　　MANDY’S POV

　　A faint tingling sensation from the side of my left cheek woke me up from the deep slumber I was in.I sensed a soft trail of touch from the corner of my mouth to my jaw and then back to my cheeks.My eyeballs rolled,trying to open my eyes but it felt like a big bag of potatoes were atop my face. That's how heavy my eyelids felt right now.

　　It hurts so freaking much ……

　　The tingling sensation was soon replaced by something on my collarbone.It was done so lovingly and it made me feel all mushy.This was not Matts touch, it was something different and it was definitely not compared to Matts graby nature, I know he's my boyfriend and all but whatever.

　　So much with difficulty I pried my eyes open.The first thing that comes into my view is a big picture of my brother along with some other trashy posters.I blinked my eyes trying to gain my stance I had fallen asleep in my brothers room after our movie marathon last night.

　　‘’You're awake, finally,’’. I heard the deep voice of Noah my brothers annoying best friend and the force with which i snapped my head made me feel a little bit dizzy,its probably a terrible idea to binge movies until the early hours of the morning.

　　My first instinct was to shout,yes you heard me right.

　　‘’What the hell are you doing in my room Noah,’’ I screamed in his face while trying to get up.

　　‘’Well technically this is Hunter's room not yours sweetheart and your brother asked me to wake you up. It's almost time for school so get your ass in the shower.

　　‘aggh I really hate you yah know, ‘I said to his face.

　　‘No you don't sweetheart you love me, get ready on time so we can leave for school,Noah said leaving the room.

　　‘’Let me introduce you to Noah, my brother's best friend and our ‘dearest neighbour' .note the sarcasm. Noah Blake hottest guy in school, the star quarterback at Flynn High School and of course he also had to be a part time model, and yes i used to have a teeny tiny crush on him but I’m over that now at least I tried over the years but he certainy never notived me, like never noticrd me unless it was to make fun of me and the fact the He is my brothers best friend and he practically lived at our house didnt help my crush on him, only made it worse well until a few months ago when I met Matt my boyfriend of four months and I geniunely liked Matt even if Hunter and Noah absolutely hate him for no reason at all.

　　Well thats enough talk of Noah in one day.

　　I made my way to my room and got out the items of clothing I would wear today and headed into my shower.

　　I rushed down the stairs after spending at least thirty minutes changing from one outfit to another, I wanted to look good on the first day and i just wanted to feel pretty; I settled on a yellow sundress with my favourite pair of sandals,curled my blonde hair and put a coat of mascara on my eyelashes,well this would have to do.

　　‘Hey sis; how was your sleep,’’My brother asked from his seat already devouring his pancakes.

　　‘’It was fine Hunter,where is Dad ‘’, i asked.

　　‘’He left early for his meeting Sweetheart,’’Noah replied looking up from his place beside Hunter at the counter.

　　I walked past him totally ignoring him, not my fault Noah annoyed the hell out of me.

　　‘’You’re walking to school if you dont tell me Thank you,’’Noah said annoyingly.

　　‘’Yeah like you’d actally do that;Hunter replied cheerily.

　　‘’I wasnt even talking to you in the first place I said cutting my pancakes and getting ready to put it in my mouth until it was rudely swiped by none other than Hunter.

　　‘’HUNTER why did you take my pancake,’’ I said glaring at him.

　　‘’Sorry you were taking too long and I’m still hungry so I thought why not; He said in one breath.

　　‘’Enough with the chit chat meet me outside’’.Noah said walking out of the kitchen area.

　　My gaze followed him to the door.

　　I sigh.

　　I walked towards Noahs SUV,I really dont know why Hunter refuses to drive his own car.He claims it saves fuel and it provides more hangout time for him and Noah.

　　I climbed into the back seat and put my bag beside me waiting for Noah to drive us to school.

　　‘Heyy Hunter hurry up or we’re gonna be late’’.Noah called out to Him as he fumbled with the house key.

　　‘Already here ‘.He said slamming the front seat door.

　　Noah and Hunter have been best friends since they were six years old and by default,I’ve known Noah my entire life. I cant help but laugh at the irony of that situation;Someone I’d grown up with,seen nearly every single day,who spent countless hours in my home,we barely had a decent conversation.The very first time that i laid my eyeson Noah i was smitten.I was five years old and I’d been walking home fromschool with Hunter.We’d just moved to Flynnsville and it was our first day.After a wrong turn we’d gotten lost and although Hunter promised me He’d get us home but that didnt stopp me from crying my eyes out.Then,we’d seen a boy riding his bicycle down the road and he stopped right in front of us.I’d wiped my eyes immediately and ceased crying. He was the most handsome boy I’d ever seen,and his kind smile gave me butterflies,then.And he walked us home since he’d lived here all his life. Ever since that day,He and Hunter had been inseparable.

　　‘’We’re here’’.Noah announced after some minutes.

　　Well today is going to be a long day.
