Introducción
"Lana Harvey, I'm quite curious, why do you believe you can marry me, and become Mrs. Branch?“ Elliot looked straight to her soul and sneered. If it were the previous life, the way Elliot looked at her with such icy eyes might have already frightened her away. However, she's not the same Lana from the past. In her previous life, Lana was thrown into the fire by her dreadful fiancé. When she woke up and returned to the day when everything had changed, she decisively chose to reverse it all. "Sure, you can find a woman from a similar social background to be your wife, but they usually want more. For example... your heart," she chuckled. "But I don't want it. We're just taking what we need from each other, so why not?" Lana turned away from the man and continued, "Furthermore, regarding the secret I just mentioned, if you don't keep me in check, can you trust me, Sir?"

The searing pain, ignited by the raging flames, sent waves of agony coursing through every inch of Lana Harvey's skin. She writhed in the inferno, pleading for mercy, but the distant, flickering silhouettes remained motionless. Their gazes fixed upon her, almost mocking.

An overwhelming hatred surged through her as if it set every nerve on fire. She swore to never let those scoundrels off the hook even if she became a ghost!

Suddenly, she snapped her eyes open, stinging from the luxurious crystal chandelier's brilliance. Tears welled up, making her eyes blur.

She coughed violently as if the thick smoke still clung to her throat.

A figure enveloped her, and with a wary glance, she met a pair of surprised eyes that couldn't believe she had awakened.

Yandel Pittman!

He had showered her with endless affection and then pushed her into this raging fire pit.

Her mind briefly froze, and she distinctly remembered being pushed into the fiery abyss by Yandel and her cousin Addisyn Harvey. She should be dead.

"Lana... you're awake?" After a pause of shock, Yandel asked softly.

Lana's eyes darkened, and she didn't reply. She carefully examined him. It was indeed Yandel, just younger than she remembered.

Her gaze lingered on Yandel, and her mind felt jumbled like she was in a dream, yet the scene before her felt so real.

Everything around her seemed so familiar, as if she had seen it all before.

It was almost too real...

With a sudden hum, as if in disbelief, her clear, bright eyes trembled slightly. Had she been reborn?

She urgently needed to confirm her hunch. Her eyes darted to the smartphone resting on the bedside table, and she reached out to grab it.

She tapped the screen, and the date appeared before her.

She... had truly been reborn.

Back to five years ago, before she had married Yandel.

Today was...

Her pupils instantly dilated. Today was the most crucial turning point in her destiny, the day she had sex with Yandel, which led to her marrying him before truly understanding him.

Her tragedy had stemmed from this very moment.

Without time for further thought, she only wanted to escape this place and get away from Yandel.

But Yandel didn't intend to let her go just like that. His large hand clamped onto Lana and did not release her.

Lana struggled. "Yandel, what are you doing?"

"Lana, I'll be responsible for what I did to you!"

He wasn't going to let this chance slip away tonight. If Lana left, his plan might take who knows how long to succeed. He didn't want to waste too much time on her.

Lana realized what Yandel intended to do and cursed him inwardly. She resisted with all her might. Since she was granted a second chance at life, she wouldn't repeat her mistakes.

"Let go of me!"

She struggled fiercely and shouted loudly.

"Lana, stop struggling, it's useless. Anyway, you're already my girlfriend, so whatever happens is normal. Why resist?"

With a tearing sound, Lana's clothes were ripped into shreds.

Her heart sank instantly, a sense of despair washing over her. Couldn't she escape his grasp even in this second life?

No!

She wouldn't submit!

"Ah!"

Yandel's arm throbbed with pain. Looking closer, he realized Lana had suddenly bitten him fiercely enough to draw blood.

Immediately, Yandel's expression changed drastically, becoming cruel and heartless. Lana remembered this look all too well.

In her previous life, it was the same look he had when she was pushed into the flames.

"You wretch! How dare you bite me!" With a loud smack, Yandel slapped Lana across the face, leaving his finger marks on her small cheek.

Lana didn't back down. Her right leg bent slightly, and she landed a powerful kick on Yandel's manhood.

As he let out a painful scream, Lana broke free. She immediately rolled off the bed and tried to get away.

Still clutching his aching groin, Yandel saw Lana's attempt to flee. He got up quickly and reached out to grab Lana by her hair, yanking her back. "C*nt!"

Lana's hand was inches from the door handle, but the pain in her scalp forced her to step back. She watched helplessly as the door handle grew farther and farther away.

Yandel forcefully threw her to the ground, tugging at his shirt collar with a glint of anger in his eyes.

His patience had reached its limit. "You're asking for this, Lana. Do you think you can escape today after stepping through that door?"

As he spoke, Yandel began to unfasten his belt. He was determined to claim Lana right here today.

His fierce look made Lana feel a bit frightened. She cowered in the corner and trembled as she said, "Yandel, what are you doing? Aren't you my boyfriend? Why rush things? Sooner or later, I'll be yours, right?"

"Yes, you'll be mine sooner or later. What difference does it make if I f*ck you today or later?" Yandel sneered as he pulled Lana up, intending to throw her onto the bed.

At that moment, Lana's expression changed. Her right hand was hidden behind her back. She grabbed a ceramic vase from the corner of the room and smashed it on Yandel's head.

His pupils immediately dilated, his eyes filled with shock.

And then, he fell flat on the ground, motionless.
