Pregnant?
Sherry Adams looked at the pregnancy test and hesitated for an entire afternoon. She still decided to tell her husband Zeek Lewis about this matter.
Even though he had no feelings for her at all.
Zeek hated her and had already hacked her and her phone number. She could only make a phone call to Zeek's mother, Lucy Lewis.. Finally, she tactfully asked Lucy to convey to Zeek that he had to go home tonight.
After hanging up the phone, Sherry picked up the pregnancy test list, but her heart was a little heavy.
Zeek hated her so much that she didn't know if he would accept the child in her stomach.
She raised her hand and gently caressed her still flat lower abdomen. Her expression was somewhat inconspicuous. Perhaps … this child could be a turning point in their stalemate between she and Zeek.
After sitting for a while, Sherry asked Aunt Anna to prepare a sumptuous dinner and waited for Zeek to return.
However, it was midnight.
Sherry lay on the sofa, sleepily waiting for him to fall asleep.
In a daze, she suddenly felt a high—temperature body pressing down on her back. A familiar cold smell came along with a strong smell of alcohol. She suddenly woke up and struggled to say, "Zeek, what are you doing?"
Zeek did not waste words on her. He did not sympathize with Sherry and pressed her back. He lifted her skirt and went straight to the theme.
"Didn't I do what you wanted?" Zeek was rough and ruthless, causing Sherry to feel miserable. "You moved out of my mother and told me to come back tonight. Isn't that what you want to do with me?"
Sherry's entire body was exhausted from the pain, but thinking that there was still a child in her stomach, she clenched her teeth and struggled desperately.
But the more she struggled, the more ruthless Zeek's actions became.
The two of them moved quite a bit, alarming the butler, Aunt Anna, who had already rested. She lit up a flashlight and looked at the situation.
"Miss Adams, what's wrong?" Anna's lounge was located in the dining room and also in the glove room. It was still a long way from here, so she could not see the situation in the living room directly.
Sherry and Zeek's current situation could not be seen by outsiders, otherwise, how could she have the face to stay at home in the future?
"It's fine, you … ah!" Sherry wanted to stop Aunt Anna, but Zeek suddenly hurt her so hard that she couldn't help but scream.
"Miss Adams?" Aunt Anna thought that she was injured, and her footsteps were even faster. The light of the flashlight pierced into the living room.
Sherry's face instantly turned deathly pale, her body trembling with fear. She shouted in a panic, "Don't come over!"
Aunt Anna stopped for a moment, but she didn't leave. The light of the flashlight was still there. She hesitantly asked, "Miss Adams, what exactly happened? Should I call the police?"
Sherry was about to speak when Zeek spoke faster than her, with a hint of mockery, "It's me who came back. I'm doing something with her in the living room."
Aunt Anna's side suddenly went silent.
Sherry felt cold all over her body, and her heart was filled with despair.
Zeek deliberately made her lose all face. As long as he could torture her, regardless of whether this matter was embarrassing to him or not, he would still do it. Aunt Anna was silent like a cicada and quickly retreated without daring to say anything else.
Sherry simply didn't struggle anymore, like a wisp of ashes, lying on the sofa, letting Zeek humiliate her.
Like every time after half a year of marriage, Zeek stopped torturing her, tidied up her clothes, and was about to leave.
Sherry's entire body was weak. She barely pulled on her messy skirt and blocked her body. Her voice was hoarse as she called out to him.
"Zeek, why didn't you ask me why I called you back?"
Zeek stood tall and straight in the middle of the living room. The light of the landing lamp was warm and bright, decorating his figure even more handsome and elegant. He tilted his head slightly, revealing half of his exquisite and handsome face. His eyebrows were cold and cruel.
"Apart from calling me back to humiliate you, what other reason do you have?" Zeek stared at her with a cold gaze. "You're so cheap anyway, can't you do something serious?"
Sherry was speechless, and her intuition was that a large rock was blocking her throat, making her speechless, but she felt uncomfortable and sour.
Zeek sneered and withdrew his gaze. He only looked at her and indifferently said, "Don't use your brain on my parents in the future. I'm unhappy that you used them to suppress me. I'm unhappy, so I can only vent my anger on you."
Sherry's face was deathly pale as she lowered her eyelids and curled up.
She began to feel pain in her stomach … a life—threatening twitch.
However, Zeek did not look back at her. His stepped forward step by step and he left the villa without looking back.
With a thud, the villa door was heavily shut.
Sherry's body also rolled off the sofa, her stomach really hurts …
She had just been tormented by Zeek and had already lost half of her life. Now, her stomach was in intense pain, as if she was going to sweep away the other half of her life as well.
There was a burst of moisture between her legs, and Sherry stretched out her hand and touched it with great difficulty, her eyes were filled with scarlet red.
Her mind went blank for an instant, as if she did not understand what was on her finger. After a long while, she took a deep breath and reacted. She was just about to ask Aunt Anna to take her to the hospital, but the next second, she hurriedly put it away.
If Anna knew that she was pregnant, and Zeek and his parents would also know. Before she could confirm Zeek's attitude towards the child, she could not let them know.
Sherry took a deep breath and endured the intense pain with all her might. She called her friend Lily Smith and asked her to take a taxi to come here for help.
After a while, Sherry's face turned pale as if she was going to die on the spot when she entered the hospital.
After entering the emergency room, the child was barely alive. However, the doctor's expression was not very good as he said, "Young lady, don't rely on your good health to play so intensely. When you're pregnant, restrain yourself a little. Be careful that you won't be able to get pregnant again in the future."
Sherry lowered her eyelashes and said with a pale face, "I see. Thank you, doctor."
The doctor left with a straight face. Lily immediately leaned over and asked angrily, "Did that scum Zeek make you look like this? I'm going to fucking kill him!"
Sherry's face was pale, and even her usually bright eyes dimmed. She looked at Lily quietly, looking extremely fragile.
"Lily, he still doesn't know I'm pregnant."
Lily was stunned for a moment, "You haven't told him yet?"
Sherry's expression was withered like a puppet doll whose soul had been sucked out.
"It's him who doesn't want to hear me say it."
Lily opened her mouth, but didn't say a sentence.
Sherry and Zeek had a stiff relationship. She knew very well that the man was cold and cruel. He was too excessive to treat Sherry like a person. Because of that fraudulent marriage, he had always positioned Sherry. She was as stubborn as the stinkest hard rock.
After a moment of silence, she held Sherry's hand and whispered, "Then what are you going to do now? Zeek is so bad to you. Are you going to give birth to this child or … kill him?"
