*Somewhere in the bar*

“Crystal!” a woman whispered

“Its definitely her.. the cursed soul …with the silver orb necklace” another said

They kept staring at the little girl dance performance

“why is she dancing?... Dancing is a huge crime in our world!.. she must stop!”

“Then make her stop… freeze them all! And let’s get this done with.. we can’t keep the Royal household waiting”

I finally stopped.. am glad I could show my talent to everyone in here

I got my pay.. although it was meager but I can manage

I pushed the door open and moved out.. I looked around my neck only to find the necklace missing

I ran back into the bar to the back stage ransacking the whole place ..I finally sighted the bartender with it smiling

“ hey my necklace” I yelled trying to grab it from the man but he used my height to his advantage by raising his hands higher

“This necklace looks expensive and rare” he said greedily as I struggled

“It’s mine mister.. give em back!” I screamed but immediately kept shut the moment I saw him freeze and the necklace floated and rested on my neck

“Hey pretty lady” someone said as I looked back and saw two woman ..but they don’t look human

White skin and pretty

“Who are you!”

“You will find out later on ..but we have money to give you!”

“Money?.. OMG ..were is it?” I asked ..I really need money

“but first we need a drop of your blood on this book!” they said

Now am suspicious ..why do they need my blood?

“For 8 thousand dollars”

Hmm.. I can attend evening classes , rent a cheap room, buy few fairly used clothes, buy food for my stomach..

“Okay then…” I agreed and saw the happiness displayed on their faces

I don’t know if I did a foolish thing ..guess I was young and gullible and innocent and due to the condition am living in I was Desperado for money

My life changed drastically.. I wish I could turn back the hands of time because my future is really afflicted with different pains , dangers and secrets..

“Stretch out your palm” she instructed and I did obediently, a big book was opened with different pics of map signs, swords men, horse men and a dragon

Does dragons Even exist?

I was jolted out of my thought when I felt a sharp like pain on my finger, my blood fell and in a slow like motion it dripped into the book and landed on the dragon picture

The woman smiled in satisfactory closing the book and it vanished

“Where’s my money?” I demanded already feeling woozy , my head spinned and my vision became blurry

“What did you do to me… I want my money… you lied to me!” I could hear my own voice loud and clear echoing in my ears , soon it began to fade.. I was seeing double of things around me and the ladies gone

I drifted into unconsciousness

At the Royal palace

The emperor sat down gracefully on the throne and soon the trumpet was blown and the empress walked in and sat beside the emperor

“Summon the guardians!” his voice boomed as the trumpet blew loudly

“Ling and Chen are arriving” a guard informed in a loud voice

Ling and Chen.. celestial guardians, strong and powerful, manipulative and tricky

“Were is she?” the emperor asked

“The girl has arrived and will be brought in soon” Chen informed bowing slightly

The look on the empress face was that of anger but she tried to hide it, she had a beautiful bride for the dragon prince but it against the law of celestial realm because this anonymous girl was the chosen one

Almost immediately Crystal was brought in already dressed in a Royal emblem, the look on the little girls face was clueless and frightening

“Hey let me go.. were am I ?I want to go … take me back!” she screamed

“Silence! No one speaks with permission from the emperor.. you little imp!”

The empress ordered in anger, she already felt disgusted at the sight of her

“She still young and naïve Lydia… give her some space!” the emperor ordered as empress Lydia scoffed and sat in rage

“Welcome home Crystal… this is your home as from henceforth… your coronation is in two weeks time so get prepared..”

“This can’t be my home… what am I wearing?... Please I want to go back..” she interrupted, something no one had ever did , but surprisingly the emperor kept his cool

“Its enough Crystal!... Chen assign a personal maid for her.. ling inform the prince to see me when he arrives.. you all are dismissed!”

“we will do as instructed your Royal majesty” they both chorused as the empress walked out immediately and Crystal was taken away

I don’t know how but when I woke up I found my self in this anonymous place.. although everywhere is beautiful and magnificent but they lied to me!

I don’t know what this place is.. what am doing in here.. what they meant by coronation.. I …I am so confused!

The door pushed open and the lady who had cut my finger walked in with another young miss…

“Crystal!... Here is your personal maid.. she’s bina and am chen” she introduced

“You lied to me Chen or whatever!... You lied!” I blurted out as tears fell

“I want to go back… I don’t want any of this things… I want no maid.. this was never the money I asked for.. please!” I whimpered as she stroked my hair

“Am sorry..” it came like a whisper and I sighed in defeat

“Its your destiny… and I promise to protect you Crystal.. i promise!” she said as I gave a weak smile and watched her walk out
