Iker walked into the hotel looking around and making sure that the paparazzi was not around as he walked in to meet his sexy lover of years. His children followed. Avadh has planned a huge party in honour of his son in laws. Iker sighed as he saw Avadh and rushed to his man. Even after almost 28 years together, an hour away from him was hard for Iker.

Avadh held his fiesty lover and kissed him hard.

"Ew, can you two please stop," scowled Jeet and squealed when he saw the theme of the event. He absolutely adored magical themes.

"I am skinning you if we are late. I can't imagine how to begin apologising to Baba," scowled Samuel.

Magnus nodded, both throwing dirty looks to Ilyes who scowled.

"Baba will understand, just stop threatening our kid," said Carles fondly.

Samuel looked at his three months pregnant husband and kept his mouth shut after that. Arth was asleep on Magnus' arms and Jana's head was resting on the man's shoulder. Carles sat comfortably with Jeev and Clement balancing him from both sides. Ilyes sat in the front.

They reached the hotel and were careful not to land in front of paparazzi and went in. Iker hugged them all as he greeted them. Avadh and Iker looked happily at Carles who now had a small bulge.

Jeev looked at Clement.

"I think its Ivory- I will just take this to him," said Clement lifting the package of special weapons from the northern pack which Ivory asked for. Jeev raised an eyebrow at him. Clement faltered.

"Nothing too dangerous I promise," said Clement and dropped a kiss on Jeev's forehead. Ivory rushed to them and hugged them both and then Clement gave the parcel.

"I really hope it is nothing dangerous, Clem," said Magnus warningly.

Ivory scowled.

"I am not a kid you realise brother," said Ivory.

Magnus gave him a look which made him scowl.

"Okay, Okay, It is nothing dangerous. Don't go all scary Alpha on me," said Ivory almost pouting as he stormed off.

"It is just a special edged knife, I swear," said Clement to Iker who sighed and nodded.

Avadh grabbed Clement and was asking him more about the weapon which he elaborated. Jeev followed. Things were still new between the couple and everyone stayed out if it. They would let them sort it out.

Magnus cast a worried glance at Kanwar.

"Is his health good?" Magnus asked Pran who adored his brother in laws.

"No, he tries to not show it, but he tries to not show it. We are at a loss as to what to do," said Pran.

Avadh turned and looked at Magnus and Samuel, which meant there was something he needed to talk with the three of them, so they got to him.

"See, I want you all to stay with us for the next couple of months as I told you. Things are not well in the borders and Kanwar is not well," said Avadh.

"Don't worry Baba we will be here. Myrkovir has agreed to have the pack over. Uncle Ethan has set everything," said Magnus.

"Baba, we have to also discuss the possibilities of  getting Eka and Kanwar together. They can't go on like this," said Samuel casting a worri d glance at Kanwar who was talking to Atrey.

"I know, maybe it's time we spoke to Eka," said Avadh.

"So, How is things between you and Clement?" asked Iker worried. Avadh was looking at them which meant his Baba was also involved in the question.

Jeev glanced at Clement who was tying Jeet's now long hair.

"He is very nice. We go out together sometimes when he is on pack duty. I- He is funny too, makes me laugh all the time. He is also the third child in the family," said Jeev fondly as he looked at Clement. He felt the eyes on him and turned. He blew a kiss to Jeev who groaned.

"See," said Jeev blushing as he looked at Iker who was sharing a look with Avadh.

"Agh, stop making eyes at each other. I am fine," said Jeev placing his arm around Iker. Avadh walked over.

Jeev smiled as he hugged Baba. "He is wonderful, you both have nothing to worry about," said Jeev.

"Now, We worry about him too, should we be concerned?" asked Iker.

Avadh nodded.

"I am trying. I want to," said Jeev.

Both parents nodded.

Clement who was a bit closer picked it up with his extra powerful werewolf hearing, one of his many of powers and felt a rush of affection for them both.

Jeev looked around when it was time for dinner and Clement was not around. Then he saw the man playing with the kids in the game room. The kids have all had food.

"Come-on, you need to have dinner now," said Jeev. Clement turned.

"Okay, let's go," said Clement and got out. Jeev gripped Clement's hand tightly as they crossed the hall full of unfamiliar people into the family territory.

Clement liked it when Jeev took his arms. He always feels wanted and needed when that happens. They have rarely spoken much. They would spend day in- day out talking about others, pack, favorite stuff but never about themselves. Jeev laughs at all the jokes Clement cracks because he enjoys them. He loves the funny side of his mate.

"Aw hold on my princess, no one shall reach you past me," said Clement. Jeev blushed and swatted on his arm smiling.

Kanwar had to leave halfway with his brothers due to an issue in the border. Clement went with them as Magnus and Samuel decided to get the family back to palace safely.

They joined the battle that raged in the borders and it was horrific. Kanwar was drained. Samuel saw the moment Kanwar fell. He and Magnus reached in time and got him to the safety of the palace before going back to the fight.

Kanwar struggled to breathe and as he laid there when the healers moved around him, he could only remember his mate's face and the family they never had.
